The office was so brightly lit it was almost blinding. The walls were painted a forest green that complimented the gold accents on the plant pots and overhead lights. White curtains stood either side of the window, allowing the natural light to seep through. I trudged towards her desk, careful not to get any mud onto the plush rug spread over the oak wood floor.
"Take a seat." I sat down on the emerald green coloured arm chair and stared at my feet anxiously.
"I've noticed a big drop in your chemistry grades Eleena." Mrs Thatcher said taking a seat at her desk, "unfortunately if this continues to happen, we have to kick you off the course and I don't want to do that." My blood ran cold and everything started to spin. I can't be kicked off, I've worked way too hard to get into year 13. I knew 4 options was too much, maybe I can drop English literature. Would it be too late? Who am I kidding? It's too late for me.
"I see a lot of potential in you, so I'm giving you an option of possible tutoring sessions with another student?" Mrs Thatcher handed me a timetable sheet with possible tutoring sessions happening throughout the week. I'm so desperate at this point so I'll take anything.
"I'll do it." I said eagerly.
"Good, I hope I see a difference in your grades soon. Here's my email if there's any concerns regarding the sessions." I took the card and thanked her. She walked me through the process and times of how the tutoring would work since there may be rooms changes.
A faint knocking causes Mrs Thatcher to stop explaining and face the door.

"Come in." She chirped.
"Hi miss, you asked to see me." Why have I heard that voice before l? I cautiously shifted in my seat to catch the face of the person who interrupted my very important meeting. You can't be serious. Azia fucking Mendoza.
"Ah yes, take a seat Azia, Eleena this is Azia, she will be your tutor."
Azia winked at me and sat on the armchair opposite me.
"I made sure you had a familiar face with you so you wouldn't feel too uncomfortable." Mrs Thatcher said proudly.
"Yes thank you miss." I shot her a fake smile and slouched down in my seat.
"Now you'll be spending a lot of time together so maybe a friendship could be formed, who knows." She laughed dryly. I scoffed and pulled the hoodie over my head. In her dreams, I refuse to even be associated with that slut.
"Of course Mrs Thatcher, I'm honoured to have been chosen for this, I promise I won't let you down." Azia replied, grinning for ear to ear. If she doesn't stop kissing her ass, I'm going to jump off a cliff.
"Thank you Azia for taking the time to do so, you two can go back to class now."
"Thanks." I answered grumpily and dragged my bag over my shoulder, speed walking back to art.
"Well well well, first you're my partner for the project, second you bump into me and now I have to tutor your dumb self, That cocky son of a bitch. I grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and slammed her against the lockers. Her brown eyes met mine , locking in position. She raised an eyebrow surprised by my sudden display.
"Look I was desperate okay, so keep your fucking mouth shut, I would rather slam my tongue in a car door than be stuck being tutored by you understood?" She looked me up and down then smirked.

"I never thought you were the dominant type Delà Cruz, but here we are." Her gaze never left mind which left me feeling powerless.
"UGHHHHH FUCK YOU MENDOZA!" I screamed and let go of her shirt. She laughed as I threw her hoodie at her face. Arrogant prick. I marched straight to the toilets, I can't go back to class right now. I can't be arsed.
