Shu!
Gang Heng nearly coughed up blood when he saw the sea of lightning spears barrelling towards him at extreme speeds.
Aren’t you too heartless!?
****
Eeeengh!
Boom! Boom!
The lightning spears shrieked at a whistling pitch as they cut through the air, causing it to explode several times before they appeared in an instant before Gang Heng!
He could only use his sabre as a shield to block his most exposed vital areas before…
B-B-B-B-B-Bam!
The lightning spears smashed into Gang Heng with unending ferocity!
The shockwaves were so strong that Long Di erected an additional layer of protection with a spiritual qi shield. Just his qi armour wasn’t alone to stave off these shockwaves!
He didn’t want to go too far as he wanted to end Gang Heng here and now if the latter was still alive.
Luckily, it was just him and Gang Heng here for now. Everyone else had vacated the area since those nitu demons had performed their Terra Seize.
“Wait a minute.”
He looked down and saw where the Terra Seize was still active and the nitu demons struggling to maintain it.
“Why are they still…”
B-Bam!
The last of the lightning spears landed on Gang Heng, causing Long Di to turn around in a rush to cut down the bronze seat of the iron Body Forget Sect.
“Crap.”
When everyone saw the Bronze Seat, they sucked in a breath of cold air. Not even the nitu demons could help themselves from being stunned by this.
But no one could blame them because the state of Bronze Seat Heng was too gruesome to ignore.
The latter’s body was riddled with holes of all sizes. Blood ran from them in rivers as a powerful destructive intent fought against his natural regenerative abilities.
The most graphic thing was the hole that appeared in his mask and continued through the side of his lower jaw, taking the skin, teeth and all else with it.
You’d think it was impossible, but he looked even uglier than before.
Long Di couldn’t continue his earlier plan of attacking when he saw Bronze Seat Heng. Part of the reason was because the latter was too ugly, but the other part of it was because Gang Heng’s current stance didn’t act as just a defence, it could also seamlessly switch to an offensive if needed.
So Long Di had to abandon that plan, but now he just stood there staring at Gang Heng whose current state was his handiwork.

The body cultivator was looking at Long Di with unrestrained hatred, and he trembled with the killing intent he struggled to contain.
“Y-You!”
“Before you say anything,” Long Di rushed to explain himself as he held his index finger up.
“Allow me to preface all of this by saying… that I slipped.”
Bronze Seat Heng’s brain shorted out before he found himself spitting out in a whisper. “What?”
“The lightning spears…” Long Di gestured with his hands. “I slipped.”
“You… slipped?”
“That’s right.”
“You slipped, and you slipping resulted in lightning spears?”
“Exactly. You know that moment you’re walking on the street, you trip and fall and then bam, lightning spears.”
A palpable silence descended before Gang Heng broke it by making a reasonable request.
“Just die,” Bronze Seat Heng said way more calmly than anyone could give him credit for.
Long Di continuously nodded his head as if in understanding. “I can see where you’re coming from. Counteroffer, though. I don’t die… and we pray.”
For a moment, everyone forgot who were the bullies here.
Even Yaomu Shou had to admit that she kinda felt sorry for Bronze Seat Heng.
“Aaargh!”
Gang Heng roared and flew towards Long Di in a rage with his sabre ready for a slash!
This brat had caused him to lose out time and time again!
“You could’ve said no,” Long Di replied.
“Kill!”
Bronze Seat Heng brandished a very familiar-looking bronze sabre before bringing it across to cleave Long Di in two!
His somatic essence circulated at an insane rate driving his power to new heights!
The sky shook under his power while the void quivered continuously around him.
He didn’t even care about the considerable injuries that bedevilled him right now. All that mattered was Long Di’s death!
Right now, the latter could feel the space twisting around him, slowing his actions.
“So you’re forcing a head-on clash.” Long Di wasn’t dumb. He knew what Bronze Seat Heng wanted.
He didn’t have time to dodge and could only defend!
Bam!
The two sabres collided, sending a wave of lightning qi and somatic essence spewing out in all directions!
“Ack!”
Long Di coughed up a mouthful of blood, blocking this strike.
‘It’s a spiritual artefact now?’
Long Di was inwardly shocked at the bronze sabre’s strength. It wasn’t nearly this heavy or powerful when he used it back then!
