Vegas pov:

Pa asked me to join him in the Christine's funeral. I was getting ready to go there when Pete called me. Since Yesterday's morning, i was waiting for his reply. Neither he came at beach nor did he read my texts or attended the calls.

Pete sounded worried when he called me. I picked my cars keys and I was about to leave the mansion when Pa shouted my name.

Kan:" Vegas, Where are you going?"

V:" Pa , I had to go to meet a friend. It's urgent."

Kan:" I already told you that you have to come with me. That's urgent too. You know he's our ....."

V:" I know Pa . But it's just a funeral. And you know that i never liked Christine. He's a total show off. So what's my point in going there? Uncle Yam is your friend. So it's important for you to go. And if you want you can take Macau with you. He's busy in playing mobile games all day . Just take him with you."

Macau:" I'm already going with him. And what do you mean that i only played games? Huh?"

Kan:" Yeah you two, be quiet. Vegas, Do you really have something important right now?"

V:" Hmmm."

Kan : " Ok, then. I am going with Macau for now. Come immediately at the funeral as soon as you finished your meeting."

V:" Ok Pa "

Then i went to Major mansion . The mansion was so quite. Everyone might have gone at Christine's house. I reached to Pete's room. I knocked the door and he opened it. His eyes were swollen and red As if he cried for many hours. And the way he looked at me , it seems so different. It looked like he was forcing a smile 🥲.

I close the door and sit on the couch beside him.

V:" What happened Pete?"

P:" Did you get the news about Christine?😥"

V:" Yes. So?"

P:" Khun Yam might be so angry at the one who killed his son. What if he ordered his men to look for the that person?😥"

V:" Are you worried because of that?"

P:" Yes, you know that Khun Korn respects him so much . He is going to kill me if he came to know that I was the one who killed his friends son."

V:" Don't worry Pete. He will never be able to find out about us. I had already erased all the evidence. And no one will doubt us as they think that we were in Italy when this incident happened."

He was stressed because of fear of being caught. I gave him assurance and calmed down him .

P:" I called you because I was worried when I heard that Khun Yam got Christine's dead body. But now I'm fine knowing that now there won't be any trouble. Now you can go, before anyone comes here."

What? First of all he didn't came yesterday. I thought that he must be upset that he missed yesterday's chance .

But now he's asking me to go. He always smile and hugged me whenever he sees me but today he was acting differently.

V;" Did you ask me to come here just for this?🤨"

P:" Yes."🙄

I missed him but it looked like he's trying to ignore me.

I hugged him tightly but he showed no response.

V:" Do you know how much i missed you? Where were you yesterday and why didn't you come? I was waiting for you whole day. I gave so many calls but you received none. You didn't even read the messages."

He pulled away from the hug and shifted backwards.

P:" Oh I'm sorry. Actually it's been so.... many weekends that have gone without meeting you, so i just forgot about it."😅

V:" What you've forgotten about it?"🤨

P:" Yes, I'm sorry."

He was acting like it really doesn't matter if i waited for him for whole day.

V:" What sorry?😠 Do you have any idea how long i waited for you."

P:" I'm sorry. I didn't remember."

V:" Have you seen how many times I called and messaged you?"

P:" Yes i just saw it today in the morning. 🙄"

Why is he acting so wierd today. He always had cheerful personality but today he acted too cold.

P:" Now don't sulk. I'm sorry that I've forgotten. Now you should go."

V:" No, i don't want to. I came to your after so long. And you're alone. I want to spend some time here with you."

I laid down on his bed.

P:" I don't know when Porsche will come. What if he sees us together then there would be problem. I'm sure you don't want him to see us together.🙂 "

Why is he bringing up Porsche now?

V:" No I'm not going anywhere for now. If anyone caught me with you, I'll tell them about us."

P:" What will you tell them?"

V:" About us?"

P:" What about us?"

V:" The truth."

P:" What truth?"

