Sometimes it's hard to breathe

It's hard to let go

To move on

And not look back

Sometimes it's hard to wake up and continue

Fighting, constantly grasping for

the edge of the cliff

Avoiding falling

I built walls around me for support

but mostly to not get hurt

To not get broken into a million pieces

To not be left alone

So how can I just let go?

I'm afraid of the fall,

Afraid of the landing

Afraid of the end and the start of something unknown
