Maya took all the pups to their room and kept them busy with fun activities. She knew that whatever these people came for had to be serious and the pups were probably not supposed to be present.

Arin and Jungkook had already knelt down while they waited for Taehyung and Jimin to come out.

Jimin on the other hand was running downstairs in full force. He would rip Jungkook's head off and if Arin tried to defend her irresponsible son, he'd beat the shit out of her too. Not even Taehyung could stop a feral Jimin as he ran after the Omega.

Jimin entered the living room and headed towards Jungkook, sharp fangs all bared for attack. The Omega was about to pounce on Jungkook but Arin got in the way and took whatever Jimin wanted to do to her son. She'd get beaten, scratched, even killed just to keep her son alive.

Jimin sunk his claws into Arin's arms and scratched her, drawing a large amount of blood from the female Omega's skin.

Taehyung wanted to stop him but he decided to let his Omega handle the matter. Apart from the scene taking place before Taehyung, the Alpha seemed to have noticed something strange in the young boy kneeling down. He looked rather familiar and Taehyung couldn't just place where he had seen that face before.

Arin took it all, the bites and the scratches and Jungkook kept pleading for Jimin to let go.

"Please let my mum go. She didn't do anything. Punish me instead". The teenager cried, scared that Jimin might just kill his mother.

Jimin hates the young Alpha's guts. How dare the dirty disgusting rogue have the mouth to talk after raping his son. Jimin's head snapped up and he let go of Arin to face Jungkook. The boy was trembling as he got ready to receive his own share of the attack. Jimin was about to pounce on him but Taehyung held the Omega back, hugging him tightly from the back to stop him from attacking a kid. No matter what happened, Jungkook was still a kid and they could even get in trouble if they hit a young wolf.

"Baby that's enough!" Taehyung spoke calmly into the Omega's ears.

Jimin struggled to get away from the Alpha but Taehyung was way stronger than the Omega and wouldn't let go until Jimin calmed down. In the struggle to launch himself on Jungkook, Jimin caught the young Alpha's face and a very striking resemblance came into view. A rush of nostalgia, the feeling of coming face to face with a past not forgotten, a sudden remembrance of important days filled Jimin's mind. He stopped struggling and remained still in his mate's hold. Jimin stared at Jungkook as if he had seen a ghost and truthfully, he thought he did see a ghost except for the clear reality that Jungkook was young and could in no way be the same person as Jimin's late friend JK.

The living room suddenly became quiet. Arin had no idea what was going on, she was on the verge of losing consciousness while Jungkook kept his eyes on the floor even as he wondered why Taemin's Mama had become quiet all of a sudden.

"Where is your Alpha father?" Jimin asked.

"Huh?" Jungkook looked up at Jimin and the omega almost lost his balance if not for Taehyung holding him. He could clearly see Jk in Jungkook.

"Jk". Jimin whispered and his lips wobbled as tears threatened to fall from his eyes. The young Alpha looked exactly like JK. He couldn't explain how it was possible but the only difference between Jk and Jungkook was that Jungkook was younger and had his mother's hair color.

"Yes, I knew I had seen this face somewhere". Taehyung almost yelled as he remembered who else had the striking resemblance to the young Alpha.

"He...he is my father b...but he passed". Jungkook stuttered, he was surprised but more afraid.

"JK is your father?" Jimin asked, pulling away from his mate, he slowly walked to Jungkook and crouched down to the young Alpha's height.

"Please don't kill my son, kill me instead". Arin could hear the interaction but even in her weak state, she'd not let any harm get to her son. She'd protect Jungkook until her last breath.

Taehyung and Jimin shared a look, eyes wide and mouth hung open in shock. This boy who had raped their son happened to be the son of their friend. The same Alpha who helped Jimin when things were difficult. The same Alpha who encouraged Taehyung to return to his Omega and pups. JK, the good and selfless alpha who didn't let his love for Jimin blind him. He gave up his feelings just for Taehyung to make amends, to make things right.

Above all, JK helped Jimin to deliver Taemin. The Alpha literally brought out Taemin to the world with his bare hands.

