I dug through my coat pocket and finally found the house keys. The door clicked and I let ourselves in,

"Hey Ma I'm home," I announced, I turned to Eleena who seemed to be nervous,

"You can just leave your shoes ma'am," she nodded and began taking off her shoes,

"ZIA! Anak look at your face my god, bruises again, you look like you got beat up," my mum ran to me and hugged me,

"Ouch ma, oh I brought my friend, I'm tutoring her this year remember,"

"Helloo! I'm Melanie, mother of Azia, nice to properly meet you." My mum said and walked to Eleena,

"Nice to see you again tita, you look so pretty, tell me your secrets," Eleena shook her hand and smiled,

"HAHAHA, I like her Azia, keep her in your life HAHAHA, I have to continue cooking now, you two enjoy."

"Thank you tita,"

"Bye Ma."

I walked up the stairs and led her to my room.

"Welcome back to my room Miss Eleena." I bowed and showed her inside. She looked around, careful not to touch any of the surfaces.

"You can touch stuff you know, nothing will break don't worry," I reassured her,

"Loving the miraculous ladybug posters." Eleena smirked as she stared at chat noir plastered on my wall.

"OH?!" I ran and tried to cover it with my body,

"Yeah it's a bit of an obsession," we took a seat at my desk and began unpacking the note books for our session.

"A completely valid obsession, the real question is who you ship?" Eleena's dark eyes widened and she cupped her face with her hands, she looked at me longing for an answer,

"Well...obviously Adrien and Marinette, even if Adrien is hella blind,"

"Of course," she said with her face still in her palms,

"Rose and Juleka, there is definitely something between them, there's just no hetero explanation for it, you get me?" I answered and scribbled down the date on a crisp white page,

"YOURE LYING?! I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THAT TOO! Since day 1, I refused to believe that they're just friends." Eleena grabbed my hand and squealed in excitement.

I blushed and smiled shyly, my body is really betraying me right now.

"Oh my bad, sorry I get really giddy when it comes to MLB, it's nice knowing someone else who watches it." She gasped and put down my hand.

"Nahh you're all good, dont worry about it...uhh should we get started?"

"Yep, ready whenever you are."

It had been a little over 2 hours and Eleena had surprisingly picked up on the topics she's struggling on rather quickly. I strive to be a fast learner like her honestly.

"Well I'm hoping you understand more than you did at the start of this session ma'am," I stretched in my gaming chair and folded my arms, looking at her,

"I actually do I finally get it, ugh thank you so much, you're literally ," she beamed brightly.

"Awesome, so see you tomorrow for the art project?"

"Of course darling, I'll take you to the door." I got up and took off my hoodie before packing up my pens and books.

"Ready?" I asked while I opened my bedroom door, Eleena nodded and walked out my door. The stairs creaked underneath our feet,

"Thank you again, you're actually not that bad of a tutor." Eleena rolled her eyes and smiled at me,

"My my, are you finally warming up to me?" I teased and stopped by the front door.

"You wish I was," she chuckled .

"Eleena anak, you join us for dinner." My mum jogged to the door and held onto Eleena's hand.

"Ah thank you tita, but i don't want to disturb you,"

"Nonsense, you come na." She pulled Eleena into the dining room and sat her down. Eleena shot me a look that clearly stated "help me out", I shrugged finding her desperation entertaining.

"Oh I made some spring rolls, fried rice and I also have turon for dessert." Ma laid out the food onto the wooden table and I watched Eleena's eyes light up with joy.

"Thank you tita," Eleena took and spoonful of the fried rice and bit into a spring roll.

"How's the food anak." My mother asked eagerly,

"It's really good tita, I've missed filipino food a lot,"

"Do you not eat Filipino food at home?"

"Not as much as before, Maria usually cooks Spanish or Italian food but she doesn't really cook filipino food."

"How come?"

Eleena's eyes darkened and she seemed uncomfortable.

"Ma let Eleena eat, she's barely touched the food since you keep bombarding her with questions." I said in defence,

"No it's really okay, it's a common question." Eleena forced a smile but i knew she was hurt.

"Ay I'm sorry, I just get so excited when Azia's friends come over, you know Azia is very popular but won't let me meet her friends Dios mias."

"Mamaaaa." I whined as my mum pinched my cheeks. I caught Eleena giggling softly in the corner of my eye which caused me to grin like a fool.

After dinner, Eleena helped clear up the table even after being reassured that she didn't have to.

"Thank you for everything tita," she said softly,

"No need to thank me Eleena, you're always welcome here. be careful getting home, ay actually Azia you drive her home."

"It's alright I can just take the bus." Eleena protested,

"I'll take you, the bus is dangerous at night."

"Thank you." She smiled sheepishly and walked towards me.

"Thank you again tita." We waved at my mum and walked to the car.