He was talking like he was not sure that i love him.

V:" The truth that we love each other.😏"

P:" Hehe 😅stop kidding. Just go . And yes, take this with you."

This time he smiled so fake. And he gave me the phone that i gave to him so that we can talk.

V:" Why are you giving it to me 🤨?"

P:" I don't need this. And it's of no use to me. I am so afraid what if Porsche finds this phone."

V:" No just keep it with you. I gave it to you so that I can talk with you."

P:" But you know i don't receive the calls and neither text you back. You might be waiting for my reply but it justs waste your time. Because i never reply to you."

V:" But atleast my message reaches to you. Atleast you read them ."

P:" I know that but I don't want to keep it. It's a burden for me. Just take this with you or I'll throw it away."

V:" What? You'll throw it?"

P:" Yes."

There was something that stressed him. But what ?

V:" Ok give this to me. But when you need it , you can ask for it. Till then, I'll keep it with me."

P:"Hmmm. Now you should go ."

He was repeatedly trying to get me out of his room.

V:" Why you want me to go? Earlier you always wanted to meet me. But now what happened to you? Why does it look like you're avoiding me? Are you losing interest in me?"

P:" Earlier it was only me. But now it's Porsche too here. So i don't want to get in trouble. Go"

V:" Ok I'll go. But first give me goodbye kiss.😏"

P:" Just go. I am not in the mood to kiss anyone😓."

V: What do you mean by anyone? It's only me to whom you should kiss."

The sounds of the car were heard. It means that Kinn and everyone has returned.

P:" Vegas just go from here before Porsche sees you with me."

V:" Do you know how much i missed you? How much i waited for you yesterday? You owe me a sorry kiss too . I'm not going until you..... Hmphhhhh."

He quickly gave a peck on my lips.

P:" Go now . Porsche footsteps are coming near ."

V:" Was it sorry kiss or goodbye kiss? It was too quick . I want more.😗"

P:" No. "

Suddenly i heard the opening of the door. I jumped out of Pete's window before Porsche sees me with him.

Pete pov:

Vegas jumped out of the window and he went away. I turned to look at Porsche.

Por:" Aii Pete, Why you look so scared?"

Thank God that he didn't saw me with Vegas.

P:" Ohh , you're here. What happened to Christine? How he died?"

Por:" No idea. Khun Yam only find his dead body. He was saying that he was murdered?"

P:" H..how?"

Por:" Someone shot twice in his head. So it's a murder."

P:" So now? What are they upto?"

Por:" I don't know. Tomorrow there is a meeting. Khun Yam will also join it. Let's see what happens."

I was afraid of what will happen tomorrow. Vegas already assured me that i will be safe. Still i was scared.

The next morning Khun Yam , Khun Kan and Vegas came to the meeting hall of major mansion.

Khun Korn , Kinn, Tankhun, Kim , Porsche, Big and many other Bodyguards were there.

Yam:" I want revenge. I wanted to kill that bastard who killed my child. I won't leave him alive🤬."

Kinn:" Calm down Uncle. First of all we have to find who it is?"

Vegas:" Exactly Uncle Yam and don't worry we'll do our best to find the culprit."

Vegas eyes were staring at me. But i tried to avoid his gaze. Sometimes I also noticed that he and Porsche were sharing glances to each other.

Korn:" Yam , Christine was handling a lot of your business. If you need any help regarding it , you could contact Kinn and Kim. They'll help you."

Kan:" Exactly Yam. And Christine was such a good friend to Vegas. Christine always shares his secrets with him. If you need any help you can contact him too."

Yam:" Thanks Korn and Kan for helping. I'll let you know. But before that i need to find the person who killed my child."

I was worried about being caught. But i calmed myself as Vegas was also incharge of this case.

The meeting got over. I don't want to meet Vegas. So i left the meeting hall immediately as soon as Khun Tankhun left the hall.

I was about to go into my room when Vegas grabbed my hand and then he took me to the store room.

