(Marco's POV)
I heard noises, feet going over the bridge next to the river.
I pushed Reed into the water just before a girl, my age, came over to me. "Oh hello, it's a nice day isn't it? What are you doing by the river?" She had pale gold hair and deep, ocean-blue eyes. Her dress was made of fine material that was almost impossible too afford.
"Ouh, uh I'm just fishing." I replied, smiling. "I'm on the run.... Can you.... Help me?" She asked this in an awkward tone. "Eh? Well why are you on the run?" She sighed and looked around. "Meet me at the beach in a few hours...." I turned my head towards the beach for a second and then back at the girl but she was gone....
Reed climbed back out of the water. "Hmph! I'll get you back for that! Don't just push me in without warning!" Reed smirked. I looked away and started fishing again after smirking.
I felt two arms grab me around the waist and hold me up. "Eh!?" Before another sound could slip into my mouth Reed dropped me into the river.
He slowly went in while I attempted too stand, my chin reached the top when I stood up. Reed could stand easily and you could see just below his shoulders! How did he fit when I pushed him in?! I didn't think about it that much.
I splashed some water at him and he ducked, I then tried to jump onto him. He stepped backwards before I fell into his arms and banged my head into something hard.
I woke up to hear sobbing, crying and someone saying my name. I opened my eyes and saw Reed, tears streaming down his face.

He must have thought I died.... I sat up, my head still spinning. "M-marco?" He whispered. I crawled over too him and he kissed me on the cheek. "What happened?" I asked weakly, I didn't get an answer, he just licked my lips until I opened my mouth. He gave me a passionate kiss. It was so soft, so warm, so right.
He stopped and hugged me. I was on the riverbank, it was cold and damp. I started too shiver and Reed held me even tighter too him. His body was warm and comforting. I wrapped my arms around him.
I lay down and tried to relax after a few minutes of cuddling. Then suddenly Reed was on top of me. His hand going down my torso....

Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit.
