It's lunch, the best part of the school day.

I sit down next to my brother at our normal table, Hazel hesitates to sit down at Walker's table but does eventually. Why is she avoiding me?

"Cole?" I turn to look at him

"Yeah?" Cole replies

"What happened between you and Hazel?" I ask

"We didn't work out" Cole hesitates but shrugs to look like he doesn't care

"Idiot" I face palm

I stand up and walk over to Hazel. She looked a little shocked but kinda glad for some reason. I look at her with anger and a little sadness behind it, I miss her and she's been going at it with the guy that kidnapped me!

"I need to talk to you" I harshly say

"Whatever you need to say you can say here" Walker smirks towards me

"You better keep your Jerk of a boyfriend away from me!" I snap at Hazel

She looks confused and stunned but I don't care. She can't honestly not know anything about this, she's not that stupid. I grab her arm and drag her into the hallway

"I missed you" Hazel smiles

"Cut the crap Hazel!" I snap

"What?" She still acts confused

"Are you clueless or something?" I question

"What's going on?" She asks

"You and Walker!" I snap again

"Oh sorry, yeah, Cole broke up with me and then Walker asked me out" She shrugs

"Are you freaking crazy!" I shout

"What's wrong with Walker?" Hazel tilts her head

"He KIDNAPPED ME! I was making out with him! He's helping CHASE!" I scream

I'm pretty sure the whole school can hear this but at this point, I don't care!

"H- He wouldn't do that..." Hazel defends him

"Why do you think I haven't been in for days" I'm furious

"I- he- but-"

"HE'S INSANE AND YOUR INSANE FOR SAYING YES TO THAT DOUCHE BAG OF A GUY" I'm screaming at the top of my lungs

"MAYBE YOUR JUST JEALOUS THAT I HAVE A BOYFRIEND AND YOU DON'T" Hazel screams back at me

Oh she did not just go there

"I WOULD NEVER BE JEALOUS OF HIM AND YOU, YOUR CLEARLY LOOSING YOUR MIND" I'm suddenly feeling dizzy

I see my brother and his gang run into the hallway, everyone else falls behind them. What is happening right now? I see Zed and Walker both slowly make their way to the front of the crowd

"Oh great! Just what I needed! BOTH JERKS IN THE SAME PLACE" I say, pointing at Walker and Zed

"Maddie, Calm down" Zed quietly speaks to me for the first time

"WHY? WHY SHOULD I? I'VE BEEN SO QUIET FOR A WHILE NOW AND I THINK I NEED TO TELL EVERYONE THE TRUTH" I'm still screaming at the top of my lungs and they are starting to burn like hell

"Maddie, don't!" Zed pleads

I can't do this, not now

"Maddie, you need to accept that me and Walker are a thing" Hazel speaks up

I turn back to face her, I thought she was my friend. My only friend at this stupid school!

"YOU NEED TO ACCEPT THAT I DON'T NEED YOU, I DON'T NEED ANYONE AT THIS POINT! MAYBE I DON'T EVEN NEED TO BE HERE BECAUSE ALL I'VE BEEN GIVEN IS CRAP AND BULLSHIT THAT IS CONFUSING THE HELL OUT OF ME" I look at Hazel and then Zed and Walker

Before I could get another word out, my vision blurs, my head is spinning and I'm suddenly not feeling all that great. My feet start moving and I don't know why but I think I'm walking towards Zed?

I stand there while Maddie has a full on screaming match against Hazel and Me including Walker. She seems a little out of it and the next thing I know, she's walking towards me looking suddenly pale.

"Maddie?" I whisper to her

She falls but I catch her. What happened to her? I swear if Walker or chase did something to her then I'm going too—

"Thanks Zed" Max says, crouching down beside me; looking at Maddie who is now in my arms

I stand up and carry her bridal style, the boys shoo everyone away but Hazel and Walker stay. I'm furious that Hazel and Walker have done this to her! They will pay I swear

"What did you do!" I snap at Hazel

"Nothing" she snaps back

"Why were you arguing like that?" Payton steps in front of me, looking at Hazel

"Because me and Hazel are dating" Walker steps in

Great! Just what we needed.... NOT

"You really are insane" Zack chuckles

"What is so bad about this?" Hazel ask's innocently like she hasn't just been listening to Maddie's screaming

"He kidnapped her!" I shout at her

Hazel honestly looked horrified at the fact, she's seriously so dumb! I look down at Maddie and stroke her cheek

"I'll take Maddie home" I state

"Okay, I'll meet you there" Max nods

I nod and start waking to the parking lot, I don't know why she fainted but I'm worried that this isn't just sudden. I know I'm supposed to be mad at her but I honestly can't be mad at her, she's one of the only thing I have and I can't let her go... she's my everything now. Maybe that scares me so much that I keep pushing her away but I also keep pulling her closer to me and that's my fault.

It's like the day we first kissed, I was the one to push her away and then ended up at her bedroom door in the middle of the night, I was the one to kiss her outside the house. I'm the cause of all of this and she hasn't given up on me... so I'm never going to give up on her because if I do, I'll be giving up on myself too.
