Summary:

After a raid that almost cost him his life, Hiccup tried to gain the village's trust and their forgiveness for unintentionally injuring three young children.

With a reputation of being a nuisance to his village, Hiccup wished things were different.

Neglected by his own tribe,and his own father, Hiccup begins to fall into depression.

His life changes when he encounters a dragon in the woods- the legendary night fury.

Determined, he tries to shoot it down and finally make his chief father and the village proud.

When he couldn't give himself to kill a dragon, Hiccup learns dragons aren't as bad as they seem.
