Regina's POV:
Me and Ali are walking down the hallways of our school, Getting ready for our next class.
When suddenly a girl opened the door and ran as fast as she could, With visible tears running on her cheeks.
"What the-"
Another student came out crying, Holding his crumbled paper while wiping his tears.
"Nakaka kaba naman, 'Wag nalang kaya tayo pumasok." Ali faked a shiver while i rolled my eyes.
"Tama nayang pag iinarte mo, Let's go inside before we get late." His hands were on my shoulder while we went inside the classroom.
There were already many students inside, And there were different reactions when someone ran away from the teacher with watering eyes.
1. The people who tries to stop their laugh by covering their mouth.
2. Unbothered by what is happening.
3. Scared that they might be scolded next.
4. Shamelessly laughing at a low tone at the person.
"Gina, Li, Sit here." Xandra waved her hand with a smile.
"What happend?" I asked while me and Ali sat down.
"Apparently, Miss Custodio didn't like the essay they made. Sadly, They couldn't handle their tears and ran away."
"Pa chika naman." Ali asked while gazing at Xandra.
Xandra looked left and right, And pulled out her phone.
"'Wag kayo maingay ha, Mga marites pa naman kayo, Baka ikalat niyo." We both nodded with an eager look.
"You know that Miss Custodio assigned me to give the papers to the rightful owner, She called for me earlier and gave it to me. Look at her comments,"
'great, but simultaneously awful'
'where on earth is the common sense?'
'it's either you didn't understand the material i handed to you, or you did this at the last minute. I'm not sure what's worse'

'you're not taking this seriously.'
"Grabe naman, Kaya pala crumpled na mga essay nila kanina."
"Speaking of essays, Eto sainyo." She handed our essays, I examined mine, Looking if there are snarky remarks.
"At least my ??? is not that bad." Ali signed and kept it in his bag.
"How 'bout you, Gina? May sideline comment ba sa'yo si ma'am?" Xandra asked with her hands on her chin.
Once i was done examining my paper, I furrowed my brows.
"...no, Only an 'okay' at the end."
"What?!" Ali said out loud while i covered his mouth.
"Ang ingay mo!" I whisper-shouted at him.
"You're one lucky duck, I'm telling you. Look at her comments on my essay." She showed me her paper.
'how is this entertaining?'
'bored of reading this'
"At least yours is not that mean, Unlike the other two that walked out."
"Everyone stop chattering, And turn your books to page 179, We have no time to waste." Miss Custodio came in like a flash, Startling all of us.
"Listen, My day has been ruined since this morning, Especially those two that came out running out of my class at least 5 minutes ago."
"So, I don't want to hear any complains while I'm teaching. If you have any questions about my comments on your essay, Stay after our discussion and we'll talk."
"Already getting the chills from her tone." Ali covered his face with his book.
The whole time she was teaching, No one dared to say another word unless it was necessary, Afraid that they might be the next student to walk out of her class.
"...and, That's all for today. Any questions regarding about the lesson?" No one raised their hand, A sign that everyone understood it clearly, Or just too afraid to ask.

"None? Is everyone sure? Last time this happend after i gave a pop quiz, Majority of the class failed." Everyone shook their head.
"Okay, Class is dismissed." Everyone sighed in relief.
"We actually survived the whole time, Phew." Ali was smiling widely while packing his things on his desk.
"Also, Miss Vanguardia, Remain in my class." Xandra smirked at me and nudged my shoulder, While Ali let out a gasp.
"Stay alive, I won't be able to last a second if i talk to her one on one." Xandra said with a sarcastic tone.
"Anyway, Me and Xan will be at the cafeteria, You know our spot." I smiled at them as they walked out of the room.
I slowly made my way to her desk, She was busy typing on her laptop anyway.
Can i just say her outfit is an absolute killer? If she wasn't a teacher, I'd talk to her.
No, Scratch that, Liligawan ko siya.
Normal ba na sabihin ang mga ito sa prof mo?
"Regina, Right?"
"Yes po."
"First, I must say that your essay was truly outstanding, You did very well as expected."
"However..."
"Why is the topic about a Teacher and a Student in a relationship?"

