《Reader x Toothless (how to train your dragon) Toothless x Reader》Just Peachy

I walked into the dragon training arena. I needed to get toothless. I had some errands I needed to run as chief of berk and didn't want to burden Astrid by asking for help.
There was a crowd around the holding room where we were keeping Y/n for the time being. Everyone wanted to see Y/n since there was going to be an event tomorrow. Everyone would get to try and train Y/n, and hopefully she would choose someone to be her master. Hopefully. So far, not even I have had any luck training her. And Mom hasn't gotten the chance to try since she had to fly a 5 day journey to pick up herbal supplies for Y/n's ribs.
At the center of the crowd was... fishlegs? Warding off the crowd? What in the name of Oden's beard was going on?
FIshlegs of all people, would have been the one in there trying to inspect Y/n. SO, why was he holding back the crowd from seeing her?
I pushed my way to the center of the crowd.
"Fishlegs, what in the name of Oden's beard is going on!?" I shouted above the roar of the crowd.
"Everyone wanted to try and tame Y/n early. And I wanted to take a look at her and inspect her. But her and toothless are having some quality time together as mates, so I don't want anyone to interrupt them." Fishlegs said.
"Quality time as... Nevermind. I'll just ask toothless about it later." I said to FIshlegs.
I'd deal with this mess. And then I needed to feed Y/n and Toothless. And get Toothless out. My errand would have to wait.
Y/n made me happy. She was perfect. Everything about her just left me speechless. I growled at fishlegs because I knew he would want to inspect Y/n. She didn't trust humans in the least, and wouldn't trust them any more if Fishlegs was poking around her. I just wanted her to trust me, and the humans that serve us. If i could just get her to understand...
The small human door swung open, bathing the room in light. A human-sized shadow stood in the doorway.
"Toothless, come here for a second. I think you'll like this surprise."
Hiccup was here! Yay! No. Yay! No. Yay! No. Yay! No. I want him here. But I don't want him here. Ug. Fine. I'd go over and see what he wants.
I walked over to Hiccup, swaying my hips incase Y/n was watching. I once heard Hiccup mention to me that he liked Astrid's hip sway when she walked. Hopefully the same applied to dragons.
Hiccup backed out the human door, and giant happy human smile on his face. I stuck my head out the human door and there was a pile of fish. Hiccup leaned in close to my ear.

"If you bring her fish, she might like you even more bud." Hiccup said quietly enough that Y/n wouldn't overhear.
I grinned happily at Hiccup. I hadn't thought of that!
I happily scarfed down all of the fish. I was uncomfortably full, but that would change when I gave Y/n half of it. I turned around and walked back to Y/n. I was so happy I couldn't contain my joy. A stupidly happy dragon grin was plastered on my face. I tried to hide my happiness but it was impossible.
I sat in front of Y/n. I started coughing up the fish and threw up about half of it.
"A gift! for you!" I chortled excitedly. I looked from her to the fish and back to her. She blinked at me with her big (e/c) eyes. I let my tongue hang out of my mouth in a goofy grin.
One word to describe toothless. Stupidly naïve. So maybe that was two words, but it was true.
He trusted humans. And what was with that hip sway? Girl dragons did that to impress the boys. Not the other way around. Although, I had to admit, it did look kind of... No. I can't think that way. He was naïve. And he was offering me fish. Didn't he grow up in a dragon clan and know what that meant? Offering fish to a different species was okay. Offering fish to the same sex as yourself was okay. But offering fish to the opposite sex in the same species was a mating proposal. Any dragon who grew up in a dragon society would know this. So either he was naïve or he wanted to be my mate. If I accepted the fish, I would become his mate for life.
I don't want to be his mate. I just met him. And I was trapped. If I was going to accept a mating proposal, I was going to do it under the star lit sky and in the most romantic place I could imagine.
But... It was still a mating proposal. I had to be nice. Even if I was turning him down.
"Um. Toothless. I'm sorry. But we just met so I can't accept." I said quietly. I made eye contact with him while saying it.
Heh looked genuinely confused and hurt for a moment. I thought I had let him down easy...
"Can't Accept what? The fish? Why? Are you not hungry?" He asked, concerned.
He. Uh. He. He didn't know. Unless he was playing dumb. This was embarrassing. I opened my tail and hid my face and growing embarrassment. My eyes were just above my tail so I could see him.
"Um. Toothless. Don't you know? Since I'm a girl and you're a boy. And we're both night fury dragons. Um. Well." I couldn't continue. The embarrassment made my voice strained and I was so quiet it was almost a whisper.

