Toothless p.o.v.

Hiccup had told us to rest until Astrid woke up in order to be ready to look for (y/n) and Stormfly along with the other dragons that where captured. But the more I tried to sleep the more awake my mind became with thoughts of (y/n), the want to be near her and confess my love to her. I feel a wave of guilt and helplessness overcome me, filling my mind with 'what if's' and 'If only'. I feel my self shiver a bit in sadness for not being there when she needed me the most, wondering if she felt lonely or sad right now. I sensed Hiccup stir a bit on the couch in discomfort, he was letting Astrid stay the night here since he was concerned for her. I stay up most of the night thinking about (y/n) until I finally drifted off to sleep.

I'm not sure how much sleep I actually got but I woke up to see Astrid getting out of bed holding her head. She was mumbling Stormfly's name a bit until she looked up from where she was at. She looks at Hiccup then at me standing up in a jolt making her way over to Hiccup shaking him awake saying "Hiccup get up we need to look for Stormfly and (y/n)." She starts to shake him up more frantically, wanting to go out and search immediately. Hiccup gets up a bit surprised and groggily as I get up as well ready to leave.

"Astrid I know your anxious but are you sure your feeling okay to leave." Hiccup asks still concerned over Astrid's well being. He starts to stand up as Astrid response surely.

"Of course I am sure, I could only imagine how Stormfly and (y/n) are doing right now" Astrid says uneasy then starts to make her way to the door with a determined expression. Hiccup jogs a bit towards Astrid catching her arm.

"Astrid I want you to know that none of this was your fault." Hiccup says with sympathy in his voice. Astrid stops at this shivering a bit in either anger or guilt, she clenched her hands in a ball as she starts to mumble again.

"I took them there Hiccup" she says as she grinds her teeth together. Hiccup frowns a bit as he tries to speak again but is interrupted before uttering a word. "If I didn't take them there they would have probably still be here!" she shouts mostly to herself as she looks at the ground with tears threatening to spill.

''Astrid there was no way you could have known that they would be captured" Hiccup says with a gentle tone in his voice. He softly grabs Astrid's chin and turns her towards him as he tells her "Don't blame yourself for something out of your control" as he looks into her eyes with a loving expression. Astrid's tears start to fall as she bites her lower lip a bit, she then hugs Hiccup while she cries on his shoulder trying to let everything out.

"Thank you Hiccup" Astrid eventually says when she calmed down stepping away. "Lets go look for Stormfly and (y/n) now" she says with determination in her eyes.

"Of course. Lets go Toothless" Hiccup turns towards me while Astrid follows behind. We go outside meeting up with everyone else. By the look of it the whole gang was there ready to leave except (y/n)'s brothers.

"About time you guys came out we are all ready to go" Snotlout said with an assured tone and positive posture. Astrid and Hiccup smiled at them and started to move closer to everyone. At that moment both Silvereyes and Firecracker came back landing in front of us looking out of breath and impatient.

"We found a ship" Silvereyes said with a sureness look in his eyes. While Firecracker nodded providing more information "It was in the same direction in which Astrid saw all the other ships go.

"It must have been a lookout ship" I responded with a hopeful tone. 'We have a lead in which they might have taken them' I thought with eagerness. I turn towards Hiccup nudging him a bit in order to get his attention.

"What is it bud" Hiccup asked with a curious expression. I start to make gestures toward the direction Silvereyes and Firecracker where also pointing towards. Hiccup seemed to understand what we where trying to tell him along with the other dragon riders.

"Seems like they found them" Ruffnut said with an excited tone ready to venture off. "Well Silvereyes and Firecracker where looking for them the whole night" Tuffnut added. I looked at them both concerned worried if they would be okay for this mission. They seemed to just brush off my stares flapping their wings getting ready to lead everyone. I understood what they where feeling so I didn't want to push it but also knew that (y/n) wouldn't want them to push themselves either. I promised myself if I saw them getting to tired I would ask them to stop and stay back.

Hiccup started to explain everything on the way there giving instructions about what the plan was. Astrid decided to ride with Silvereyes having more chances to scout more widely. I got a bit of the plan but continued to zone out a bit as time passed. All my thoughts where consumed with (y/n) and what things might be happening to her. The feeling of dread not going away the longer I was apart from her. We eventually took flight to the direction they where last headed towards. We had all been flying at full speed wanting to get there as soon as possible. The rain clouds have been starting to clear out a bit more since everything started to seem lighter. Although some places had a bit of foggy areas.

As we got more close to the area in which we will would be seeing ship soon. We located it in a clearing of the fog, one ship which is probably the lookout for the rest of the fleet. This was confirmed when we heard it blow a horn as soon as it saw us. Hiccup made a motion to everyone signaling that the plan is set in motion as we are moved into four parts getting in every angle around the ships. As me and Hiccup tried to sneak around to see if we could set some dragons free.

'I not going to lose you (y/n)' I think before I get closer to the fleet determined to save (y/n) and Stormfly.

