I walked up the stairs of the police station, my hands trembling with fear. Cerelia held my arm to comfort me. We approached an older women at her desk, she wore the black police uniform with the hat sat neatly on her left. Her hair was slicked back in a bun whilst she was busy typing her life away.
"Hiya, how can I help?" She asked warmly,
"I would like to file a restraining order." I stuttered nervously, Cerelia rubbed my back to indicate that it was okay.
"Can I just take your name please?" The policewoman brought out a post it and a black biro to write down my name.

"Breathe Azia." I gestured a big breath in and a big breath out, I could tell Azia was nervous about the trial. Months have passed since she filed for a restraining order against Chloe. Videos and photos have surfaced showing Chloe physically assaulting Azia whilst belittling her horribly. I felt sick to my stomach as I sat on the benches and watched the screen present photos of the injuries Azia had sustained. Many tears were shed, anger boiling on her defence team, Chloe had a disgusting smirk slapped across her face. The nerve of that woman.
"Now Miss Jones, could you tell me how Miss Mendoza had sustained these bruises?" Aura, Azia's defence lawyer, asked
"Her necklace got stuck and she probably choked." Chloe said firmly,
"Your honour, as we examine the evidence A, there is evident strangulation marks on either side of my client's neck, a necklace could not leave such marks as shown and would definitely break from the amount of force needed."
There were nods exchanged amongst the jury, Cerelia grasped my hand harder, I rubbed her hand with my thumb to calm her.

"Then it's probably photoshop or makeup." Chloe blurted out,
"And what makes you believe that the submitted evidence is fake," Aura walked towards the podium, staring down Chloe,
"A lot of people do it nowadays, i wouldn't be surprised if she did it too." Chloe laughed like a maniac,
"Tell me Miss Jones, are you familiar with the case regarding Auberon Sinclair?"
"No..." Chloe stuttered, Aura switched the screen to a cctv footage of Auberon and Chloe.
"You were seen giving a stack of money outside of Gilbert's food house at Covent Garden? What was this money for?" She asked,
"I Uh." Chloe broke out into cold sweat as her face started to redden,
"Miss jones?" Aura interrupted,
"What relationship did you have with Mr Sinclair?" His name was like poison, the more I heard it, the more my body started to break down.
Whispers and glances were thrown around in the jury as Chloe broke down in a cold sweat.
"I dont know him..."
"Why were you giving Mr Sinclair money?" Aura flipped through the files in her hands.
"That's not me." Chloe laugh nervously,
"You're facing up to 7 years for domestic violence."
"He's my brother, and I paid him to get rid of Eleena, she's a fucking bitch." Chloe snapped.
The courtroom erupted in cries and murmurs. Cerelia's mouth hung open as Acacia hugged me tightly.
Chloe jumped off the witness box trying to reach me,
"Order!" The judge screamed, whacking her wooden hammer onto the table.
"Take her away," the police dragged Chloe in handcuffs away from us.
