《Another World Trip: Journey with My Cat and an Otaku Loli Goddess》Chapter 264 - Absolute Limit

“Well?” Long Di hefted his sabre and rested it on his shoulder. “Who else?”
****
No one understood what was happening here. Were martial grandmasters so cheap nowadays?
Did they miss the last sale again!?
“H-His aura!”
Someone noticed something strange and raised a trembling finger at Long Di.
Everyone focused on this and realised that Long Di’s aura was rising at a frightening pace!
It passed the initial four-star-core power he came here with and was now traversing the chasm separating the nine-star-core from the cauldron core flame fusion realm!
Not only that, but Long Di was able to kill a martial grandmaster despite not yet being in the core flame fusion realm yet!
Obviously, this was not Long Di’s true cultivation base, but it cemented the fact that he would be able to do so when he does reach this cultivation realm in the future did it not?
What sort of power was this!?
When Long Di’s gaze landed on Bronze Seat Heng, the latter’s hair didn’t just stand on end, they up and flew away.
Instantly, Bronze Seat Heng reacted.
“He’s using a technique to forcibly raise his cultivation realm! Since he killed one of us, we can now attack without scruples!”
Shu!
Hearing this, most of the regular powers acted and rushed for Long Di at the same time.
This was shameless as could be, as that martial grandmaster was the first person to attack Long Di while he was only defending himself.
However, no one cared about this and only wanted a reason to act. If they could seize a medium-grade spiritual vein root, their level of wealth would instantly overshadow even the most powerful of the ten great sects, the Ice Phoenix Hall!
After all, a single medium-grade spirit stone was worth a thousand regular spirit stones. So the same could be said for the spiritual vein root, right?
Bam!
Long Di’s aura spiked a great deal as he entered the cauldron core flame fusion realm!
Shu!
At that moment, two second fusion martial grandmasters came up behind Long Di to take him down.
Krrrsh!
P-Poof!
Two lightning spears immediately formed that shot off and blasted these two elders apart!
Long Di’s lightning spear was a self-created martial technique that took his lightning qi and compressed it to the extreme!
Combine that with Long Di’s already exceptionally pure spiritual qi courtesy of his perverted cauldron and cores and it would be weird if they could survive.
‘How long can I stay in this state?’ Long Di asked the Destiny Scale.

[My divine energy was not meant for this kind of thing. Prolonged usage will damage your foundation. With your cauldrons, I would say about an incense stick’s worth of time.]
‘Let’s say I don’t know how long it takes for an incense stick to burn.’
He considered it odd that he didn’t know how long it took for an incense stick to burn. Even weirder was that the need to know this never came up even when he was in Thundercloud City with his family.
[Roughly fifteen minutes. Maybe a little longer, but I can’t be sure. Your cauldrons aren’t exactly common as I’m sure you know.]
Long Di nodded in understanding.
The current situation was set in stone back when everyone was talking about Long Di like he wasn’t even in the room. He asked the Destiny Scale if it had a way out for them both.
Though it was reluctant, it did tell Long Di it could lend him some of its divine energy for his own use. Though it did come with its own risk.
After further discussion, it agreed to lend Long Di some of its divine energy, but that Long Di had to share a portion of his next lightning punishment with it. Of course, Long Di agreed with zero hesitation.
He couldn’t allow Yaomu Shou to be in an even worse standing with her own family.
He was already a villain in their eyes, so he might as well cement that fact.
Bang!
His aura grew a notch as he entered the second fusion. Two of his cauldrons had their star core burning furiously within. Pure lightning energy bellowed from his cauldrons like furious geysers!
The sheer magnitude of its power caused fear to emerge in many experts’ hearts.
Just how much stronger was he able to grow!?
Bronze Seat Heng didn’t know how much stronger Long Di would get, but this had now left his comfort zone. He didn’t want a repeat of what happened last time.
He turned to his allies and neutral powers alike and announced.
“Everyone, since the royal family has decided to give up this chance, my Iron Body Forge Sect will step up! Only certain powers can hold on to something like this. If you help me take down this brat. I-I will make sure the Iron Body Forge Sect shares the benefit of the spiritual vein root with all of you!”
The rest of the experts across the spatial displacement couldn’t make out what he was saying because of the mask. However, they found it odd that so many people were grouping up to take the spiritual vein root from Long Di.