"Well. So what are you trying to say?" He asked, poking me to see if I was okay.
"You. Um. The fish. That was a mating proposal you just offered me. Didn't you know that?" I asked, looking at the ground.
"W-what? A-a-a m-mating proposal?" Toothless asked, sounding completely surprised.
I looked up at him. He was shocked and blushing 50 different shades. I was probably blushing just as much.
"I. Uh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it in that way. I just thought you were hungry, and I didn't think you'd take it if the humans gave it to you."
That comment made me snap out of the blushing daze I was in. I had no time to be embarrassed. I had to escape. And this dragons wasn't worth my blushing. He liked the humans. I was hungry, but I was not going to take food from him. I would be able to get my own as soon as I escaped.
My eyes turned into slits and I shot all my plasma blasts at the door.
"I want out. Nothing else. I want out." I growled, my eyes pleading with toothless.
I stalked over to a corner and glared at him. I laid down and kept my eyes fixed on him. He didn't make a move toward me. He laid down right where he was. He looked sad a depressed. He his his face in his wing so I couldn't see his emotions. I kinda felt... Bad?
I closed my eyes and when I opened them again, the giant door was opening! The giant one! I would be able to get out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He looked so happy and accomplished that he had brought me fish. He looked so happy. Who could refuse a face like that???
Besides. I needed to sweeten him up so the escape would be flawless. I could always back out of the mating proposal later. Claim that I didn't know. Fly away. Never be seen again. There were ways I could probably get out of it.
And... I was hungry. My stomach decided my fate.
I plastered a happy smile on my face. I smiled falsely at Toothless. I gobbled down the fish. The fake smile turned into a real one as I ate the fish. It was delicious! And I would be stronger and have a better escape of i kept my energy up.
I had bundles of energy. I was excited and pumped for our escape later. But why wait? Why not try now! I'm sure with our combined forces we could blast open the door!!! Yeah!!! Teamwork!!!
"Toothless! I'm excited and have wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much energy!" I said excitedly!
He grinned a big goofy grin at me.
"I need to stretch my wings! Let's get out of here and go flying !" I said even more excitedly. I needed to sound energetic about flying with him so he would help me get out. And then after we were free... We'd see what happened then when we got that far.
"I don't know. Hiccup wouldn't like that." Toothless said, a bit sad.
I put on a dragon pouty face.
"Awe. Pwease? I really really want to go flying with you." I said in my cutesy pleading voice.
Frankly, I wanted to fly anywhere at all. I was tired of being cramped up in this odd cave.
"FIne." He chuffed.
I started shooting at the wall. He shot in synchronization with me, furthering the impact. On my last shot, as the dust cleared, there was a hole big enough for a dragon to fit through. Yes! My brilliant plan worked.
I turned to toothless and smiled a genuine smile.
I was finally going to be free!
I wanted the fish.
.
.
.
And I didn't want it.
.
.
.
But I wouldn't have to decide.
.
.
.
Toothless turned his back on me. And in that moment...
.
.
.
I used my powers as alpha to call a whispering death.
.
.
.
Now all I had to do was wait. And hope Toothless didn't interfere.
The fish on the ground by my feet was disappeared as a hole appeared. I had ordered the whispering deaths to make me a tunnel connecting to the surface. I jumped down into the hole created for me, my body making a graceful arc. I walked through the tunnel. It was hard not to bound down the hole, but I didn't want to unstable the dirt.
Toothless walked behind me.
"Where are we going?" He asked curiously.
"To the surface." I responded coldly.
"But we were on the surface a little bit ago." He argued.
"Let me rephrase that. We're going to where I can be free and fly away, on the surface." I growled at him.
"Oh. You're going to leave me?" He asked sadly.
I was. But i didn't have to say it. He didn't need to know my plans and intentions.
I spotted light up ahead.
"LIGHT!" I screamed excitedly. I raced to the light. I was going to be free!

A Titan's Crusade
Erik Thayne spent most of his life being brutally ridiculed and tormented for his weight and physical appearance, among other things. A social pariah and diagnosed with an eating disorder no one has an explanation or treatment for, Erik spent years trying to overcome his issues with his personal image and escape the ridicule and vicious torment of his peers. After years of dedicated effort, and a fresh start in a town away from his childhood and adolescent tormentors, he had finally begun to truly realize what he'd been striving for all along. Only, fate apparently has other plans because in the blink of an eye, Erik found himself snatched from Earth and taken to another universe, another world, where he is offered the chance to be more than he'd ever imagined. Now, he has to fight to restore the Balance between Chaos and Order on a world of swords and magic, in a universe governed by the System's laws, which resemble those of RPGs from Earth. Erik learned to embrace the things about himself that others taught him to hate, using them to reforge his physical identity into something more removed from his old self-loathing. But can he learn to embrace the darkest parts of his mind just as he did the reviled aspects of his body and become who he needs to be to succeed in the task set before him? It might just prove easier to stalk in the dark as a monster than to walk in the light as a man... *This is my first time publishing anything I've written to a public audience. Due to formatting issues, I forwent traditional stat-screens for something a little less problematic, delineating stat screens by separating them from regular text with horizontal lines in a lighter-grey coloration. Let me know if you like them or not. Criticism is entirely welcome, but please don't hate on my work after only reading 1 chapter. This is a writing project I intend to complete but I have committment problems so we'll see how long this goes on. Also, fair warning, as the description implies, the main protagonist is intended to be someone who has been treated cruelly, developed antisocial tendencies, and ultimately has to question his own humanity--or lack thereof. This story is not intended to be brutally dark but I will definitely be trying to follow a darker theme. It is intended to be violent and some scenes later in the story might be...alarming. There will likely also be some light, non-graphic (think more implied with crude jokes and conversation than actual details, there will be no full-blown sex scenes)relationship scenes planned later and if you're opposed to either a bisexual or gay main character, stay away. I haven't yet decided which way he's going to swing but the odds on him being straight are relatively miniscule, and I've always wanted to write a story about a gay man who basically looks like a lumberjack because who doesn't like giving conventional stereo-types the middle finger? This will NOT be a harem story, and I have no intention to focus on romance over action--it's a consequence of character development where I'm concerned, not the be-all-end-all of the story. The cover-art does not, in any way, belong to me. It was an image titled the Druid King (by duskanmarkovic according to the file name) which I found on Google Images. Until I can get something commissioned, this is the best stand-in image I could find.