The Alpha and Omega became confused about fate. Why would destiny reunite them with JK in this horrible and ugly manner. What Jungkook did was unacceptable but looking back at history, Jimin would never have it in his heart to hurt Jk's family. He would never do that but what other way to punish the boy.

"Sit on the couch". Jimin finally spoke. Pointing at the couch closest to Jungkook.

"Huh?" Jungkook asked.

"He said you should sit down". Taehyung told the young Alpha.

They helped Arin to lay down on the couch and then everyone settled down, staring at each other in confusion. Especially Arin and Jungkook who had no idea why the couple suddenly calmed down.

Jimin was sobbing uncontrollably into his mate's chest. Old wounds had been opened again and it hurt so bad to think about a friend like Jk who died unjustly. Jimin feared going back to the days when he used to cry, when he felt immense pain and agony. Those days when his only comfort was JK. Just when it looked like life was getting better, another tragedy started and now his son had to bear such heartbreak from the son of someone close to his heart.

Does life get any better or do people just get stronger?

"Your father, JK was my best friend. You are nothing like him but for his sake, I will give you the chance to spend the rest of your life feeling sorry for what you did to my son". Jimin said with tears falling down his cheeks. He didn't bother wiping the tears as he wanted Jungkook and his mother to see for themselves how hurt he was.

"You knew my husband?" Arin asked weakly.

"Jk is Taemin's godfather, brought him out with his own hands...he was my best friend". Jimin looked up at his Alpha with big pitiful eyes, wanting to be held and comforted. His wolf was restless and circled around the Alpha for comfort and protection.

Taehyung knew just what to do. He could sense the Omega's distress and if not for the visitors, he'd be carrying Jimin like a child, petting his head and licking his wolf. Taehyung held his Omega's hand, gently scenting him and assuring him of his presence.

Arin didn't know where she got the strength from but the mention of her late Alpha seemed to peak her interest and she sat up to listen to Jimin. It was a no brainier that Jimin was the same Omega who Jk loved. The same Omega who made JK not to love her back the same way she loved him. Jimin was the same Omega who Jk gave his heart to and eventually died for.

Jimin killed her mate. That had been Arin's mindset since JK died and she vowed that if she ever found that Omega, she'd revenge. Now she found Jimin in a crucial situation like this and she has no idea who should feel sorry for the other.

Taehyung finally decided to take the lead in the matter as the oldest and head Alpha among all. He knew about Jk's love for Jimin and he had prevented it before Jimin could find out but for all that Jungkook had passed through and for the painful death he suffered for their sake, Taemin and Jungkook's case might be a way for the universe to return the pains Arin felt to Jimin and Taehyung.

"I know you feel we are even now that we are feeling pains. After all, you must be thinking we killed your mate". Taehyung spoke his mind directly to Arin.

The woman only stared at him but deep in her mind, she felt that Jimin deserved more pain for causing the death of her mate. She wouldn't say it out loud for the sake of her son but indeed she thought the couple deserved every pain they felt.

"Don't say it like that Sir. I and my son still plead for mercy and if your friendship with his father can influence your decisions to forgive him, then I will forever be grateful". Arin said.

"You must apologise to my son in person and if he forgives you then we will forgive you too". Taehyung spoke and Jimin nodded in agreement.

"I will never forgive him!" Taemin suddenly entered the living room. He was tired, hair disheveled, eyes red and swollen and worst of all, he was limping all because of Jungkook.

Jimin rushed to hold his son and Taehyung followed immediately, ignoring Jungkook and his mother to attend to their son. Jungkook stood from the couch and tried going close to Taemin but the young Omega bared his fangs for the first time in his life and Arin was quick to draw Jungkook back to avoid getting attacked by the angry Omega.

"You and your mother should get out of my house this minute. I never want to see you as long as you live". Taemin barked despite the tears that rushed down his face as he yelled.

"I didn't mean to do it Tae, believe me". Jungkook got on his knees again with his hands clasped as he begged genuinely.

"I hate you, I hate the day I met you. I hate the day I accepted you and let you come into my life. I hate you and I wish you die just like your rogue father!"

I have some drama planned for Taemin and Jungkook but if I come up with an alternative then I'll change it.
