namra told us that while gwinam was here, she could hear a announcement, telling any survivers to hide and stay clear from the areas they were going to bomb
"there's no way for us to leave without alerting the zombies or breaking our legs" jimin argued
"i will distract the zombies" sunhae said, but i started to argue "uh no! no one is dying! we're so close to safety!" right then we could hear a panicked voice
"baby?!" heesu said, with all her time of being a mother being inside a zombie apocalypse, she had not yet named her baby
we all took a closer look at what happened, heesu was shaking her baby slightly, tears streaming down
"what happened?!" hari asked from beside her "what's going on?!"
"she's not breathing!"
gasps were heard from everyone
"we- we never found her food! we couldn't get milk and i couldn't- couldn't provide it!" her sobs grew louder and louder, unable to take the death of her baby
no one could do anything, we stood there and watched as a mother's heart broke
hari was the first to move, wrapping her arms around the younger girl
tears fell from my eyes as i watched her breathing become harsher and harsher under the hold of hari
i didn't notice joonyeong come up from behind me, he pulled me into a hug and i shoved my face into his neck, it wasn't my baby, but i still felt horrible, how could someone not?
minutes went by and no one said a thing, until heesu spoke up
"we... we have to leave" she said shakily "we can't stay here anymore, the explosions..." she trailed off
"she's right, onjo? where'd you get that screw from?" sunhae asked onjo, who still had her weapon in her hand, she pointed towards where she got it from, and there were more

"everyone grab one, we're leaving, attack the zombies only if needed, i hope you all have enough stamina to run"
we all grabbed one, heesu opened her backpack and placed her baby's corpse in it, I didn't question her despite wanting to
daesu handed me a bottle of juice from the bag he was carrying, we still had enough food for the rest of today, and probably tomorrow
namra opened the curtains and we all got out, trying to walk as quiet as possible to the first floor, we made it thankfully and sunhae instructed us to start running
we ran and at this point i could feel my head starting to hurt again, but as i looked over to namra who had her hand practicing glued onto her ear, i thought maybe i have it better
we made out into the mountains, panting and some of us holding our pained legs, when there wad a sudden loud boom, we looked behind us and there was a huge explosion, suhyeok threw himself on top of me to shield me from any debris
we all fell due to the impact of the bombing,it stopped only for a second, and hit us harder than the last, pieces of wood and metal being chucked at every character
hours passed as we hiked through the mountains, some had became injured, and required assistance as we moved, but at some point in the darkness,we grew tired, and decided to sleep, we needed energy to continue, but it is was running thin, only one more day, and we'd be free

Ortus (Old Version)
This is an old version of the heavily edited and rewritten Ortus This is the story of a woman named Riza. Riza is a woman who wakes up in a forest with nothing, remembering nothing, and on the cusp of death. The only thing she has is a weapon stuck in her side and, after a tangle with a wild boar, something called 'life aspect'. Little does she know that life magic is considered a dead-end branch and is largely outlawed across the world. None of this matters to her, of course. For one, even if someone tried to tell her, she doesn't know the language. Number two, have you heard about the sunk cost fallacy? Riza is not some chosen one, nor is given any boon she doesn't deserve. Instead, she's smart and methodical, and experiements on how to maximise every opportunity, every ability, presented to her. She doesn't just take things at face-value but instead explores just what limitations there are. This often involves maths.

LITTLE GREEN MEN • Book 1
As nineteen-year-old Alex Dash cares for his six-year-old twin siblings, Henry and Annabelle, he is forced to navigate a post-cataclysmic world full of hostile entities. Dogs that seem more aware than they ought to, sentient plant-life, nomads aimlessly wandering...Rescued by a farming colony called Community, Alex meets Eva Monroe. She is mysterious, but also familiar somehow. When Alex sees strange lights in the fields, he begins asking questions that no one seems willing to answer. Together, Alex and Eva discover a secret. A secret that no one in Community saw coming...or did they? I will also post some of this story on Royal Road.Excerpt: To the right of the road the land rose sharply to a hill. Alex's gut tightened and fluttered as he realized their current location was not a wise one; low ground was a disadvantage in a conflict. Alex had a bad feeling, a hunch that he wasn't the only one searching. His attention was drawn to the top of the hill. Something was up there. They were being watched.
