(Spring Nationals Tournament-Day 1)
"Yo" Kuroo grinned after seeing Karasuno "Glad to see you guys make it here."
"Hey, Kuroo" Daichi grinned as well.
Karasuno met Nekoma in the middle of crowd within the well-known "orange court".
"Hey, Shoyo" Kenma greeted the shorter teen with a small smile before facing the violet eyed girl "Ayame as well. I can't wait to have a game with you guys"
He may be smiling but his eyes were glowing dangerously with a hint of challenge.
It slightly surprised the two but they returned it back with the same expression, both brown and violet eyes glowing like Kenma's.
A strategy game with Ayame and volleyball game with Hinata.
"Looks like our setter is pretty gung-ho for our upcoming match" Nekoma's captain smirked after seeing his face. He looked back at Karasuno and raised his fist "Make sure you guys make it through the first day"
"Don't worry. The battle at the garbage dump will happen. We'll make sure of it" Daichi grinned to his teammates, who nodded in agreement.
"Hey, hey, hey!!" an overly familiar and energetic voice caught their attention. "You shouldn't forget you guys have another rival here!!"
"Bokuto-san!!" both Ayame and Hinata ran to high-five Fukurodani's ace.
"Hahahahaha!! Hey, my #1 fan and #1 disciple! Glad to see you guys in the Nationals!!"
"I apologize for the noise he caused" Akaashi told the two teams with a slight bow.
"No, we apologize for our energetic first years" Daichi says as he sweat dropped.
"Looks like it's getting lively today, huh?" the announcer says as his voice echoed inside the gymnasium "Players all over the country are gathered here today for the most awaited competition: the Spring Cup Tournament! Based on the list of teams that came here, it looks like we have a couple of dark horses and veterans competing this year! How exciting! Isn't that right, Haruka-I mean, Mizuki-san?"

Both Karasuno and Nekoma (plus Bokuto and Akaashi) robotically twisted their heads upon hearing that familiar name.
"Yes, the Spring Tournament this year is full of surprises. I'm looking forward to see every game this season"
That voice... without a doubt...
It belonged to Mizuki Kazumi.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH?!?!?!"
Both Karasuno and Nekoma members and Bokuto screamed in shock upon seeing Kazumi talking with the emcee.
"Ahahaha! So do I! Thank you once again for accepting the invitation to be the sports analyst for the tournament this year, Mizuki-san." The emcee grins. "The former "Demon Vixen" of the volleyball world, Mizuki Kazumi-san, formerly Haruka Kazumi-san, is back! You may be retired but we all still love you, Mizuki-san!"
"You flatter me. Even if I'm retired, volleyball is still the sport very precious to me. I thank all my fans who never stopped loving me."
Cue the screams and cheers from the crowd.
"Whoa! Look at all those screams from the crowd! Your charisma is really amazing, Mizuki-san!"
While the emcee and Kazumi were talking, the players of both teams could only stare at them in utter shock.
"I-I didn't expect mom to be the invited sports analyst this year..." Ayame blinked as she stared at her mom.
"More like... I didn't expect Auntie to have this level of professionalism..." Daichi sweat dropped "And I half expected her to brag around Ayame-chan, knowing how she loves to show off her daughter..."
"We never heard of this..." Kuroo says as he looked at their coach, who just shrugged before grinning in amusement.
"Looks like Kazumi's surprise worked, eh?" Coach Nekomata says with a laugh.
"That woman really likes to do impulsive stuffs..." Coach Ukai shook his head with a smile.
"Whoa!! Is Mizuki-chan's mom really one of those commentators this year?! Akaashi, is it true?!" Bokuto was pointing to where the woman is located while looking back forth to his setter.

Akaashi was still in a shock as he stammered a reply "Y-Yes... I believe so..."
Even the ever calm Akaashi is surprised to see a setter he high respect watch the whole tournament.
"Kazumi-san will be watching...!" Kageyama pumps his fist subtly as he grins to his self "I have to do my best...!"
"Ryu! I suddenly feel pumped up after seeing Kazumi-san!!" Nishinoya grins widely as he jumped repeatedly in glee.
"Yep, they really are her fanboys" the remaining members sweat dropped.
"For some reason, I suddenly feel pressured when Kazumi-san will be commentating..." Kuroo says as he rubbed his neck.
"That should be our line after she trained the hell out of us..." Daichi sighed as he recalled their months of training under the woman.
"Ayame? Have you recovered?" Yamaguchi waved a hand in front of her face.
She blinked before slapping her cheeks, much to his surprise. Taking a deep breath, she faced everyone and grinned. "Since mom is watching, I guess we have to do our best so she won't be disappointed, right, everyone?! Let's show mom-no, the "Demon Vixen" our full strength!!"
They all grinned at each other and raised their fists.
"YEAH!!"

Riftwalker
Legend speaks that a roaring force of insatiable abyss lies beneath the peaceful overworld. Named the Rift after its chasm-like entrances, this unexplored void has consumed the underneath for eons. What had seemed just a myth crawled out of unreality in the form of eldritch creatures. Reborn as something not entirely human, mankind rejected the boy. Thrown into the Rift by people who feared him, he had to live in a world run by monsters as a newborn. Surviving, however, wasn't his only difficulty as he soon had to decide whether he would save the people who banished him or simply idle as the Rift engulfed all life. As of chapter 9, Riftwalker is on a very small hiatus. I'm very busy with work atm :( Here are a couple of things to expect: Lots of action and exploration! Diverse and refreshing creatures; There are good and evil. Satisfying progression and coming of age. The protagonist stands out but isn't overpowered. There are some litRPG elements, but it's not a determinant factor. The fights are decided through one's combat skill and experience and not stat-checking. Oh, and some other info: There is a bit of gore, but nothing disturbing. Occasionally, there will be images of the scenery and landscape. Chapters will be around 1,5k to 2k words long, and the releases will probably be relatively slow, sorry.
