I slammed the door behind me. Feeling flustered, my face burning with anger.

"WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU?!" A loud voice bellowed.

"Auberon?!" I said panicking.

"What do you think you're doing?" he said viciously.

"I was just looking for something in the closet," I replied calmly.

I winced in pain as he grabbed my arm with such a brutal force.

"Don't lie to me Eleena!" Anger burned in his eyes.

"I was talking to Azia about the art exhibition."

"Liar." I felt his grasp become tighter.

"I'm telling the truth Auberon, now let me go." I cried out.

He towered over me with a dangerous look in his eyes. I stared at him in fear of what he'd do next.

"Eleena my Princesa, I expect you to deliver the goods tonight. And maybe I'll let this misunderstanding slide."

"Okay." I agreed in defeat. He let go of my arm and walked away.

I fought the tears from falling down. I hate this so much.

"Goodnight Maria." I greeted as I dragged myself into my room.

"Goodnight my dear, sleep well." She said softly.

🐮

Where are you.

i'm still at home

🐮

Hurry tf up .

We both know what happens when you're late.

My stomach churned and twisted as I read his sick message.

🐮

Well...?

i'll be there in 10 mins.

I pulled on my oversized hoodie on top of my tank top and trudged towards the door.

I quietly slipped on my black converse and slowly unlocked the door. The cold night air hit my face harshly. Clutching my bag tightly, I made my way towards his house.

I knocked on his door furiously.

"Hey babyy." he slurred, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. He reeked of cheap vodka and Jack Daniels.

"You're drunk Auberon," I said firmly, taking his arm off me.

"Pshh no I'm not, come here babe." He stepped aside letting me enter the chaotic scene. Looking around I saw drunken teens passed out on the floor, lying in their own vomit. I recoiled in disgust while the putrid fumes of sweat, weed and sick danced in the air.

Auberon led me towards his room which was surprisingly still in order.

"Just leave the stuff there." He pointed at his open drawer on the oak bed stand. I obliged and placed the drugs on the tray that settled inside the drawer. I stared at his empty expression, studying him to see if he would give me any sort of gratitude or validation that I craved from him. But no. He reached for the door handle and left me alone in his room. I stood there dumbfounded, eyes cloudy with regret and pain. I don't deserve this and I knew I didn't, so why was it so hard to leave him. Hot tears ran down my face. God, I'm so stupid for ever thinking he would change. Grabbing my bag, i pulled the door open and walked back through the vicious scene.

I made way to his kitchen and poured myself some fruit punch. I pushed through the crowds of people and stood out on the balcony. This was the only place that felt peaceful and thankfully quiet.

"What's a pretty girl doing here alone?" A voice questioned.

"What do you want Auberon?" I gritted, whipping my head around to face him.

"Fortunately love, I'm not him." She smirked as she slyly took a sip from my cup. My face started burning in anger.

"Are you stalking me Mendoza?!"

"Dont get all excited, if you aren't aware I happen to have a life out of school which you clearly seem to not have."

"I HAVE A LIFE YOU PRETENTIOUS BRAT."

"Mhm is that why you're all alone on the balcony at one of the biggest parties in this term?" Azia lifted a brow mockingly.

I paused. Fuck, she's right. Annoyingly right. I was never the type to attend parties anyway, i only go to spend time with Auberon which never seems to happen.

" I hate you so fucking much Azia." Her plump lips curled into a smirk as I said that.

"I hate how cocky and arrogant your attitude is, who on earth do you think you are? God?"

"I hate you more darling." She edged closer to me backing me into the balcony railing, her hand snaking around my hip.

"Careful Eleena, we don't want you falling for me so we now?" My cheeks flushed in embarrassment, I was only inches away from her perfect face.

"I...get your grubby hands off me, you bitch." I spat out venomously,

Her warm breath tickled my ear,

"Goodnight Eleena." And she walked away back into the sea of people and coloured lights. What was that? I-I can't believe she just did that to me.