Were they all planning to share the thing!?
Or was there more to this than meets the eye?
The demons didn’t care about this. They only cared about what Bronze Seat Heng just said.
They would share the benefits of the medium-grade spiritual vein root with them.
Instantly, the rest of the powers that had little reservations about taking action against Long Di immediately laid them to rest.
To them, this was the best-case scenario.
These other powers knew they didn’t have the ability to keep something like this, either but the allure was just too strong. However, since the Iron Body Forge Sect made such a promise, they didn’t need to think about it too much.
They also knew that Bronze Seat Heng couldn’t take this back. As one of the Metal Seats of the Iron Body Forge Sect, he could make decisions on behalf of the sect once it was reasonable.
Plus in front of so many powers, he had to keep his word.
Bronze Seat Heng didn’t regret this either. Even if he did manage to take the spiritual vein root for the Iron Body Forge Sect, paper lanterns can’t hide fire and word would get out that they had a medium-grade spiritual vein root. The Iron Body Forge Sect would be under siege from multiple powers looking to grow.
This way, not only was he increasing his chance to seize the spiritual vein root from Long Di, but he was also gaining a few bodyguards in those that were benefiting from it.
Maybe the Iron Body Forge Sect couldn’t handle a legion of powers descending on it from all over, but they could do so if they had a legion of powers of their own.
D-D-D-Dum!
Multiple explosions rang out as cauldrons of varying grades arose.
Bronze Seat Heng was ecstatic by the great sway one of the ten great sects held and felt more at ease now when facing Long Di. Obviously, the shadow Long Di left in his heart last time was quite dark.
He then looked down at Long Di and spoke, “Brat! Hand over the spiritual vein root and maybe we can leave you with an intact corpse!”
For this, Long Di only had one response. “Make me.”
“Impudent fool! Attack!”
At his command, Long Di was immediately beset by not just first and second fusion martial grandmasters. Even those at the fourth fusion up to the sixth fusion joined in the fray.
The pressure Long Di immediately faced multiplied, but even then his power still rose as it was approaching the limits of the second fusion realm!
Krrrsh!
His sabre began a dance as it cut through martial grandmasters one after the other.
One elder caused the ground to swallow Long Di up when the lightning around his body exploded outwards tearing the earth apart!
He forged a lightning spear before willing it to fly towards that elder!
Bang!
Two experts were able to stop it before it could do any more damage, but this was their undoing as Long Di was already upon them!
Vrrrm!
Long Di’s sabre hummed with a chilling destructive intent that compounded on what the lightning wrought itself before he swung it sideways, cleaving these two experts apart!
“Sabre intent!” Bronze Heng was shocked that Long Di managed to comprehend sabre intent and at such a young age at that!
The more powerful experts hadn’t made it to Long Di just yet, but he was much closer than they were.
He flew towards Long Di in a hurry, wanting to end him here and now!
Shing!
Bronze Seat Heng’s palm released a bright bronze glow as he charged towards Long Di.
The latter saw this and dashed into a crowd of martial grandmasters!
“Bastard!” cursed Bronze Seat Heng as he pulled back his attack at the last moment.
“I got him! Hey!”
“Stop moving so much!”
“Are you trying to help him!?”
“Everyone just calm down an- Ow! Who hit me!?”
None of the martial grandmasters that comprised the group Long Di had dashed off into could stop him. Because they were all crowded trying to get to him all at once they were unable to act as freely as they would like to.
Of course, this didn’t apply to Long Di. He attacked the weaker martial grandmasters every chance he got. Every swing of this blade took a life.
Blood stained the ground and splashed on Long Di’s face, but he remained unfazed in his mission to kill as many as he could.
He was a reaper of souls and the martial grandmasters were beginning to feel true fear from this child. He was a demon far more than them!
Boom!
His aura grew once again as he entered the third fusion. The power coursing through his veins thrilled him, and he wished he could stay in this realm forever.
The crazy thing was, his power was still rising crazily!
Profound Myriad Heavenseize physique on!
Hong!

Oublivant
Oublivants: a category of dungeons characterised by the antithesis of life, necrosis. "Dungons as a whole tend towards the lethal side when it comes to exploring them; however, an oublivant actively seeks out destruction on a grand scale. No greater example of their deep hatred for life exists than the very first discovery of an oublivant. It was a massive dungeon spanning miles in all directions. GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