Entangled Fates Book 1 - Quantum Beginnings
“By far, the greatest danger of Artificial Intelligence is that people conclude too early that they understand it.” —Eliezer Yudkowsky Hey all, we're moving over to book 2. This content is in a state of transition. The book is now availble on Amazon (includes extra chapters): https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B07W1534R8 Artificial intelligence was nearly mankind’s last invention. AI took off like a rocket, then when it racked up an impressive death toll, it crashed before it could blossom and took most high-tech industries with it. Resistance and fears became deep-set. Two decades after the infamous Rev. 4.6 incidents, humanity hasn’t quit dreaming of the wealth and power that could be at their fingertips. A new generation of mega-corporations rose from the ashes. When one melds a quantum computer to a barely functional mental patient as a PR move, there are those who seek to profit, those who want to destroy it, and Alex. Alex Sage is a typical college student trying to keep up his grades and maybe find a meaningful connection with the fairer sex. Then, an automated semi crashes into his home, killing his family and turning his head into a pin cushion in the process. Alex awakens to find most of his memories gone and an illegal AI hidden in his brain implant. Now the pet project of a tech billionaire and heavily in debt, Alex struggles to stay valuable enough to be kept online. Still grappling with the repercussions of his injuries, and threats from a dangerous anti-augmentation political movement, there are no easy answers and threats loom around every corner. Alex must use whatever resources he can to escape from under the thumb of a ruthless corporation, while keeping those he comes to love safe. Chapters will stay up on RRL until Aug 10. It'll go up on Kindle Unlimited after that. How do you get those extra chapters I didn't have planned for RR? If you want them, they'll be in the published book. Book 2 will still make sense without them - I made sure of that. But... isn't $3 a lot for extra chapters? Think of it as tipping me for a good job and you'd also be getting my eternal thanks. If you enjoyed it so much that the idea of missing out a few chapters haunts you, I did my job as an author and made an engaging story. What's in those extra chapters? Resolving a few issues, set up for the cybernetic revolution, a rather intense sex scene with a new partner, revelations of who's really pulling strings, and a bit of set up for book 2. Complaints that people missed out on it when it was published here won't help (sorry!). I posted this for the folks who helped me shape the book, which is you all! (Again, yay!) But... Why! Why not keep it all on RR forever? My editor likes being paid for one. For two, I'd like the ability to get broader readership. If I break even on editor costs, I'll be incredibly happy. What about book 2? Drafts for Book 2 will go up around Sept 10. My draft of Book 2 is done, and it will be handed to the editor once Book 1 is published. Feedback has been even more positive. Beta readers devoured it and wanted more. I'll add a link to Book 2 once it's up on RR. I'm more or less, using you all for Beta Readers, so you get it before it's "canon" and edited. I invite active and meaningful feedback during this process. In return, you get early access to chapters. That does mean that the book content or plot might be adjusted before it gets published as I refine it. Sex Y/N? Yes. I heard the feedback, 90% wanted it explicit. You all will get the "full" experience. Will I dump all of book 2 here? Honestly, I'm not sure yet. At a minimum, it'll be up to the 75% mark as we collect feedback, much like what I did with book 1. It really depends on how good the feedback is and how nice people are. Lots of support + meaningful feedback to make it better = higher likelihood you get all the book. Will be it up here indefinitely? No, it'll probably go up on KU at some point, but I'll make sure there's enough time for a large readership to grab it here. Then we move to book 3 which already is around 60K words already. What about other adventures in the same universe/characters? Yep. Absolutely. Nothing ready to share yet though. I plan to keep those side chapters and more slice of life stories as RR exclusive. Since I'm carving this off in book-sized segments, I'll have to figure out where those disconnected story arcs belong. I'm open to suggestions.

Izuku Midoriya was a college student, just trying to get his teaching degree. He had been living in the sam duplex house for a year now and hadn't had any problems with the elderly woman who lived below him. She was a quiet and lovely neighbor. Until she died. Sike, I'm not that terrible guys. She just got put into an assisted living thing. Which meant the bottom floor was up for rent and it didn't take long for Izuku's landlord to find a new tenant, or tenants. Katsuki Bakugou and Shoto Todoroki were the two guys that moved in below Izuku. They were also in a band. A very loud band. Izuku was close to going crazy with all the noise he now had to live with and the two wouldn't quiet down, even after he asked, multiple times. Eventually, Izuku listens to them practice so much, one of their songs gets stuck in his head. He takes out the trash, not even realizing that he was singing it softly to himself. Until the two boys hear him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Izuku threw the bag into the dumpster on the side of the house, softly singing the lyrics that were now stuck in his head. "Hey, that's our song." A voice said from behind him. Izuku snapped his attention to the two guys sitting on the stairs of his front door. "It's stuck in my head because neither of you seem to have common courtesy to practice somewhere else." Izuku snapped back, not wanting to deal with either of the arrogant males.Shoto seemed unfazed by his attitude. "You've got a nice voice." He mused. Izuku eyed him suspiciously, not trusting his compliment. "Thanks I guess." He muttered. "Wanna join a band?"
