《The Little Frost Giant》Tradition

I didn't want to sleep last night! I wanted to continue to look for Astrid. It was weird waking up with out hearing Astrid trying to play silently. 9 years of waking up hearing Astrid, but now the silence rang in my ears. I got up out of bed and went into her room, in hopes this was all a nightmare, but it was real. "J.A.R.V.I.S any leads on were Astrid is?" The AI responded "Nothing Mr. Loki." Not the answer I was looking for.
I set up illusions at different hydra locations to cover some ground, nothing. I left Astrid's room after an hour of sitting on her bed. I saw Tony eating waffles, and Bucky reading, Thor was still in Asgard, most likely letting mother know of what is going on. I wanted to yell at them to get to work, but it was to early for that.
I woke up from the little sleep I got, I sat on my bed, wondering if this was all set up. Did dad send me here, did Uncle Thor, or grandpa. Did they even notice I was gone? My thoughts were interrupted by a masked man grabbing my arms and putting me in cuffs while pushing me to a dark room. The lights turned on one by one. I was sat down in a chair and tied down. Next thing I knew it was like I was being stabbed in my arms. Then darkness, was I dead?
I woke up in a new cell, but this one had a TV. I started watching a move when the vents had what looked like dry ice, nothing to worry about, I wasn't affected by the cold that much, I'm a Fros-WAIT! The Hydra people don't know that! They're trying to kill me! I hope that I just die, I don't want to be there test rat! I looked out of my cell and saw 2 men looking in at in awe, I looked at my hands. Yep, blue. The dry ice stopped coming out of the vents, I was standing there blue with red eyes. I was looking in a broken mirror, I could see my green eyes replacing the red, and my pale skin replacing the blue.

Steve, Bucky, Wanda, and Loki went in a car so Loki could check more locations with illusions, Still nothing. Wanda was reading Bucky's mind; 'She's only 9 don't let them hurt her as much as they did me, what if we are to late!' Wanda tried to forget about what Bucky was thinking. Everyone was silent on the way back to the compound.
Thor came back from Asgard, "Frigga and Odin are having warriors search more locations." Loki was relived, Avengers and Asgardian warriors searching for Astrid, it wont take long to find her. Everyone was awkward, when the events of New York happened no one thought a few years later they would be searching for Loki's child. But here they were.
Sam Busted through the door, "Redwing found something!" Loki was the first one out of his chair, "We have 30 locations were she could be!" Loki quickly sat back down. "30 hydra locations have 9 year old females held hostage." Sam told Loki. Steve asked, "Are they close to each other?" J.A.R.V.I.S answered " I went threw redwings files, the locations are spread out and mostly big, It would take years to find her." Loki didn't like the fact it would be years, "Lets look, I don't care if it takes years or century's, I need to find her!" Everyone but Thor looked at Loki like he was crazy. Somehow they forgot that Asgardians can live 5,000 years. Loki was fully determined to find her! No matter how long it took. He walked out the door but was cut off by Tony, "I don't know if you understand this but the Avengers are a TEAM!" "It will take you even longer to find her by yourself." That made Loki come back inside.

Steve didn't want everyone to split up. First they will invade the Hydra bases that Bucky, Wanda, or Steve already know the layout of.
I was able to see the date on one of the agents phones, It was my 10th birthday, I was alone. I want to go home, I want to spend my birthday with my dad, I want to see what m new room look's like. I miss everyone. I wonder if my family is going to continue our tradition of all of us going to town and buying toys for all the orphaned children, or did they forget me? I hope to see them soon.
I celebrated Astrid's 10th birthday in her room, I have a present sitting on her bed. I Asked Thor to bring me 2 books, One was a baby pink while the other was green. Thor was confused but he brought them. I sat in her room most of the day on her birthday, The baby pink book was given to Astrid by mother the 2nd day she was on Asgard. It was a book from Midgard to put photos in, I thought it was stupid, but I did it anyway. Then I bought the green one when the pink one was full.
The baby pink book was filled with Photo's of Astrid from the day she got it until she was 5, the green one was 5 until now, I have room for about 100 more photos. I looked at them all on her birthday. I added 14 photos as well, The photos were taken on the day we came to Midgard, she wanted a photo with everyone separately, including me and Thor for some reason. Then she has 2 more, one of her looking like she was holding up the avengers A, and the other on of her getting a piggy-back ride with Bucky. Then once I finished adding photos, I reminded Thor of our tradition with Astrid. So we found a local orphanage and bought toys for everyone in Astrid's name. I miss her. I hope we find her soon.
