《Helluva Boss: Hellish Love (Loona X Original Character)》Chapter 62: Carter Goes To Surprise His Mom

An hour later after borrowing two books, one being the Hellhound preagnacy guide and the other being Blitzo's bloody horse encyclopedia we were back at the office. Blitzo ran inside his office and slammed the door behind him, we heard him giggling from obvious enjoyment of his book, Loona and I headed into our bedroom and loona threw the book on our bed. I turned to Loona and said "I feel like changing into something different before we head out" Loona look surprised and said "You changing? Into a different outfit other than your turtleneck? Here I thought you only had one outfit" I laughed and said "Well you're one to talk aren't you?" Loona laughed also and punch my shoulder slightly and said "Fair enough babe". I walked over to the wardrobe and picked out and outfit from the clothes that I brought back down to hell with me from the rented apartment before I killed myself.
I chose to go with a denim 70's look with Lennon styled glasses and bellbottoms and all. I shifted into my human self and got changed since I was obviously bigger in my hellhound form and wouldn't fit any of my clothes. Once I was dressed I turned to Loona and asked her "Hey love how do I look?" Loona went wide eyed and blushed when she saw me and said "Woah not going to lie, I dig it. Like wow you're hot!" I scoffed and said jokingly " I honestly can't look that good" and walked towards the full length mirror to the right of the wardrobe and I stared at myself. I felt happy, even though I love my hellhound form and have gotten used to it by now, I still miss seeing my actual face every now and then. I decided tp pull out my phone and take a selfie, I then saved it and then set the picture to Loona and said "Here there's one for you to keep of me also".

After that we left our bedroom and went into the reception area. Loona pulled out the Grimoire and began reciting a spell, I couldn't understand it since it was in a language that I didn't recognize though it kinda sounded like Latin. Afterwards a pentagram appeared on the carpeted floor and a portal opened and peering through it it was located in an alleyway. Loona then shifted into her human disguise and then I held her hand and then asked her "Are you ready love?" Loona smiled and then said "As ready as I will ever be" We then jumped into the portal and doing so I yelled out "Geronimo!". As we exited out on the other side of the portal we ended up in an alleyway, it was cold and the brick walls plastered with graffiti. As we left the alleyway and onto the street with people walking by, a police car with lights and sirens on passed by.
Loona and I turned our heads as we saw not that far down from where we were standing was a corner convenience store where a group of chavs had a box of Tetley's and we heard one of then yell out "Oy lads fuckin cops are here, book it!" and they each took off in different directions. Loona asked me "What was that?" I shrugged and said "My guess a bunch of chav's just robbed the store for a case of Tetley's Ale" Loona shrugged herself and then asked "So how far to reach your Mom?" I then replied "It's literally a five minute walk. I believe that I told you before about how I told Mom to move into my cousins house?" Loona then thought about it and replied "Oh yeah I think I remember you telling me that". Loona and I then began walking down the street. After five minutes Loona and I made it outside of the house of my cousins. It looked like cousins and my aunt and uncle were out as there cars were not in the driveway. But I knew that my Mom was in since my car that I gave her was there. We then walked towards the front door and then I sighed and looked at Loona and then said "Well here goes nothing" and then I knocked three times in the white door with the number 16 on it.

After waiting for a few seconds I could hear the muffled voice of my Mom say "Just a minute I'm in the kitchen" and then through the fogged glass of the door I saw her approach the door, she was wearing a green dress with her white apron with flowers on. I took a deep breath and Mom unlocked the door and opened it and gasped placing her hands on her mouth ad she began to cry. I caved in and began to cry too and said "Hello Mom" she then wrapped her arms around me and began to cry into my chest. I then kissed the top of my moms head and rubbed her back and I whispered to her "I told you that I would see you again, come on now lets head on inside". Mom, Loona and I then headed inside and then we all sat down on the brown leather settee's in the living room, with Mom sitting opposite us on another settee.
My Mom did nothing but smile and said with joy "Oh Carter it's so good to see you again, how have you been?!" I smiled and then replied "I have been good Mom, in fact things as of recent have been pretty crazy" Mom looked intrigued and asked "oh how so?" And I replied back "Well for one this one you will not believe, I became friends with John Lennon" Mom then went wide eyed and said "Carter fuck off you're not friends with John Lennon" I turned to Loona and she replied to my Mom "It's true Mrs. Ryan, here take a look at this" Loona then shows the recent video of John and I rocked out and duetting Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.
