《My Lazy Prince》Chapter 12

It was time for (Y/N) to start her mission. She decided to start her journey during the late afternoon, so by the time she reaches the village, it will be night time. A perfect time to go demon hunting.
(Y/N) looked up at the sky, and she thought it's time to start traveling to the village. She grabbed her sword, and her fox mask.
The young female always wore a fox mask, with real rubies on the side. It was a gift from the former water Hashira, Urokodaki.
(Y/N) loved it so much, she always wore it whenever she went on missions.
The young female was about to leave, but she then remembered a very important accessory.
"Can't forget about you." she said, grabbing her gold ring. She slid it on her ring finger, as she left her house.
The sun had already set, and the young female was nearing the village.
For some reason, something felt off, really off. A certain foul smell circulated in the air. (Y/N) walked a few more feet, but she suddenly came to a hult. Her eyes widened, as she saw the cause of the foul smell.
The whole village was destroyed. Dead bodies were everywhere. The young demoness cringed, when she noticed some of the bodies were missing limbs.
"H...help..some..one...please.." (Y/N) heard a plea for help.
The pillar of gems instantly rushed to where the voice came from. She passed numerous dead bodies and destroyed houses, but that wasn’t her main focus.
"Please! He...lp..me…" (Y/N) ran even faster, and soon she reached the scene of the crime. (Y/N) saw a demon munching on a girl, around her teens.
The demon’s back was facing (Y/N), so she couldn't see its face. "Please...Hel-" The girl’s head was cut off, making (Y/N) flinch.

"Don't you know it's rude to be talking when someone is eating." The demon said to the dead girl.
"HEY!" (Y/N) shouted, bringing out her sword. "Don't you know it’s rude to cut a lady's head off!"
The demon turned around, and (Y/N) froze immediately. She recognized that face, that blonde hair, those colorful eyes…
Doma.
"Ara, looks like I have dessert." the blonde demon said, standing up.
(Y/N) couldn’t move. Her hands were trembling at the sight of her beloved. Doma was nearing her, but luckily she quickly snapped out of her daze.
(Y/N) swung her sword, cutting off Doma's hand. "Wow! You must be a really powerful Hashira in order for you to just cut off my hand like that." the blonde demon complimented.
Shit its him! (Y/N) cursed mentally, as she blocked one of Doma’s attacks. Shit, I don't even think he knows that it's me.
The young (H/C) haired female was indeed correct. Doma didn’t recognize that it was his beloved under the fox mask.
Attack after attack, (Y/N) dodged everyone of them. But she did not form any attack of her own. Maybe if I can knock him out for a bit, I might be able to win this without harming him. But it was already too late.
Just as (Y/N) was thinking of a plan, Doma attacked her, sending her body flying. Her back hit a tree, causing numerous parts of her body bleed.
The blonde demon picked (Y/N) up by her neck and pushed her against the tree.
"Now let’s see how pretty you are under that mask. I would love to see your face before I eat you." Doma said, removing the mask.
At this point, (Y/N) was struggling to get out of Doma’s grasps. She couldn’t let him see her, she just couldn’t.
Doma removed the mask, as (Y/N) looked at him. Doma’s eyes widened, as he let go of (Y/N)’s neck, making her fall down to the ground.
The male demon trembled at the sight of his "supposedly" dead wife.
"(Y/N)..."
(Y/N), although bleeding in numerous places, looked up.
"Hello, my Lazy Prince."

Age of Regression
[Author's Thoughts] Dropped, obviously. Still, it's my first attempt at a novel and I do love what I did with it. Big step towards learning. Far in the past, there was a civilization much more advanced than the one of modern times. Evidence of that time remains, but it is all but shrouded in mystery as there remains no way to decipher it. Currently, normal individuals wage war with guns and smaller machinery, but those who can wield a higher power vary in their abilities. Scales, born upon humans, are a mystery in their origins but are the source of their abilities and their way towards advancement. Although normally powerless, humans have adapted to the scales and thus can connect with the power of the universe, much like the other races that inhabit its various corners. In one of these corners, there exists a human settlement where Lancing follows his father's footsteps to begin his own ascent to power. However, he finds he is far different from his gifted father, whose scales below his eyes were among the purest ever seen, reaching gem-like quality. Far from perfect, Lancing shows no desire to give up and ceaselessly moves forward to reach the peak of the universe. However, he begins to notice that the mysteries of the universe slowly begin to unravel in front of his eyes. To reach the heavens, Lancing must carve his own path.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
