I carefully stalked my prey.
He was mumbling to himself about how to ask me if we were friends or if i still despised him. As much as i wanted to listen in on this conversation... And as much as i really (did/didn't) want to listen in, i (did/didn't) want to see him make a fool out of himself.
Prowling, i crept forward, keeping hidden int eh tall grasses. My belly barely scraped the ground and i slowly lifted and lowered my paws, creeping forward. Like a cat, i stalked him, ready to spring at any moment. My muscles decided that moment for me, as they pushed me forward through instincts.
Tackling toothless, we rolled over several times before i was able to pin him on the ground. I have to admit that he wasn't trying very hard to escape though.
"Y/n, would you consider us friends?" Toothless suddenly asked, the question taking me by surprise.
His question took me by surprise. I didn't know how to answer it.
"Well... um... we've only known each other for days." I said, still not quite knowing how to answer the question.
"So... is that a yes?" He asked curiously.
Getting off of him, I looked him squarely in the eye. I didn't know what I was going to say, but apparently my mouth did.
"Um... That's a no. We've only known each other for... What? 11 days? And besides, I know next to nothing about you..." I trailed off, not knowing how to finish the sentence.
Toothless looked dejected.
"Oh. I see." He whispered to himself, looking at the ground. "So if you knew more about me, would you consider me your friend?"
"Yes?" I said hesitantly, the conversation barely registering in my brain before words sprouted out of my mouth.

Toothless's face lit up like the night sky as an idea came to him.
"Alright, if I tell you more about me, we'll be friends! Alright, I'm Toothless! I have a human that helps me fly! My favorite color is-...." Toothless rambled excitedly.
"Woah! Woah! Woah!" I yelled, interrupting Toothless's rant.
He gave me a questioning look mixed with a little bit of hurt.
"We can get to know each other, but I won't remember a word your saying if your going that fast." I said, trying to do something to bring this conversation back under control.
"OK. I. Will. Start. Again. Here. We. Go." Toothless said, putting a pause in between each word. "I. Am. Toothless. I. have. A. Human. That. Helps. Me. Fly."
Gently thwacking him, I grinned.
"Not like that, you goof." I said.
Him giving me a silly look, I continued. "For example, what's your favorite animal-..."
"DRAGON!" Toothless excitedly interrupted me.
"to eat..." I finished, hoping he would change his answer.
"Can fish be considered an animal?" He asked, giving my question thought.
"UM. NO?" I asked, not sure.
"Oh. UM... Sheep then?" Toothless pondered.
"You can tell me about yourself later. I want to go somewhere. Take me somewhere and tell me about yourself along the way." I said, getting restless with just sitting around.
Following Toothless, he starting asking me questions.
"Are we friends yet?" he asked annoyingly.
"Are we friends yet?" he asked again
"Are we friends yet?" he inquired yet again
"Are we friends yet?" I asked, copying him in a mocking way.
Toothless gasped.
"Are you copying me?" He asked
"Are you copying me?" I repeated in the most annoying voice I could muster.

"Ok. If you want to play this game, it's so on." He threatened, grinning a big goofy grin.
"Ok. If you want to play this game, it's so on." I threatened, grinning a big goofy grin back at him.
"I love you." He said, trying go trick me.
"Awe. Thanks. I love me too." I agreed.
"Noooooooo. That's not what you were supposed to say..." Toothless wined.
"Noooooooo. You totally won this war by saying that..." I winded in the exact same tone Toothless had used.
With a huff, Toothless stopped walking. "Here we are." He said, looking proud of himself for having brought me somewhere.
I looked around. We were in the middle of nowhere.
"WE're in the middle of nowhere." I pointed out.
"NO, we're in the middle of Berk, in case you hadn't noticed." Toothless teased.
"Save the sass for later." i told him, looking around.
We were really in the middle of nowhere.
"Take 10 paces to your left." Toothless commanded.
Doing as he said, i counted out my paces as i walked.
"1. 4. 8. 10!" i said.
Looking around me, i had exited the middle of nowhere, and had emerged to the edge of a cliff. And this cliff didn't face something very pleasant. It overlooked a human village more than a mile away.
"Welcome to my favorite place on the entire island. I hope one day when your wing is healed, you will take me to your favorite place in the world." Toothless said seriously.
Even though we weren't friends right now, i kinda hoped that one day we would be...
And i now knew more about him than i did before, so... Toothless and i would be friends sooner than i thought. Not that i minded... He seemed like a nice dragon...
And you can't leave out the most important detail... He was cute.

