"Thank you for tonight." The streetlights along with the car headlights illuminated the dark roads ahead. It was incredibly silent, but this time it wasn't awkward.
"No problem, I'm sorry if my mum was being kinda invasive earlier," I answered,
"It's fine don't worry," her free hand squeezed my thigh gently,
"I'm serious, you really don't need to apologise Zia."
"Okay." I said timidly, the girl sat in the passenger seat innocently, acting like she didn't just read me as easily as an open book. This was becoming a very dangerous game to play.
"We're here." I parked my car just outside her house and took out the keys.
"Thank you again for tonight...both the tutoring and the dinner." Eleena played with her hair shyly as we approached her front door.
"You're welcome, same time tomorrow?" I asked,
"Yep, we can do the art project at my house since the plans are on my desk."
"Awesome, see you tomorrow."
"See you." The white door shut in front of me and I stood there silently. That didn't go too bad for our first tutor session.

My heart was racing all this adrenaline has made me shaky and overwhelmed. Why do I feel so...happy?
"Ah Eleena you're home, how was the tutoring?"
"Good evening Maria it was good, she's not a total pain after all," I beamed,
"That's great if you're hungry at all, I've baked a chocolate cake and popped it in the fridge, I'm going to head to bed now sweetie." Maria kissed my forehead and walked towards her room.
"Thank you, goodnight Maria."
I slumped in the bathtub, engulfed by the thick sea of bubbles. The steam radiated off the water, fogging up the mirror on the wall where the loud splashing of the water ricocheted against. Why cant I get her out of my head? Fuck. The cool screen of my phone touched my palm, I was careful not to accidentally drop it in the bath. Maybe it'll go away if I just text her or something. The flashbacks of my previous text encounter made me shudder. When I say I'm never touching alcohol again, I mean it.

Fuck. I threw my phone across the room, luckily it landing onto the white fluffy bathroom rug. The warm fluffy robe wrapped around my bare body, still damp from my bath.
The light switch clicked off and I sat on my bed shivering. Fuck man, my luck is terrible. Should I answer?? Nah that's stupid, I literally just saw her. I swiped down my phone screen and her notification flew up. I mean it would pretty shitty if I just left it as that.