V:" Aii Pete. Why does it feel like you're avoiding me? Did i do something that made you upset with me?"

P:" No , it's not.😓"

V:" Then why? Why you're behaving like a stranger? You returned the phone last time. How could I contact you? And now you're even avoiding my gaze."

P:" You're just overthinking Vegas. There's nothing like that."

V:" Are not going to ask me something related to meeting?"

P:" What i should ask?"

V:" I saw you there. You looked too afraid when uncle Yam said to find out the culprit."

P:" Why ? Don't you think it's normal for me to be afraid when he said that?"

V:" Yes, it's normal. But i want you to relax. No one will suspect us. I am also the incharge of this case. So don't worry i will prove it to them that it was suicide."

P:" What?"

V:" Right now Uncle Yam is stressed because of Christine death. But once i prove that he killed himself, then everything would be fine. So don't worry and relax. 😇"

He looked at me with so much concern. I was doubting myself because the way his eyes look at me. It looked like Yes, he loves me crazily.

V:" Ok listen. My Pa is going tomorrow with Uncle Yam. So you can come tomorrow at night. I'll be waiting for you."

P:" No, i can't come. Tomorrow night i have plans with Khun Tankhun . We are going to watch a drama."

V:" Why? ....... Ok if you are busy tomorrow then let's meet this Weekend. I have something important to tell you?"

P:" What is it? "

V:" I won't tell you here. Meet me on weekend at 10 am near flower shop. Bye.😀"

P:" Wait Vegas! I already told you that i am too busy nowadays. I can't come."

V:" What the hell Pete?🙁 You have time for everything except me? You tell me when you'll be free?"

P:" I don't know when I'll be free."

V:" Should i ask Kinn? I would ask him to take you with me . I had to talk something important related to our Italy trip. He'll allow you to....."

P:" No need to ask for his permission. I'll let you know when I'll be free."

V:" Just tell me now. I want to spend some time with you. It has been so many days. I missed you crazily😣."

I wanted to know how he reacts with what i said. But he only smirked.

P:" You already have so many fuck buddies. Why don't you just call them and ask them to come at your house. They'll be missing you a lot."

He was shouting my name but i kept on walking, to go far away from him.

Vegas pov:

I was worried how Pete was behaving. I was sure that he was avoiding me. But why?

It's been more than a week that I didn't met him. He even returned his phone to me. I lost all my ways to contact him.

I want to meet him so i went to major mansion. I waited for him outside. Earlier he used to come alone, because he knows that i might be waiting for him but now he always came out with his friends group. So i was not able to meet him again.

I was getting frustrated. So I went to meet my friends in bar so that i can calm myself.

Jay:" What happened Vegas? Why you look so tired?"

Vegas:" I don't know . This thing is eating my head.😩"

Thew:" What is that thing?"

Vegas:" Pete is not behaving properly. Nowadays he acts so different. Earlier he always seemed so happy whenever i asked him to meet me . But now his plans with Tankhun are more important than me."

Jay:" Are you sulking because of this?"

Thew:" It's okay if he wants to spend sometime with him. But that doesn't mean that he is behaving differently."

V:" No you are not getting guys. It's not only this , there are many things . I wanted to tell him the truth but he is avoiding me. Whenever i ask him to be with me , he always gives excuses so that he can get rid of me. This is going for about more than two weeks."

Jay:" Did he got bored of you or what?"

Thew:" I think he is bored of you.🤔"

Jay:" Shut up Thew. He is already stressed. Don't say such things."

Thew:" But I'm serious Jay."

V:" What do you mean?🤨"

Thew:" Recently i went to market to buy some stuff. There I saw Pete. He was giggling and talking to someone. It was a man. "

V:" What?😠"

Jay:" Hey Thew, don't say things that you don't know ."

