Karl was nervous and overjoyed at the same time, as servants ran back and forth, someone fixing his now royal attire and straightening the long white cloak he was wearing. All when suddenly the door opened and one of the kings stepped inside.
He wore a blue suit with gold embroidery and a red sash with medallions on it, as he walked towards Karl.
"How are you feeling?" "Scared and amazing at the same time", Karl said, gasping as someone tied the corset vest he wore a little too tight, "Could you loosen that a bit, I can't breath" "I'm sorry your highness", the servant said and loosened it again.
"I'm no highness, I'm Karl and I've told you that multiple times. I'm no different then you", Karl said and the servant nodded and continued his work.
"Everyone is ready for you entrance, so we should go now", Skeppy said and Karl nodded. "Okay", he sighed and asked the servants, "Could you help me with the cloak? It's so beautiful and I'm afraid it might get dirty before I walk down the aisle."
"Of course", one of the servants said, after pulling the translucent hood over Karls hair.
Then they picked up the long train of fabric and before they were out the door Karl turned around once more to the other servants that started cleaning up behind him. "Aren't you coming?", he asked and confused they looked at him, "It's just... You showed me so much kindness, I would enjoy if you would be at my wedding. We will be living together in these halls like family eventually and I think it would be nice to treat you as such"
Unsure the servants looked at the king that had walked a few steps more then Karl and he gave them a nod.

Quickly they started following, a few of them smiling excitedly.
Skeppy guided them through the long corridor and said: "You will stay here, until the guards closed the doors behind me, okay? And when they're closed you will stand right in the middle and I'm sure someone will help straighten out your cloak and then you walk in when the guards open the doors again"
Karl nodded and took a deep breath, before suddenly a servant held him a bouquet of flowers. It was flowing down, a few green decorations almost reaching down to his knees, flower heads a soft and beautiful orange. "Thank you so much", Karl said in awe and took it into his hands, while the king stepped inside with all servants except for two, doors closing behind them.
Karl stepped right in front of the door, felt little tugs on his cloak as the remaining two helpers started straightening out the train of white fabric. And then suddenly the door were opened again and Karl started walking.
Sapnap at the altar wore an equally as long black cloak, with the hood let down.
A purple flower tugged into the little pocket on his suit.
He cried as he saw Karl, whispered a silent wow to himself, as he walked down the aisle.
Before Karl finished his way, he paused in front of the few steps that kept them apart and bowed to King Halo, who would officiate the wedding for them.
To his surprise the king bowed to him as well, when he looked back up.
Someone relieved him of his bouquet and slowly he walked all the way up to Sapnap, who was almost sobbing in joy.
He went down on one knee and kissed Karls hand, before he looked up at him.
"You're gorgeous", he said, slowly rising up again, while Karl teared up as well.

His heart was pounding in his chest.
"I love you so much", he whispered and Sapnap squeezed his hands, unable to form words, just shakily smiling at him, as tears streamed down his face.
Gently Karl wiped them away, before taking both of Sapnaps hands again.
"Today, we are here, gathered to witness this marriage, between these two souls.", the king started, "A month ago, when I first saw Karl on the night of the ball, I wasn't sure if my son was in the right mind. I was sure he should've married another royal, but when I got the chance to learn who Karl really was, I couldn't have been prouder of my son. For choosing love over a crown and riches. The admiration and kindness they give to each other is something so beautiful, I can not begin to describe it. And so today with the blessing of true love, I ask you, Karl Jacobs, will you marry the here present Sapnap of Halo and with that become prince Karl of Halo? So say yes, I do."
Karl smiled at Sapnap, also crying by now and said: "Yes, I do."
Sapnap started shaking even more, hands tightly holding Karls.
"And do you, Sapnap of Halo take the here present Karl Jacobs to your lawfully wedded husband? So say yes, I do."
"Yes, a million times yes, I do.", Sapnap sobbed and Karl smiled widely at him.
"You may kiss", the king concluded and slowly Sapnap pushed Karls hood off and pressed a soft kiss to his lips.
Karl gently held Sapnaps face in his hands as he kissed him back.
It felt magical and warm and for a moment Karl was sure he was dreaming, but he wasn't, he knew by the warmth in Sapnaps eyes when their gazes met and the way his hands held firmly onto his waist.
"I love you, my husband", Karl said with a smile and Sapnap smiled back at him and nodded ever so slightly. "I love you too, darling, so much"
In the next moment Skeppy brought them the rings, both golden wedding bands with each other's names engraved in them.
Sapnap gently took Karls hand and pushed the ring onto his finger, before kissing it just like he did so many times before.
Then he raised his hand for Karl to hold and carefully Karl pushed the ring onto his ring finger, kissing his hand as well, before giving him another soft kiss on the lips.
"I now announce you husbands, congratulations", King Halo declared and the entire audience started applauding.
Karl couldn't believe how lucky he was.
A year ago he lived in fear of someone finding out about Sapnap and him and today he married him for everyone to see.
"I have to be the luckiest man alive", he said breathlessly and Sapnap looked at him fondly, pulling him closer. "Not after I just got to marry you, darling. I've never been luckier and never more grateful for anything in my life, the I am for you.", Sapnap replied and Karl hugged him tightly, before they started walking out of this hall again.
This time they walked together, hand in hand, long trains of black and white fabrics with golden edgings and ornaments trailing behind them. This was them now, married, soon to be kings and absolutely and utterly in love.
