《hostage | all of us are dead》chapter ten

i was woken up by ruckus around me, i blinked my eyes slowly, noticing the others taking tables and stairs and lining them up
"whats... happening" i yawned and stretched out, realizing namra had untied the cloth bringing our hands together
"we're gonna lure the zombies in with the tv and make alot of noise" suhyeok explained "then we'll make a run for the rooftop" i nodded
"you can sit there, you're tired, we'll do the work" joonyeong said "are you sure? i can help-" "no, really, its fine, we have plenty of people"
i nodded and just sat still, i mean, who am i to pass the opportunity to be lazy?
i watched as the others talked, some with bags full of food slung over their arms, i met jimin's gaze, she looked upset still but she didn't say anything about it
when she realized she was caught staring she looked away and had i noticed her ears were red, she was blushing
i laughed silently to myself, all i had to do was look at them and they'd start freaking out, this is fun
after sitting and not helping at all they finished, onjo stood protectively next to me as we jumped over to the other side, cheongsan going to open the door and running back before he could get bit
i took a deep breath and grabbed a makeshift weapon, was it a broken guitar? yes but it'll have to do
the zombies spread inside the room fast, as we put our backs against the border we made, trying to keep it up as two others stayed by the other door, waiting for all of them to leave the halls
my arms grew tired quickly, as the zombies tried climbing onto the border, namra noticed i was getting tired from her spot next to gyeongsu, who had been at the door and she walked to me

"let me, go with gyeongsu" she said, i nodded and our hands touched for a split second, if my heart wasn't already beating abnormally due to the zombies, it would have beat for her
i slid away and watched her for a second, she was stronger because of her hambie senses
i stood next to gyeongsu and watched out the door with him, seeing the zombies rush to the door on the opposite side
he seemed nervous, i don't blame him, our lives relied on getting to the roof on time, i scooted closer to him and held his hand, he visibly flinched but relaxed into my hold, he was very sweaty aswell, his palms were a obvious sign of that
the others started making more noise, even instructing daesu to shout
the border was slowly falling asleep too, with more and more zombies running into it and even attempting to climb over, but the others would hit them down
finally, it seemed like all the zombies in the hall were gone, as there weren't anymore running towards the music room
gyeongsu shouted out to the others and instructed everyone to leave, they started to slowly pour out infront of me but i stayed still with the teacher, to make sure the rest were okay
pretty quick it was only ms park, me, cheongsan and daesu left in the room, daesu seemed reluctant to leave but cheongsan grabbed him and ran out abruptly, taking a hold of my hand as they ran into the hall, with ms park keeping close to daesu to ensure he won't get harmed
we all began running fast, my ankle was beginning to burn, i cursed silently to myself, losing speed due to the pain
wujin noticed this and slowed down until he was infront of me, causing me to stop

"get on my back" he said, i stood there panting in confusion, the others hadn't realized we stopped yet
"hurry! we don't have alot of time" he gestured for me to hop on so i did, in far too much pain to decline
he was pretty strong, so having me on his back didn't stop him from running, although slower than the others
we made it to the rooftop shortly after, climbing the stairs was a difficult task on his back
i got down from his back as the others realized the roof was locked, i stood next to onjo who tried to pry the door open
i started banging on the door, my fist hurting from the intensity of my knocks, even onjo was surprised next to me
"hello?!? please open the door! i know you're there!" i shouted "please!"
cheongsan and suhyeok were fighting off the zombies trying to climb the stairs, even after knocking a sheet over them, when suddenly there were footsteps from the staircase, too steady to be a zombies
on the other side of the door, eunji and cheolsoo were having a dilemma, they could hear the sounds of a helicopter nearby, but the knocks on the door were so loud, hearing the shouts of other students
cheolsoo insisted to open the door, but eunji wasn't having it, she'd already said she didn't care for anyone else and she wished everyone would die, but there was one person that stayed on her mind
you, she's seen you in the halls, and you've even stopped a mess from happening with her bullies, her and cheolsoo had been so close to being beaten horriblely, but you stepped in and she watched as gwinam's attention immediately went to you
he stopped the whole thing to try and flirt with you, you weren't having it and took the two with you, even offering them food, since then eunji had become obsessed with you, she was pretty sure cheolsoo was too, she caught him on multiple occasions putting gifts in your locker, or blushing at the mention of you
but then, she recognized a voice from the shouting of students, it sounded like...you? were you alive? she looked at cheolsoo and it seemed like he realized it too
she ran to the door and listened, flinching at the banging, the voice stopped, how can she be so sure it was you? the only way to find out was to open the door, but what if it wasn't you? what then?
she fought with her head, the logical side telling her, what if they lead the zombies in? what if they were bit? but the other side wanting to see you, if it really was you
she cursed to herself, what am i going to do?

Necromancer and Co.
In a time before the existence of the present, the gods decided to create a plane of existence where all their creations could exist in the same place. In it, all would be fair, and all gaps between races and technological advancements could be crossed with a single system that the gods had created. Every year, the gods would choose a new race to put in their land, and in this new group of beautifully unlucky people, Alen, his friends, and a few people from Earth have finally met their turn to be tossed into the playground of the gods. Unfortunately though, Alen was thrust into a forest of corpse-eating bears and horribly smelly undead on his first day, one of the many danger-zones of the continent the gods had chosen to throw them in. It would be easy to say that he simply died within the first day, or that he'd starved to death or whatever, but let's be honest... That story would be no fun to tell, yes? (Re-write of my first fiction with the same name.)