In addition, Gang Heng’s raw strength wasn’t something he could compare to. He was using spiritual qi goddamn it.

“Hmph! It’s different isn’t it!?” sneered Bronze Seat Heng.
Of course, Long Di didn’t give anything away with this face, but Gang Heng knew the former wasn’t expecting an equal clash in weapons.
“That worthless Bronze Seat that held the seat before I did was weak and an embarrassment to the Metal Seats. As soon as I gained the position, I made sure to get a new bronze sabre forged that was worthy of my power!”
All Metal Seats had their own weapons, but they had to have one that matched their station and equalled their contribution to the sect.
The previous Bronze Seat had only gotten his position due to connections within the sect. His power was far from being qualified to hold the Bronze Seat, but there was nothing anyone could do about it.
After a while, the Bronze Seat had become synonymous with weakness, and no one took it seriously. Even the accompanying seat holder, the Copper Seat, wanted nothing to do with him.
This all changed when Gang Heng showed up. His bloodthirsty demeanour wrested respect and fear from those who had withheld it.
The strength behind Bronze Seat Heng’s strike was much stronger than Long Di’s. After all, Long Di wasn’t using somatic essence, he was relying purely on his spiritual cultivation.
This was one of the benefits of body cultivation. Overwhelming strength!
It was an incomparably painful path to walk, but the benefits of it in a fight couldn’t be understated.
Because of this, Gang Heng was continuously pushing Long Di down.
Long Di struggled to fight gang Heng back, but the latter’s sabre locked him in place for now. “Ugh. So that’s it.”
Gang Heng revealed a savage grin. “You’ve just noticed!? A bit too late, now!”
As Long Di was being forced back, he felt a familiar force encroach upon him.
The dim glow of the ground was getting brighter and brighter the closer he got. He could actually feel the Terra Seize’s intent to strip him of his earth esse.
Of course, Long Di wasn’t fully defeated either. The sabre he imbued with his sabre intent was trying its absolute best to break down Gang Heng’s bronze sabre.
The latter’s saving grace was that his bronze sabre was constantly being infused with his somatic essence, so it could stave off Long Di’s sabre intent for now.
He knew if he let up that Long Di’s sabre intent may damage his sabre and cut him down.
Long Di’s eleven-year-old muscles bulged, but the strength his spiritual qi granted him was minuscule compared to Gang Heng’s somatic essence.
He soon discarded the cover of lightning that covered him from view all this time, prompting a gasp from everyone that saw him.
“Looks like there’s a price to pay for that strength of yours!” Gang Heng said when he saw the cracks all over Long Di’s body.
Yaomu Shou and the others covered their mouths in shock as tears filled their eyes when they saw his current state. Yet his unfaltering eyes gave them hope that he would find a way out of this.
D-D-D-Dum!
“What!?”
Suddenly, a massive pressure unfurled that crashed on Gang Heng like a tsunami.
The speed of his cauldrons’ rotation slowed and the circulation speed of his somatic essence fell as well.
“I keep forgetting about cauldron suppression.” Long Di whispered under his breath.
Gang Heng was caught off guard by this and Long Di took advantage of his lapse and temporary inability to adapt to great effect!
He knocked Gang Heng’s sabre back and wheeled the sabre in a flurry, stabbing it through one of the holes and tearing it through Gang Heng’s body!
“Ah!”
Pu Ci!
Blood sprayed like a fountain as Long Di cut through Gang Heng’s body, tearing him through from the side of his neck all the way to his waist.
The hand that held the sabre fell to the ground in a thud and the earth esse was being sucked from it.
While the sabre was fine, the arm actually started breaking down as it lay there.
The nitu demons dispelled the technique as Gang Heng wasn’t able to get Long Di on it.
However, Long Di wasn’t done here. He stabbed his sabre straight through Gang Heng. He wanted to kill him immediately.
Pu Ci!
Blood splashed as Long Di’s sabre was buried firmly in Gang Heng’s body.
“You!”
“Say hi to King Yama for me,” was Long Di’s sole response before his sabre trembled and the lightning erupted to tear Gang Heng apart!
“Stop!”
A voice filled with boundless pressure extended out. The focus of it was of course Long Di and it disoriented him, but he grit his teeth and forced the eruption of his energy!
Bronze Seat Heng felt it as his eyes widened.
“No!”
Bam!
