《Out-Flirt Me - Anakin x Reader》Chapter 35- Finding out and Getting out

Funny, so am I.
You could hear his thoughts stop for a second.
Wait, really?
Yeah, I just talked to this weird guy. The Father.
Hold on, I think I see him.
He disconnected from your thoughts but you could still feel him. You wanted to tell 'Dont talk to him!' but that would just make Anakin suspicious. What if he hated you after learning you were created to destroy him? What if he left you and everyone he cared about to turn to the dark side? You wouldn't be able to live, because you would have to kill a part of yourself.
Sinking onto the floor, you placed your hands on your head and grabbed your hair. Deep breaths, deep breaths.
"Y/n! Are you alright? I didn't mean to, I swear!"
You held onto your arm as tears flowed from your eyes. You were 9 and it was Anakin's first year at the temple, almost second. He was playing with a pencil Obi-Wan had given him. It had been floating side to side with the force when it shot at you and sliced your arm.
"It's okay, Ani," You strained as you looked at your arm.
"Okay," He climbed off his bed and sat next to you on the ground. When he looked at your arm, he froze.
You mocked, "Deep breaths, deep breaths."
He had comforted you with these words only a few weeks ago. When you slipped on something in the garden and hit your back.
He chuckled as he responded, "You should take some too."
Deep breaths, the memory made you chuckle, I won't ever have to hurt Ani. I would never.
Rocking yourself back and forth, you held onto your legs. Anakin had gotten you a bacta patch and you were all better within a day. He had only been at the Temple for a year and yet you two would do anything for each other.
Your Master feared that you had become attached to him. Yet, she always said things like 'let it fuel you' or 'feel it and use it'. Since you were so young, you probably misheard. She wouldn't say those things, it was un-Jedi-like.
Now that you were feeling a bit calmer, you got back up and faced the window. Everything outside was a deep purple or black. Everything was dead, it was as if the world had died in the past few hours. As you walked toward it, it seemed as though there was a figure out there.
Squinting, you tried to figure out what it was but you couldn't. Then it disappeared and you flinched backward. After only a second, you felt a presence behind you. Your hands shook as you slowly turned around to face them.
When you caught sight of him, your shaking stopped. Qui-Gon, he stood in front of you not as a force ghost but alive.
"Master Qui-Gon?"
"I've been waiting for you to see me, it took you long enough."
Smiling, you responded, "I was afraid." You were taken back by your words, you hadn't even admitted that to yourself.
"I know, it's tough to see someone you know be dead. It can bring up old memories, frightening ones."
"Why did you keep on following me then?"
"I knew you would see me eventually, and then I would be there for you. If you ever needed someone, I was there."
"I could feel you, but I couldn't recognize it at the time. Then Anakin told me and it clicked."
"Ah, Anakin. You really don't like the code do you?"

Your face flushed, "Pardon?"
He chuckled, "I'm just messing with you, it's in our lineage."
"Breaking the code?"
"Yep, started with Dooku."
"So you broke it too? The attachments rule?" You had stepped closer to him and now you two were at a normal talking distance.
"I never said it was that rule," He smirked, "but yes, I did."
"And Dooku did too?"
"Yeah, when I was a padawan."
"Who did you love?"
He sighed, "It was a long time ago, but I loved another Jedi. Her name was Tahl and she was... my whole galaxy."
"What happened?"
"She died doing what she loved, helping others."
"I'm sorry."
He regained a happier expression, "Don't be, she's one with the force now. That's what sets us apart from the Sith, where they find loss we find something new. I could still talk to her any time, and now we're ghosts together."
You smiled at the perspective, the council wouldn't think like that. That's how you connected with Qui-Gon, you didn't always believe what the council said.
He placed his hand on your shoulder, "When your life changes, I'll be here. I'll be watching, you won't have to explain anything." His words had a knowing aura to them.
Still, you gave him a tight-lipped smile before looking back at the ground. His hand came off your shoulder and you asked,
"What do you-"
He was gone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You had gone to bed after Qui-Gon had disappeared and your sleep was only interrupted once. It was your master, she was doing something on a foreign planet. Something the force wanted you to see, but you couldn't.
A little later you felt a disturbance, but you couldn't sense what it was. Anyway, you had woken up in the morning when the tree was alive again. Now you were looking out the window, watching the breeze blow by.
The door opened and you turned around to the Daughter standing there. She looked very serious and only said,
"Come with me."
