《DBD oneshots》36 - Popstar (The Shape x The Trickster)

Michael was scrolling through Instagram, ever since Danny introduced him to it he's been kind of addicted. He even posts a few times, mainly because he makes his own masks and shows them off on Instagram. He is scrolling when he comes across a rather eye catching person.
He has blue hair, and the most piercing yellow eyes. Michael decided to watch the reel. When the thing started playing, he heard a beautiful voice come from the bluenette. "My parents sold me to a preacher, now I miss my mom and dad." Michael was hooked already.
"I heard they joined a cult, they say 'mass suicidal death'." Michael loved the way his voice sounded. "I'm locked inside this church. They say the prophecy's foretold." Michael watches as the piercing eyes seem to stare at him. "Strapped to the alter, I'm the sacrifice they owe~"
The video cut off. Michael looked at the name of the person who made it. The username said 'Trick_Star'. Michael hit it, and spent a while looking at photos and reels and liking just about all of them. He then hit the follow button and left it at that.
He decided to make a post on his recently made mask. It was black on half and white on the other. It had red around both eyes, and paired with his jet black contacts, he took a photo and posted it. After a few minutes, the post was blowing up. Michael looked at all the likes, how can that be possible? He just posted it.
He looked through the 50 comment there was so far, one catching his eye.
Trick_Star Amazing! You are great at making these! I seen all your other posts, and they were awesome!
Ghostyboi replied HOLY SHIT MICHAEL HOW DID YOU GET A POPSTAR TO COMMENT?!
He looked at all the other comments before liking just that one.
AxeThrower Amazing like always dude.
ELECTRIC!_BOOGIE How do you even make these?
4facedasshole Man, you gotta make me a mask sometime.
Ghostyboi Awesome man! It looks so cool with those contacts!
Those were only the ones from his friends, he doesn't know any other of the people who commented. A notification popped up on his phone. It was a message from someone. He looked at his Instagram messages and sees a new one. From Trick_Star.

He opened it up.

You look amazing I'm those masks. Love the contacts and art. You make awesome artwork with those masks.
Yeah, I saw you liked my posts. All of them. Stalker much?
Nah, it's fine. I wonder though, what do you look like without those masks?
Don't say that. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.
You look great in those masks. I bet you would look even better without it. ;)
Michael paused. Should he do it? He never would for anyone else. But he feels as if he can trust the stranger.
Opened.
Hot ;)
Michael flushed. He has never been called that before. He liked this person. They are honest, like, very honest. He kind of liked it.
So, Stabby, what's your actual name? I'm Ji-woon.
Nice name. Where do you live?
Reasons.
Michael knew he shouldn't give his name out to a stranger, but he felt as if he could trust this guy.
Cool. I'm actually going there for my next concert.
Ji-woon knew it was a lie. He may or may not have already been in Haddonfield, you know, just getting info on Michael. He has a plan, to say he has a concert, show up at Michael's place, then say it was canceled.
Few days. I'm already in Haddonfield. I just arrived.
I'll let you in free, since I already like you.
Ji-woon smiles. Now time to get his address.
I do need a place to stay.
Got it. Thank you!
Ji-woon smiles as he approaches the address. He won't make an appearance until tomorrow, but a little bit of stalking won't hurt. He crouched down in a bush in front of the house. He looks inside the window, and he sees a tall man standing over a table making something.
Ji-woon watches as the man puts the object somewhere else, and starts cleaning up what looks like paint. He smiles. This is the right house. The man then turns around, and Ji-woon almost squealed. Michael was even hotter than his photo!
Michael on the other hand, couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. He knew it wasn't Danny, he was busy today. So who was it? He never thought that a stalker would be stalked. He almost laughed at that thought. He walks over to his window and looks out, seeing no one. He shrugs it off, maybe he was just imagining it. He looked at the time, decideing that it would be best if he got some sleep.

Ji-woon watches Michael walk up the stairs and into another room. He climbs up the backside of the house hoping that was the right room. It was. He was able to see Michael changing. He grins at the sight, his face tinted red. He watches the brute climb into a bed, and that's when Ji-woon decides to climb down and wait. He hops down, walking to a bush under a tree, and waiting. He doesn't need sleep, I mean, who does?
The morning came, and Michael was awoken by a knock on door. He yawns and sees it's 9 in the morning. He worders why someone is here this early. He yawns and stretches, his bones cracking as he slowly makes his way out of bed and downstairs.
He comes to the door, and he opens it. He was met with a very pleasant surprise at the door. "Hey, I was worried this was the wrong house!" Ji-woon had to play it off like he had no idea that Michael lived here.
Michael stood there for a moment, before motion for Ji-woon to come in. "You're taller than I thought. You're like, 6 foot!" Ji-woon exclaims, his hands going out in an exaterating motion. Michael laughs, a low rumble, but it can be identified as a laugh. "So, sorry to come here so early, but turns out my concert was cancelled, due to recent murders in the area." Not a total lie, but mostly a lie.
"Personally, I wouldn't mind it." Michael turned around, looking at him surprised. He tilted his head at the popstar. "Murder is interesting, and if a popstar is holding a concert where recent murders are, there will be more people. Unsuspecting people." Michael smirks slightly, almost going unnoticed.
There was a moment of silence before Ji-woon spoke up. "So I guess you're not a talker?" Michael shake his head. "Well, lucky for you, I do a lot of talking." Michael nods, and motions for Ji-woon to follow. He takes him up the stairs and to a room opposite of his. He motions Ji-woon inside.
"Thank you, Mikey." Michael smiles. He reminds him so much of Danny. One question pops into his head. Where is all of Ji-woon's stuff? Michael pulls out his phone and pulls up Instagram.
Ji-woon looks at his phone as soon as it dings. "Oh, I left it with my co-workers, thinking that they would arrive here and I could meet them, but since eveything got canceled, I don't have anything but my phone." Michael nods.
Ji-woon nods. Borrowing clothes from a big brute? Hell yeah. "Thanks. That would be nice. Michael nods and walks out, returning moments later with some clothing in his hands. He sets the clothing down and walls our, shitting the door to give Ji-woon some privacy.
Ji-woon took his time when changing, removing his makeup, brushing his hair, all that stuff. He slid the t-shirt that Michael provided on, and he laughed. It swallowed him. He slipped on the pants, that luckily had drawstrings, and he looked in a mirror conveniently placed in the room. He was pretty comfortable. And he looked good in black, he found out.
He walks out of the room, and down the stairs. He sees Michael in the dinning room with paint and a mask in front of him. He sneaks up behind the brute, tapping him on the shoulder. Michael jumped slightly, then turned around and relaxed when he saw Ji-woon.
"Whatcha doin'?" He asks. And Michael points to the mask, then to the paint. Ji-woon nods. "Cool. Can I help?" Michael stood there for a moment, before slowly nodding. Michael walks into another room, and comes back with a fox mask. "Thank you, Mikey."
Michael grabbed an extra paint brush and some water for Ji-woon. They were pretty much just painting in silence, until they heard a loud crash come from the room next to them. Ji-woon was the first to get up to investigate, then Michael a little after.
Ji-woon was met with a person in a ghostface mask laying on the floor of the living room underneath an open window. The stranger, upon hearing footsteps, didn't even look up, only lay there and nervously laugh. "Sorry Michael, you know me, always trying to sneak in. Didn't think the door was unl-" When he looked up, he froze.
"MICHAEL! WHY DO YOU HAVE A FAMOUS POPSTAR IN YOUR HOUSE?!"

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction.
