you opened your eyes as you heard chatter all around you, you grunt "what the? aren't i in my bed..." you thought to yourself
as your rubbed your eyes rid of tiredness, you looked around... this definitely was not your house
there were...people? inside a classroom
then you realized who the people were
they were characters from a korean drama? is this a dream?
you turn around, feeling a stare on you, seeing cheongsan staring at you, quickly looking away after being caught, what the?
well, guess you should enjoy your dream, you stretched out your arms, sighing
"y/n" you hear a quiet voice call out your name, you look up seeing choi namra, the classroom president in the show
"sup prez" you said
"do you have a extra eraser? i forgot mine" you looked around for a bag near your desk, spotting a small bag you grabbed it, looking for one and giving her it
"thank you" she slightly bowed her head, you copied the action and smiled
when you watch her go back to her desk you notice she had two erasers already, you tilted your head confusedly when she placed yours in her bag instead, weird
ms park walks in, having everyone hand in their phones, including you
you sat back at your desk and watched as daesu and onjo get caught with their phones, you laughed silently
"anybody in contact with hyeonju? no one? how about you, y/n?" you looked up at her "you two are close, have you seen her?" what?!
you don't even know anything about her besides her being a bully and turned into a zombie, 'oh, right! maybe i tell her i saw her with mr lee!' you thought to yourself
"uhh no, but i remember seeing her with mr lee in the science room" ms park formed her mouth into a line

"that's weird, ill have to ask him about it after class" ms park continued the discussion, embarrassing suhyeok in the process aswell
anytime now hyeonju will walk in the door...
suddenly the door opened, revealing a bloodied hyeonju "help me..." she whimpered, falling to the ground, ms park quickly running to help her
"hyeonju?! what happened?" "the science teacher...he did this to me..." "mr lee?!" ms park looked at me
"he tried to kill me...gave me a weird shot..." "what shot? can some of you come help? y/n you too" well crap, you planned on sitting this one out, you sat up as did isak suhyeok and onjo
"he grabbed me and locked me up..." suhyeok helped ms park pick her up, we all ran out into the hallway together, ignoring any lingering students
making it to the nurses room you gave an apologetic look towards heesu who sighed and waved you off, holding onto her stomach
you let go and went to her as the nurse looked over hyeonju "are you good?" you asked, even though you already knew
"i-im fine" she lied "just...sick" you patted her shoulder "need me to do anything? i can help you if you want" she shook her head
"ill go to-" she grunted "the bathroom now, bye" she looked at you for a second longer then left, you wished you could do something, but girl needs to give birth...
you turned back to the others, quickly helping them hold them back just as she bit the nurse
after a few minutes the ambulance arrives, isak goes back to the classroom while you onjo and suhyeok help ms park
the three of you start walking back after onjo talks with her dad, you purposely walk faster so onjo can have her moment but you stop when she says your name

"y/n! wait up!" she ran to you, "um, suhyeok, can you leave us alone? you can go ahead" he nodded, waving as he walked off
um? okay... isn't this when she gives him her nametag?
"give me your hand" you hesitately lifted your hand towards her and...she put her nametag in your hand?!
you stare in shock, that was definitely not supposed to happen
"you don't have to answer right now" she said "but please give me a answer soon" she smiled gently, walking up the stairs and tripping, she sighed and got up and ran towards their class
okay... what?!

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
