Tomorrow the callback list goes up for Chicago. I'm not worried about it anymore. After all, I don't plan on making a career out of acting; it's merely a hobby of mine. There'll be other chances to showcase my talent anyway. Besides, I need to focus on the more important aspects of my life.
Winter Formal is next Saturday and I have yet to ask Paris. He hasn't mentioned it, but I'm sure he's been wondering how and when I'll ask him. I've been trying to come up with a brilliant and charming way to ask him that's flashier than the typical poster board.
Flashier. The word echoes in my mind over and over, until an idea sparks.

"Can I open my eyes now?" Paris pleads, standing on the sidewalk while I frantically run through my lawn, putting the final touches on my display.
"You're so impatient!" I tease, glancing over my shoulder to ensure that Paris still has his eyes closed. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to sneak a peek. Except, it would ruin the secret surprise I've been working on all day, and I can't let that happen!
Backing up onto the sidewalk, I take in the magnificent sight. It took me quite a few hours and a rather expensive trip to the store, not to mention I had to convince Vanessa to prevent Paris from looking out any of his windows, but I'm delighted with how it turned out. It'll look even better all lit up!
I just hope Paris likes it.
Inching toward Paris, I reach out my hand and grab his, clutching him tightly amidst the darkness. The sun set over an hour ago, allowing an onyx black sky to shroud the horizon. It's the perfect backdrop for what's about to unfold.

"Alright, you can open your eyes in 3...2...1!"
As soon as Paris' eyes blink open, I click a button on the fob in my hand and my home illuminates our entire cul-de-sac, accompanied by Christmas music piping through overhead speakers. Indigo light-up icicles hang from the rain gutters, string lights twinkling every vibrant color of the rainbow adorn the roof, two tall deer lawn ornaments radiate a soft gold shimmer, and in the downstairs window sits six big brightly lit letters that read: "Formal?"
Paris gasps, stunned speechless. Tears brush his pink, blushing cheeks and a few droplets pepper my face too. I try to break through the inevitable snivels by voicing the question affixed to the window.
"Paris, will you be my date to Winter Formal?"
"Yes! Of course!" Paris exclaims, his face beaming like the light show surrounding us. I happily welcome his rushing body into my arms, picking him up and twirling him around the lawn. Paris' dark marble eyes reflect the flashing bulbs, the numerous colors melding into a dreamy kaleidoscope that sends me through visions of cliffside kisses and poetic lines spoken sensually under the covers. I want to replay those moments over and over again until they blur to nothing but Paris and me.

The world isn't fair. If anything, the inherent injustice of the world is what separates it from the fiction we so adore. Luis Freighthold knew this all too well, and that was why it took a bit longer than it should have to realise when he suddenly had everything he could ever have wanted. Raised in a working-class single-father home, Luis had no other escape than fiction. Specifically, vampire stories of varying quality and genre. There was something appealing about the ability to fly, turn into shadows and become smoke. Danger. An unfamiliarity with the social world that rejected him so. Was it so wrong for him to hope for a different life? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, now he had it—a lust for blood and abilities beyond the understanding of civil man. Could you really say that he had anything left to complain about? A vampire story following an unconventional vampire boy forced to accept that maybe becoming a vampire doesn't magically solve all your problems. As a matter of fact, it might just make a whole bunch of them even worse. Regardless, Luis is prepared to try everything to live up to the vampire books he had previously gorged on. What did it matter that his vampire form had no teeth, replaced instead by a long, needle-tipped tongue? He was still a vampire, wasn't he? Chapters are around 10 A4 pages long, releasing once a week on Mondays, 01:00 CET.

GAMMA COLE & THE SILVER WOLF
"Hey Gamma." Alice giggles looking up to me, not even noticing that Jay has gone. Her cheeks have a pink hue to them from all the Vodka, her eyes are full of mischief as she goes to take another sip. I quickly grab the drink from her hand before it can reach her lips and throw it away into a nearby bush without a second thought. "Yeah, you're done with that, Wonderland." I grin at her as she scowls at me."Hey!" Alice protests. She gets to her feet, a little wobbly. Then stands on the log she was just sat on, so she is at my height. She puts her hands on her hips and scrunches up her eyes as if to try and get me into focus. "I'm not scared of you, Gamma! You can't just take a girls drink you know!" She slurs out as she pokes my chest now with an accusing index finger. Anyone else would be in a world of pain for talking to me like this, but all I want to do is pull her into my arms and kiss her till her lips are bruised and swollen. She's fucking adorable when drunk. Not giving a fuck if anyone's watching us or not, I step forward, crowding right into her space making her physically gulp at our proximity."I don't scare you huh?" I growl at her in a deep but quiet voice. She bites her lip, but not out of fear, she likes it when I talk to her like this. "You don't look like the big-bad-wolf to me." She whispers."What do I look like to you?" I rasp out quietly as her fingertips continue featherlight touches to my lips."I don't know...something..." She breathes, her eyes crease with both confusion and fascination.----------Labelled as having a dangerous wild wolf, Alice is left feeling isolated on her family's farm for most of her childhood. However, now she is of age, she can finally follow her dreams and compete to be on the elite enforcers squad and win the heart of long-time crush Beta Jay. That is until the packs Gamma, Cole, takes over her training and flips her life upside down. (This is a slow burn; I hope you enjoy x)