Then, she turned out the door and you had to job to keep up. You walked through the old stone hallways to a circular room. The large wooden doors closed behind you with a thud as she led you to a large circular window. Just outside was a stone courtyard that almost looked like an arena.
"Wait here." She began to walk out.
"So I don't get any information?"
"You'll know everything soon enough."
"Alright then." You snipped as the large doors closed.
As you exhaled from boredom, you sat on the floor on your knees. After your eyes had been closed for almost ten minutes, the doors opened again.
You stood up and turned around to a young girl drowsily falling to the floor.
"Auren!" You yelled as you ran toward her to catch her.
Grabbing her arms, you eased her to the floor. You saw her eyes half open and twitching.
"Auren? Auren come on, wake up." Tears glistened the corners of your eyes as you looked up to the door. No one was there, the door had shit itself again.
"Master?"
You looked down and Auren had awakened in your arms. She didn't look drowsy at all.
"Auren are you alright?" You asked as you helped her sit up.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. What happened?"
She rubbed the back of her head as you answered, "I have no clue. I thought you were dropped off here, but no one was at the door. Then you were unconscious."
"Oh, that sounds eventful. I'm sorry I missed it."
Together, you chuckled as you stood up together.
"You're all right though? No injuries or anything?"
"Not that I know of, I feel fine."
"Good."
Feeling drawn to the window, you walked back over to it with Auren by your side. She was getting close to your height and she had matured a bit since she first became your padawan. You kept your eyes on the window and that's when something came into view.
Two large bird-like animals flew over the courtyard. One was almost all black with deep red highlights. The other was white, gold, and light green, it looked at lot like the daughter.
When you looked down at their shadows, the Father was there with Anakin. You wanted to bang on the window and tell him to get out of there. But you could sense that there was nothing you could do now. You were just glad that Auren was safe next to you.
Hadn't Auren been with Ahsoka and Obi-Wan? If she was taken what happened to them?
"Auren, where are Ashoka and Obi-Wan?" You turned to her but she kept facing forward.
"Well Master, I think they're right there."
She pointed to the courtyard where the birds held two people in their feet. Ashoka and Obi-Wan we're trapped within their talons. Ashoka with the dark one, and Obi-Wan with the light one.
"Don't listen to anything they say, Master!" Ashoka yelled while trying to escape the bird's grasp.
Obi-Wan was doing the same while he yelled, "We'll be fine, Anakin!"
Still, you could feel Anakin's blood boil from through the window. So you sat down on your knees again.
"Master?"
"Shhh."
You focused on Anakin and his mind, sending him a wave of calm. Chanting in your head, deep breaths, deep breaths. He could feel you and he knew it was you who was calming him.
We'll all be fine, just keep your cool. Auren and I are safe, just focus on Ashoka and Obi-Wan.
Alright, thanks love.
No problem.
Smiling, you stood up to Auren who had her arms crossed.
"What did you just do?"
"I talked to Anakin."
"You can do that?" She looked out the window confused, "From all the way over here?"
"Yeah, we've always been able too."
"Huh, just the two of you?"
"Yeah." She was smirking at you so you just rolled your eyes.
"Does that have anything to do with the ring on your finger?" You locked eyes with her and your face went hot, "Yeah, I've been listening to what you've been trying to teach me. I'm supposed to focus more, I focused."
"Looks like I've been teaching you well, huh?"
"That wasn't my question."
"Well-"
Luckily, you were distracted by the people in the arena. Not so luckily, the Father said,
"You will have to choose who will live and who will die."
"What?" Anakin yelled, getting close to him.
"Chose between your master and your apprentice."
Obi-Wan got their attention, "Save Ashoka, Anakin!"
"No! Don't do it, Master!"
Anakin was looking back and forth between his padawan and his master. He couldn't let either of them die, and he wasn't going to let them. He stuck his hands out toward the birds and focused. The sky began to turn from the light blue that it was, to the purple you saw last night.
"How the-" Auren got even closer to the window while you just watched with a smile.
Anakin groaned as the sky stopped turning and the stars twinkled in the sky. The birds had dropped their hold on Obi-Wan and Ashoka and backed up toward the walls. They turned back into their human forms while kneeling on the ground.
Anakin stumbled after using so much energy and power. Your reflex was to step toward him, which didn't go unnoticed by Auren.
"Good, good. Only the Chosen one could stop both my children."
Anakin got up and looked at him angrily, "So this was all just a test?"
"More or less. Now come, we must talk."
The Father began to walk but Anakin stayed in place so he stopped. Ashoka and Obi-Wan were walking toward him and he waited for them.
