《Why Did I do This to Myself?!? (One Piece Fanfic)》This... This Is New

"I... What??? Ddbhrscjieas???? Did... Did they start a cult?? I'm... God dam it." I rant to Ami.
Sooo, I located the island Lads on, but I'm not sure if I should go on it. Like this island gives me a vibe, like somethings wrong with it. There's also a statue of a den den mushi, oddly resembles Lad... I left them alone for 2 freaking weeks! How?!?
"Should we dock at there harbor...?" Ami asked also picking up the odd vibe.
"No... Stay on the ship, make sure no one dies and I'll check out the island." She nods, pauses, then gives me a weird look.
"How you gonna get to the island??"
Pausing I realize we don't have a boat I can use to get there... Quickly walking to my room and changing into shorts and a tank top, heading back up on deck, I start stretching.
"... What are you doing." Yes, be confused by my genius.
"Stretching."
"Why??"
"So I don't cramp while swimming to the island."
Haru who was near by perks up at this. "50 berries we have to save her from drowning."
A large grin spreads across Amis face. "I'll take that bet."
"You guy's suck." Sighing I take off my mask and put it in a waterproof bag.
Taking the weights off my legs and arms and tucking the bag in my pocket I jump into the water. "Don't drown idiot." I feel so loved right now, thanks Ami.
After almost getting eaten by a sea king, I finally wash up on shore. Vomiting out water and what looks to be the remands of a fish, I take in my surroundings. This islands kinda tropical, there's allot of palm trees and shrubs, probably has a good fishing industry.

Using observation haki to find Lads exact location, I manage to locate them somewhere near the center of the island by the weird large wooden statue. This is gonna be a long day, I can already tell.
Getting the sand off my wet clothes the best I could, I realize I probably should of brought a extra pair with me. Looking back at the ship, which is about 300 yards out, I sweat drop. To late to go back now I guess.
Putting on my dry mask, I walk down a worn down path, I see someone walking in my direction with a cart. Nearing them they seem to notice me, which I think confused them, probably debating to get help or not. And because I don't know what stranger danger is I go right up to this mysterious guy.
"Hello! Do you mind me picking at your brain for a bit?" This seems to scare him, so I'm guessing he's not very brave.
"I mean that figuratively." That seems to calm him down enough to have a conversation.
"Uh, sure I guess..." This guy looks to be 15, maybe 18.
"What's the name of this island?"
"Ow, it's Hanran Hara." Odd name.
"Cool, what's up with the giant statue?" This question seemed to surprise him.
"You don't know? It's a statue of our saver." What did you do Lad?!?
Thanking him for the information I speed walk twords the statue. Who starts a cult in 2 weeks? Lad apparently.
Entering town square and rushing twords Lads location, I run into someone. "Fidel sticks."
Shoot, I just knocked over a old lady! "Are you ok?!" I ask helping her up.
"Don't you know who I am?!" I just knocked over the cult leader, didn't I...

Her outburst seems to catch the attention of the other locals, they seem pretty mad. Well this is gonna be interesting, wonder if they'll try and execute me to.
"Did they just knock over the grand master?!?" I hear someone in the crowd shout, they've started to circle around me... Called it with her being the head honcho though.
I feel someone hoist me up by the armpits and start dragging me twords a sketchy building. "Wait, this is just a big misunderstanding!"
Promptly being ignored I'm thrown into a room, there's 5 people wearing cult attire and one that looks to be an executioner. So as a the sane person I am, I quickly use observation haki to locate Lad again and run away from the scary room.
Entering a room that looks like someone was torn apart in (there's like origins on the ground), I find Lad on a pillow looking traumatized. Since people are chasing after me, I promptly scoop up Lad and crash through a glass window to escape the mad house.
Running away full speed, I got slightly injured by the glass but it's nothing serious. Reaching the islands shore and holding Lad like a football, I realize I could just steal on of the boats here to get back to the ship.
'Don't go that way!' Pausing, I look around.
'Can you hold me like a living creature please?!' Looking down at Lad, I see an annoyed expression on there face.
"You can talk?!?" Wtf???
'No, I'm talking to you telepathically idiot!' Rude.
'All lot of stuff has happened and I know you want an explanation. But right now I need you to listen to me so we can get off this god forsaken island!' Good point.
"Ok, which way?" This is going to take some getting used to.

Imagine Being a Rare
The world of mobile games is harsh on wallets and harsher on the characters. How do you stand out in an crowd of designs calculated to attract attention from whales? You want power and fame, powercreep alts and event appearances. Some high rarities succeed, others fail. But how do you stand out when your design is plain, your power low, and your rarity, well, Rare? You don't. In the moderately popular gacha game Commandment of Hero, some Rares have had enough. A new gameplay mode will give them a chance to rise above their rarity, they think. All they need are courage, kindness, and wisdom. They have none of those, but they do have stubbornness, selfishness, and shamelessness, which are at least as effective. If that sounds pathetic, just imagine being a Rare. Updates Monday and Friday.