(y/n) p.o.v

"(y/n)" there was a whisper that you could hardly hear what they where saying. "(y/n)" It said louder getting your attention sounding more familiar. "(y/n) wake up!" opening your eyes wide you stand up and look up remembering your current situation. Stormfly is up while looking around the ceiling with a nervous look while you in the other hand are ecstatic to see her up.

"Stormfly your up! you have been asleep for almost 2 days" You tell her with a worried tone but relieved expression as you try to make your way over only to be stopped by the chains holding you back. Stormfly just looks at you a bit shocked before saying.

"Has it really been that long do you know if Astrid is okay?" she says worried as she looks at you with anticipation. You soften your gaze at her as you respond back.

"She's not here but i'm sure the rest of the dragon riders have saved her." She looks a bit pleased as she looks up again. I am curious in what she was looking for so I looked up as well. Then there was a loud clash of various sounds coming from above. We both fix our gaze and ears up as well as the rest of the dragons around us. I glance at Stormfly again as I ask.

"whats going on?" my tone being a bit hopeful wishing it was Toothless. She shakes her head a bit still looking up.

"Im not sure I all of a sudden heard shouts and crashing around like a battle is going on" We both glance at each other having the same thought with hope coming to mind. 'Its them it has to be' We then see the opening to the bunker being blasted off with a lot of wood parts and metal parts flying of with a bit of smoke settling around us. We both turn around shielding ourselves from the debris.

Toothless p.o.v

There are fewer ships than we have expected as we rounded up more and more dragon hunters. We see 3 ships in the middle who they seem to be wanting to protect desperately. Hiccup seems to have the same idea as he then says.

"Everyone surround those 3 ships and free the dragons that are trapped there" he says determined to finish this soon. We all get in our positions as everyone surrounds the 3 ships ready to attack. It seems like Silvereyes and Firecracker are ready and determined to let this mission be a success. Of course the closer we got the more we where being fired at. Me and Toothless snuck around the back of one of the main ships taking out crew men an letting the others get close and take out the chains that wanted to trap them.

There started to be a bit of a commotion with dragon hunters shouting "Nightfury!" causing me to find the bunker faster in order to release the dragons.

Astrid then shows up riding on Silvereyes looking at Toothless concerned. "Hiccup all the other ships showed no signs of Dragons anywhere" She said quite nervously Hiccup looked back at her with confusion while I felt anxiety form in my chest becoming nervous a bit.

"What do you mean? Was everything empty?" Hiccup asked back with a perplexed tone. I could feel him tensed up a bit tightening his hand into a fist a bit. While Astrid kept a concerned look on her face.

"It was all equipment, Weapons and Chains nothing else." Astrid responded as she bit her lip a bit with a nervous look.

Hiccup looks forward with a determined look in his eyes saying "Fire Toothless" In which I wasted no time blasting the door open. A lot of wood pieces went flying everywhere along a smoke and dust getting in the way. I went inside quickly with Silvereyes right behind us.

"Somethings wrong" Astrid stated in a firm tone becoming really alert about her surroundings. When everything settled what we saw was not (y/n) or Stormfly but a lot of Dragon hunter shooting nets and chains at us.

"Its an ambush!" Hiccup shouted as we heard more commotion outside. I blasted fire at them and swerved around trying to make it to the exit but the nets caught both me and Silvereyes.

"How did they know we where coming?" Astrid asked bewildered still trying to get the nets off of them. Hiccup kept looking around for a way out responding to Astrid quickly.

"They may have figured that you survived the attack and made a plan in case we came back looking for them" Astrid looked down a bit with a look of guilt in her eyes maybe feeling that she was responsible for us being trapped. But she then looked up with a look of determination ready to get out of here and save all the dragons that where trapped.

"We are going to get out of here for sure" she stated very seriously trying to find the weakness in these chains. My mind was concerned for (y/n) wondering where they took her and if she's okay. I felt a lump in my throat as I sensed a wave of fear washed over me chills going up my spine. I felt as If something is going to happen and I don't know if its with us or (y/n) and Stormfly. We need to get out of here as soon as possible.

(y/n) p.o.v

As the debris and pieces of wood all settled down I could sense and hear someone enter. I looked up hoping to see Toothless or my brothers but who I saw was the last dragon I wanted to see. I stood up getting in a defensive position with a deadly glare letting out a low growl hoping he would just drop dead then and there. Stormfly looked up from her wing being a bit confused why I looked so frightening taking a defensive stance. She adverted her eyes to the dragon that just entered. She looked shocked asking in an alarming tone

"Is that-"

"Yes" I interrupted her with a low tone making sure to not turn around from this monster as he came closer. All the other dragons around us started to try to get away from him and became restless sensing the danger emanating from both of us. The only thing keeping us apart were the metal bars of the cage. He looked more tougher body wise like he has been training for a while along with a bit more scars around his body must be battle scars. Of course, what would you expect from a Skrill dragon who is more untamed than any other animal alive. He walked towards me stopping in front of the cage still looking straight into my eyes.

He smirked a bit as he stated strongly "Found you"