Dear Spellbook (Link to rewrite in blurb)
A rewrite of this story has been posted here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/49881/dear-spellbook-a-fantasy-time-loop-rewrite Live. Study. Repeat. Tal is a sorcerer in a world where they are killed on sight, traveling with a man charged with carrying out the task. Every night Tal must pretend to study his spellbook to maintain his disguise as a Wizard’s Apprentice. If his disguise slips and his charade is uncovered, it will be his death. Seeking answers to mysteries that arose after his parent’s murder, Tal must accept any allies, no matter the risks, to uncover his family’s secret. But when he wakes up one morning to find himself trapped repeating the same day, he has to overcome his challenges all on his own. This story is an adaptation of a D&D campaign I ran but never was able to complete. I tried to capture the feel of a table-top RPG session —tropes and humor— without relying on the mechanics. This is not a litRPG or gamelit story and no D&D mechanics or system appear in the game. It follows one member of an adventuring party as he deals with the problems with that arise from being an adventurer. Namely, getting roped into adventures. The story has a time loop element, but will eventually move past that. This story explores the magic systems, the history, and the lore of the world through the lens of Tal's entries in his Spellbook and interludes from other written works in the world. New entries on Mondays Credit to JackOfHearts for the cover.

Et Non Lucem
A lonely fortress, a (slightly) deranged assassin, secrets, intrigue, magic and war. What could possible go wrong? If you've ever wondered what would happen if somebody attempted to blend a realistic medieval world with fantasy, then this is for you. If you've ever wondered what happens when you stick some (extremely) flawed humans into positions of power and try making them save the world, then this story is for you. Or if you're simply bored and can't seem to decide on a new story to read, then this story is for you! This is my first ever attempt at writing a story after years and years of reading, so any and all constrictive criticism is appreciated!

(un)Lucky
After dying on his hospital bed, Jack is surprised to once again regain consciousness. Turns out he’s in purgatory where he learns that God has been pretty into gaming lately… you already know where this is going, don’t you? Yeah, yeah, I know, another LitRPG story like many others. SO original… But why then do we keep reading them and looking for more? The answer, for me at least, is because they’re usually just plain fun. That’s all I hope my story can be: fun. No fixed releases for now, nor any future plans. I’m just trying to enjoy my time writing it. Btw, the cover is something random I did and has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Don’t ask me why.

This gift would allow her to become something, to be someone in the world. To not be the kid whose parents have left her to fend for herself since she was ten. When the new game, Core Microsystem, came out, there was a twist. A twist that changed a lot of people’s lives. When a player went to create their character sheet, a random generator would offer them the chance to become a dungeon core in this new world. Watch as Amara creates her dungeon and how that affects her life in the real world.

Life is Feudal
No OP stuff, status bars, levels or skills. This story is in favour of more realistic setting in a world of humans and various monsters. "Behind the mask of the assertive, resolute facade that employs ruthless routes at any given moment, lies the frail, anxious heart that were once but a puny human. Reviled and revered by many, none would ever know my true allegiance lies within myself, merely trying to survive this mess." Just the life of a grumpy man child living in a terrible piece of shit or a desolate state in which I call an alternate historical take on medieval Europe. Living as a peasant who is forced to take up arms to defend his own kin. This story grants an insightful take on the life of people living under constant danger, from vying nobles who commit atrocities in the name of justice, eager nations and barbarians aiming to take a piece of the bountiful land and mythical divine monsters who resembles a walking catastrophe in any possible way. [If you're easily offended by alternate-history religion and cultural practices, then you shouldn't read this.]