"Thank you, Anakin." Obi-Wan chuckled and Anakin shook his head.
"Don't trust him, Master."
"Don't worry, Snips, I won't."
They smiled at each other before Anakin walked with the father into a doorway under the window. Even though your first instinct was to run to Anakin, you needed to see what happened to Ashoka and Obi-Wan.
The Daughter and the other guy escorted them in through the same door. But they took a different path once inside. Now that everyone was safe, for the most part, you had to get to Anakin.
Running to the door, you grabbed the handle and tried to pull it open.
"Master? What are you doing?" She ran over to you but the door wouldn't budge.
"Help me open these," You strained but it was no use. Neither of you could get them open.
In defeat, you banged one fist on the door as you slid down to sit.
"What's so urgent?"
You looked up at her, about you say nothing, but she saw through you.
"Sit with me." She sat, "I don't want Anakin talking to the Father."
"Why? Because of the test?"
"Well yeah, but there's something else."
"What, Master? You can tell me."
Placing your head in your hands, you could feel Auren's gaze on you.
"When I was thrown off the cliff, I woke up here. Later, I talked with the Father and he told me some things."
"What things?"
"He told me the reason I'm powerful with the force and no one in my family is. He told me that he and his daughter manipulated midiclorians to create me, as they did with Anakin."
"So you're also a Chosen one?"
"Not exactly," You looked up at her in her confused state, "They felt that because of Anakins past, there's a chance that something bad could happen."
"Like, him going to the dark side?"
"Exactly, and they knew that if he turned he would be too powerful for the Jedi to handle. So they created me, to kill him if needed."
"Oh, that's a lot."
"Yeah. That's why I don't want them talking, I wanted to tell Anakin. So maybe he won't react badly to it. Or he will and he'll just lash out at me, not someone else."
"You're willing to take the blame for something that isn't your fault?"
"If it means he stays a Jedi, then yeah, of course."
"He must mean a lot to you, doesn't he?"
"You have no idea."
She chuckled, "So, when's the wedding?"
"Well," Your face turned red again, "We don't know yet, he just proposed before we left."
"Was it sweet?" She was smiling and you were too.
"Yeah, it was."
You held out your hand with the ring on it. Auren stared at it for a second before smiling at you.
"It's beautiful. Are you happy?"
"Happier than I've ever been."
"Good."
She rested her head on your shoulder and you placed your head on hers. The room was filled with silence but the comfortable kind, yet you couldn't sleep. You could tell Auren was asleep so you didn't move. You just sat there, staring at the window.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After sitting for about 45 minutes, you sense something at the door. So you move Auren so that her head is on your lap. Before you could move, the door opened and you fell onto your back.
Groaning you opened your eyes, "Anakin?"
"Y/n? What are you doing on the floor?" He chuckled.
"Very funny, I wasn't on the floor before you put me here." He just laughed as you looked at him, "How was your talk with the Father?"
"Not good, he wants me to stay here."
Your eyes widened, "You're not though, right?"
"No, I wouldn't leave you like that. But come on, we're leaving this place."
Smiling, you sat up and woke up Auren.
"Come on Sparks, wake up."
"Master?"
"We're leaving."
She opened her eyes all the way, "Finally."
She sat up, stretched, and then stood up. She gave you a hand and you used it to stand up as well. Then she saw Anakin and raised her eyebrows. Looking at you, she smirked and nudged your shoulder. You just shook your head and walked out the door.
"So when's the-"
"Auren, shhh."
"What? I was just asking."
Anakin chuckled, knowing exactly what she was doing.
"Yeah Y/n, when are we doing this?"
"Anakin," You looked up at him and pointed, but you couldn't say anything.
"C'mon Angel, insult me."
"Angel?"
You sighed, "You two are insane."
"No, we're not." They both said in sync before smirking at one another.
"Jinx!"
As you kept walking, Auren was just talking behind you while Anakin laughed.
"Oooooh, Angel," She mocked in a low voice, "Oooooooh... Wait Master what's his nickname?"
"Skyguy, of course." You smirked and Anakin sighed.
"But if he's Skyguy wouldn't you be Skygirl?"
Anakin smiled and you just smirked at him, "Not yet, I'm still Y/n Kryze."
"Wait, have you told Satine?"
"Ohh, no." You looked at Anakin and he shrugged, "We haven't told anyone, we can't really."
"So you were just gonna get married without a bridesmaid?"
"Why, would you like to be my bridesmaid?"
