《Helluva Boss: Hellish Love (Loona X Original Character)》Chapter 66: Truth Seekers Part 2

10 minutes later Loona and I get up and Loona opens up the portal and Millie walks inside happily. I saw Moxxie then begin walking towards the portal when Blitzo tackled him and shouted "GET DOWN!" All three of us on the other side of the portal watched as two unknown humans dressed like men in black agents pull out net portals, on one them zip lined down surrounding them. Blitzo then yelled "LOONA CLOSE IT!" Loona frantically flicked through the pages of the book and then closed the portal, Millie then ran towards the closing portal yelling "Wait, No!" but the portal had closed and all that was left was a bare wall.
I stood there shocked and upset that we just left Blitzo and Moxxie to fend for themselves and Millie certainly wasn't handling leaving her husband up there either as she was crying and screeching as she punched at the wall, she then collapsed at the wall and said "Shit, shit, shit, shit!" Loona looked uneasy and asked Millie awkwardly "You uh, you okay there?" Millie then angrily said to her "What're you doing sitting there?! The boys are in trouble, open it again" Loona replied " Blitzo was using a total of zero euphemisms, innuendos or swears that means that it was serious which means that I don't open it until-" Loona was cut off by Millie grabbing her collar and shouting at her face "OPEN THE FUCKING PORTAL NOW!" I then spoke up and said "Millie is right we can't just leave them up there, then again we can't just go up unprepared either, Loona did Blitzo have some sort of emergency plan if shit hits the fan?" Loona then said "Blitzo has an emergency bag, but I don't know what's in it" Millie then said "All right well if we're going up there, Carter is right we need to prepare!" The three of us then began to prepare to head up to the human world, Loona grabbed the emergency backpack and then Millie grabbed her double edged battle axe, and I simply changed my clothes back to my all black outfit for stealth reasons but kept my glasses on as I thought that they were cool.

Once we were ready Loona and I both turned into our human disguises ad she opened the portal and we went through. Once through we were back in the alleyway where we last saw them, Millie then started to tear up and she collapsed once again and said "They aren't here" Loona then picked up Millie above her head and bent over to smell the floor and said "It smells like they went this way" Loona then placed Millie in the back pack and she held my hand and said "Come on lets find the dumbass twins" As we began to run I shouted "Lets find these Men In Black looking fucks and kick their asses!" Millie smiled and said "Thats the spirit Carter!"
After about 30-40 minutes of tracking their scents we ended up up at this high-rise looking prison of sorts with a big sign that read D.H.O.R.K.S, we hid behind a wall and peeked around the corner and saw two guards with sharp spears and I said "Why the fuck are these guys using spears and not guns? It would make more sense" Millie then asked Loona "This where they ended up?" Loona replied I think so...fuck this looks intense how are we going to get in?" I then looked at Loona confused and said "Babe it's literally two guys with spears vs two hellhounds and an Imp with a battle axe, I'm sure we can take them?" Loona then said "Carter I agree with you without doubt but we need to be stealthy which means sneaking in and fighting only if we need to" I nodded and simply replied fair enough". Millie then said "Hey Loona lift me up to that vent" Loona did so and Millie climbed through and then a few moments later she opened the door from the other side and Loona and I began to run through the building.

We came across two more guards, this time these guys had katanas, and we decided to sneak past them on our toes and then continued to run through the halls. As we did an alarm went off, no doubt someone possibly spotted us on a camera somewhere. We then got surrounded by agents wielding everything from bladed to blunt weapons, obviously everything Japanese in origin was my assumption. We then began attacking them, Loona cut off a guys leg with the battle axe and Mille pulled a gun from somewhere and shot a guy in the head and I slid through a guys legs whilst I punched him in the balls and watched as her curled up into a ball on the floor and screamed. Millie then took the axe off Loona and cut another guard down the middle, Loona tried to karate kick a guard but he dodged her kick, I jumped over the guy and I kicked his knew breaking it. The guy screamed in pain and Millie silenced him by snapping his neck and we continued on.
We came down a hallway with a massive iron blast door which was heavily guarded and they tried to close the door, as we continued to run for it Millie said to Loona "Throw me!" Loona threw Millie as far as she could and just before the door closed Millie slid under it and we heard carnage on the other side until the door opened to reveal dismembered corpses and Millie standing proudly. Loona smirked and said "Damn you're pretty agile for an old lady" To which Millie replied back annoyed "I'm like five years older than you" I chuckle and said "You're not old to me" and I winked jokingly to which Millie gasped and went along with my joke and said "I saw that". After a bit more fighting and running through hallways we came across a door which was password protected, we all stared at it and I noticed that the number 1 was used extensively and the other buttons were not used at all and I said "You have got to be shitting me this cannot be real right?" Millie then said "Try one" and Loona pressed the number one five times which automatically unlocked the door, opening it and we went inside. I commented and said "For a government like agency these guys are fucking stupid to have a door code like that" Millie then said "Well that's humans for ya" I then replied "Hey I used to be one you know?"

It is not an easy task to balance the strain on her soul with the demands of the upcoming battle. In this world, the soul is not an incorporeal concept. To the contrary, the human soul is a physical object, an organ which resides in the chest of each individual. It is a great source of strength, but also of vulnerability. Hardship can leave scratches and blemishes, or even break the soul in two. The soul is each person's connection to divinity, to the magic which is ubiquitous to the world. It enables the cultivation of gods, but old legends warn of demons emerging in the presence of corrupt intention, and of hollow warriors, with no soul at all. There are two sides to every page.
