"Oh my god Acacia, we're late to art AND IT'S RAINING." I held my hood up, running through the pouring rain towards school.
"WELL I CAN'T EXACTLY PREDICT THE WEATHER CAN I ELE?!" Acacia's voice was drowned out by the loud rain hitting the pavement below. We quickly approached the gates and slipped inside the brightly lit reception.
"I'm so unfit man," Acacia panted holding her stomach, "and I have a stitch."
"Well that's what happens when stuff your face with 2 strawberry muffins, a bacon bap and hot chocolate." I sneered.
"Allow it, I was starving and skipped breakfast to go to volleyball practice." Acacia replied. We made our way through the corridor only to be stopped by the demonic receptionist herself.
"Well I hope you have an explanation as to why you're dripping wet AND LATE to your period 5 lesson." Mrs Hachette croaked. We glanced at each other then back at Mrs Hachette.
"So funny story, we were actually on our way to class and well uh," Acacia pleaded with her eyes to help her out.
"I needed some pictures of the rain for my art project," I continued, "for the art exhibition happening in December, I wanted to get ahead start since it's still early and Acacia volunteered to help me and I sort of lost track of time, it won't happen again."
"Ah you could've just said that Eleena, I know an artist at work when I see one." Mrs Hachette cackled, "off you pop then ladies, just be wary of the weather and the time for the next occasion."
"Yes miss." We chirped and hurried towards the art class.
"Has anyone seen Eleena?"
"HERE SIR I'M HERE!" I yelled, stumbling into the classroom. The whole class turned to look at me.

"I think that was too loud." I whispered to Acacia. "Acacia?" I turned around only to see her sitting at her desk in the far right hand corner. That fucking bitch. She gave me a "sorry bestie, I'll make it up to you" look and unpacked her bag.
I walked to my desk and sat down.
"Had fun in the rain Miss Delà Cruz?" Mr Devenish questioned.
"I uhm, sorry sir, there was a lot of people and Acacia and I got stuck in between them all." I blurted. I looked down to my lap avoiding his piercing gaze.
"I see, maybe bring an umbrella next time?" He concluded.
"Yes sir, sorry it won't happen again." He returned a small nod pleased by my answer and went back to the register.
Great. I've managed to embarrass myself in the span of what, 5 mins? I squeezed my hair to get the water out and spun it into a messy bun. The stench of the rain stuck to my soaked jacket, I slid it off my shoulders and put it at the back of my chair. I frantically searched my bag for any tissues to dry myself off. Two soft hands dropped a warm piece of clothing onto my shoulders. The same soothing lavender scent rushed into my lungs, making me dizzy. The heat from the hoodie gave me the warmth I craved so much. Wait this isn't my hoodie.
Azia pulled back her arms and turned around.
"What are you doing?" I said angrily. How dare she touch me?
She turned back around to face me.
"Shut up darling, I'm saving your back here." She snapped, the absolute cheek of this girl.
"From what dumbass." I glared at her.
"I don't want others admiring the view, I'm quite selfish you see." Azia looked at my chest and looked back into her eyes. What the fuck is she staring at? I looked down and noticed my shirt had stuck onto my skin revealing my black bra underneath.

"PERVERT." I hit my arm and shoved myself into her hoodie, I zipped it up with my numb fingers to cover my semi naked state. Azia laughed and put on her airpods to continue on sketching. I mean, it was nice of her to give me her hoodie. Ugh.
"Thank you...I guess." I mumbled.
"No problem dumbass." She replied smiling at me. I returned a little smile and slipped on my headphones. Why did my airpods have to get damaged by the rain?
One more hour left lads. This class has been dragging on for too long. A small knock rang through the door as a smaller woman tip toed inside.
"Sorry to disturb you sir, can I please borrow Eleena?" I looked at sir briefly before turning to the woman.
"Yes go ahead." Mr Devenish gestured for me to follow the woman. I gathered my stuff and followed after the woman.
"Did I do anything wrong miss?" I asked timidly.
"Oh not at all my dear, I just need to discuss something with you in my office." I nodded as we turned the corner walking into her office.