Thew:" I'm serious. It was Pete, and he was with someone. Not only me but the people who were around me , were also saying them that "what a cute couple it is! " That time i thought that they are thinking wrong because Pete loves you. But now after hearing you, i think maybe what i saw was........"

V:" Who was he? Did you saw his face?😠"

Did Pete really like someone else? Is he avoiding me Because he likes someone else. No it can't be.

Thew:" No. His back was facing towards me. I only saw Pete."

Jay:" Aii Vegas, don't do something which you regret later on."

V:" Don't worry, i believe Pete. I know he won't do something like this. He loves me. He truly loves me. He won't cheat on me."

Thew:" But you said that he is behaving differently, so

V:" I'll check it.😤"

Pete pov:

It's been more than two weeks that i didn't met Vegas. He always tried to reach to me. But i kept on avoiding him. I wanted him to breakup with me as fast as he could. So that He and Porsche can be together.

Por:" Finally weekend is here. Pete , don't you have any plans for today?"

P:" I do. I'm going to meet my friend?"

Por:" Friend? Do you have any friends here?"

P:" Yes there is one."

Por:" You never told me about him."

P:" Everyone was busy. If you want you can join me. He'll be happy to meet you."

Por:" No i can't come. Actually i have plans with Vegas today."

I was still not comfortable Whenever he took his name. My heart always gets shrunken when i heard Vegas name from his mouth.

P:" Today?"

Por:" Yes , in the evening i would go to meet him."

P:" So you can come with me. There is time left. We'll return by the evening."

Por:" Actually I'm tired right now . And i have to look good infront of him. So I'll rest for now. You go ahead. Enjoy and bye😉."

I went to meet Poom. He is such a great friend to me. He was my friend since childhood. Here, i didn't tell anyone about me and Vegas. But only Poom knows about him. I told him everything . How i met him, how I've fallen in love with him. I even told him how....... he's cheating on me and how he never loved me and how my presence disgusts him😢.

He really supported me a lot.

He's a great chef. He asked me to come to him whenever I feel stressed. He'll teach me how to bake. Poom is getting married soon to his 7 years old crush. She is also from my Island. So he needs my help to arrange for his wedding. When I'm in my room i only think about Vegas. So i come here to Poom to keep myself busy.

It was evening now . I was going back to mansion. When I saw Porsche coming out of the mansion. He was going to meet Vegas. He told me he'll be going in evening. I secretly followed him with my car. I don't know why i was doing this but...... I wanted to see it myself whether they are really in love or not.

Porsche parked his car and went in the market. It was a crowded place. I kept following him. He went to an alley and then there I saw Vegas. He was standing near his bike. I hid myself at the turn of alley so that they won't see me.

I saw Porsche hugged Vegas. He hugged him back.😢 I turned to look away from them. I never thought that Vegas would cheat on me with my best friend, Porsche. Porsche is also innocent. He don't know about me and Vegas. And i don't want to break his heart by telling him about us . Even i can't blame Vegas. From the starting i knew he would never love someone like me. His standards are way too high. Porsche and Vegas really looked good together. I was the one who forced my love on him. I was the one who told him that i love him. He might don't want to hurt my feelings so he just played along😢.

After a while i checked again, they were talking something but i can't hear them. I saw Vegas took out something from his pocket. It was a ring. Is he going to propose him😢. After a while, Porsche hugged him tightly and they both ki..........kissed each other.👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨

Did Vegas proposed him? And Porsche ,he accepted the ring.😢

The moment i saw them together kissing. My heart shattered into pieces 💔.

I can't bear to see that😭. I quickly ran away from there and went to car and back to mansion.

Vegas pov:

I was waiting for Porsche into alley. Pete was so busy. He kept on ignoring me for many days.

I was not focusing on Porsche. So i called him to meet me. I was also getting bored at my house. I saw him . He came near to me and hugged me and i did same.

Earlier i thought to tell him the truth first. But no , i can't. I know he'll be hurt.

V:" Porsche, how are you?"
