《Virus (Antisepticeye and Darkiplier)》Going Home

"Wow! That week went by fast!" You say, placing your bag near the door. "Yeah, well, when you're kidnapped and stuck in a computer for three of those seven days, it tends go a little quicker when you get back," Sean says with a smile. "Was it really only three days?" Mark asks. "That's what the date on my phone says," Sean answers. "At least it's not like last time, when they took us for a whole week." "Yeah, that was bad." Mark says. You're surprised at how he can shrug it off.
"You guys really had a lot of trouble with them, didn't you?" You say in a sympathetic voice. "Yeah," Mark replies sadly. "But, now they're gone." "Yeah, I'm really glad they weren't able to get through the new monitor," Sean says. He crosses his arms comfortably. "When do your guys' flights leave?" "Mine leaves at 3:30," Mark says. "4:00," you say. Suddenly, you feel a wave of sadness. "You know," you start, "even though we went through what we did, I'm glad that I could come visit. I really bonded with you guys."
Sean and Mark smile. "I'm glad you came too, (y/n)," Sean says. "Me too," Mark puts in. "We couldn't have done it without you." "Aw, don't say that," you say, now embarrassed. You feel your face turning red. "No, I mean it," Mark argues. "He's s right ya know," Sean says. "With three of us and two of them, we outnumbered them. Plus, you were smart to run out and distact them right at the end. We really might not have made it back here if you weren't with us."
You couldn't hold back a grin if you tried. You hug Mark and Sean tightly. "I love you guys. But just as friends," you say with a giggle. "Don't say that around the fans," Mark grins. The three of you release from the hug. "Feel free to come back anytime," Sean says. "Uh, no," you say. "After all we've been through, you guys are coming to my place." You all laugh. A couple of minutes later, you and Mark head on your separate ways home, each with a bag of cookies that Sean had not-so-eagerly parted with. Even though this week had been an experience you would never forget, that was fine with you.

AOT: Boats
I know, the title doesnt seem to make sense. Its an acronym. For what? Hm. T means True. Up to you otherwise. Oh, right. The acronym actually does have an impact on one of the themes of the "story". At the same time I mixed it up with a reference to the original plan for this when I started, so yay. A double. Well, actually, a triple. Again, up to you. I should also mention that, as the rhyme that starts the story probably tells you, its gonna get kinda disturbing. All kinds of disturbing. Just to let you know.

The Nost
Jack and Ann have taken me on a great adventure full of mystery and incredible technology, I hope you'll join us. Three chapters will post each week in December 2021 and January 2022. The journey will come to a close on January 31. I know you have a lot of reading choices, but if you have space left in your literary adventure cup, please join Jack and Ann as 2021 turns into 2022, happy reading! The demon whispers inside Jack’s mind. “They are not worthy, they are cattle, these new humans you covet. The so-called creator has betrayed you, replaced you with these organic imitations. Slaughter them all.” It’s funny, not in a ha-ha funny way, but a sad, my madness doesn’t make sense type of way, Jack thinks, because wasn’t he human? Worse still, the voice comes with impulses that are hard to resist. Violence usually ensues. That’s why he joined the military. A way to channel his urges into mind-numbing physical effort and war. It works for a time. But alcohol and fighting can only carry on for so long. Finally, he realizes, his only way out is suicide. But when he opens his eyes, he’s in the In-Between. The creator has other plans for him, and she won’t take no for an answer. Apparently, this isn’t his first life and if he doesn’t free her from her prison, it won’t be his last. His curse is to be reborn without end, without rest, without memory. Only madness. Now Jack is on the run from forces he doesn’t understand. It’s a new world. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon’s voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. Come along on this action-packed thriller as Jack fights to remember who he is, tries to end an eternal war, and atone for sins he doesn’t remember…yet.

RED
Valley City. Up until around twenty years ago, it had been a nowhere place. Just a bunch of towns with no real reputation. Now, though, it's known for its progression in medical science. The Medical Technologies Company. It seemed to suddenly appear out of nowhere in the middle of what's now called City Center. Once just a manufacturer and developer of medical equipment, it eventually started to dabble in medical research. Before anyone even knew it, they were the leading research entities, with five seperate buildings in Valley City alone, all towering above everything else in the area. Some say they even swayed the local government into combining the old towns into one city and popularized prosthetic limbs as fashion themselves, but that's just gossip. Matthew Vega. A 25-year-old college dropout, tricked by MediTech into being experimented on under the pretense of participating in a clinical trial for rent money. After being broken out of their facility nearly a year after having her limbs replaced, then having her liberator captured, she seeks a way to dismantle the company or save the one she cares about. NOTE: Currently I am working on a rewrite. I will post a new chapter once that is ready, listed as V2CH-001. I hope you look forward to it.
