Sadhana's practice session got so intense day by day. She was vigorously practicing for the competition. Anumegha mam was continuously nurturing with the nuances and teaching her nook hole in the jathis, tune and sangathis. Sadhana easily absorbed whatever Anu mam was teaching her which gave a good opinion for anu mam. She started to see Sadhana as her own daughter.

Arjun did not miss to give his support for her. He made sure of her health and was very much keen in avoiding cold items which Sadhana was fond of till the competion gets over. He did work from home completely to support her for her preparations.

Sadhana got selected in the preliminary rounds with much ease because of her voice which gave her confidence to show up in front of a wider audience. She started to rehearse for the intro round in the top ten contestants. She was all nervous to face the camera which she was not used to. From the morning she was roaming the house showing that she is tense.

She got ready in a half white long skirt which had broad golden zari border that resembled the onam attire with the maroon half sleeves high blouse that had golden and white stones design on the sleeves and the neck pairing to the skirt. It was accompanied with the half white with golden zari dupatta completing the attire which was purchased by Arjun for her first round of the competition. She did her hair leaving it free by taking few strands on both the sides and clutched it and did curls in the edges. She wore a temple design Jhumkas that added beauty to her ears. Her face had minimal makeup that she applied only kajal and maroon nude lipstick and placed a maroon bindi that gave a angelic look. She wore a designer golden bangles that accompanied her attire.

'Sadhana ma..time aachu..seekaram' Arjun was shouting on and off.

'Itho vanthuten arjuneyy..' she told by correcting her earings.

Arjun's jaw dropped seeing his beautiful kutty pattas turned into Kutty Angel all of a sudden. He was dumbstruck looking at her attire. He saw her innocence in her eyes but at the same time, he could feel that she was looking damn gorgeous in that costume. He saw her eyes that were kholed perfectly, her ears holding Jhumkas that were apt for her. He kutty nose that were red because of the tension she is having for the day. Her pink lips were applied with nude colour lipstick which made a aderline rush for him. The skirt that she wore showed her milky waist accurately and all together this attire made his situation too worse for him.

'Arjun...ippo theva illatha thoughts vara koodathu...she has to acheive her dream' arjun thought to himself.

'arjuney..' she shooked him.

'Sadhana ma..you look damn beautiful and gorgeous' he kissed her cheeks which made her to turn pink. He did not want to continue the conversation as he feared it might lead to some unexpected plans.

'Seri ma..kelambalaama?' Arjun asked her. She nodded her head with a bit of worry. He understood her state of mind.

'Sadhana ma..look at me' He cupped her cheeks and made her to look at him.

'Ippo edhukku ivlo tension ah irukka? hmm? see nee nalla practice panni irukka..nee nalla paaduva..yaaru unna pathi enna sonnalum..Don't mind. Don't take it to your heart. You focus on your effort. I have a strong confidence that you will move to further rounds.. ok va?' Arjun consoled her with warm words. She smiled and nodded at him.

'En Sadhanaku tension aaga theriyathu..ava eppavume butterfly maari paranthute iruppa..ava irukkara placeah colourfulah maathuva..avala thaan enakku pudikkum..intha maari silentah tensionah irukarathu en sadhanaku theriyathu' Arjun said by pinching her nose. She giggled hearing that.

'Enna nadanthalum..don't loose your own self. nee neeya iru..don't change for anything..ok va..Camera munnadi ipdi thaan irukanum..camera pinnadi ipdi irukaanumnu there is no rules. People will accept you as you are.' He advised her by giving a caring hug to her which made her relax to the core.

'I feel better Arjuney...you are my saviour and lifeline' she hugged him tight.

'Always for you' he reciprocated to her hug.

'Seri..lets start its getting late' Arjun said and they both left after taking blessings from their parents on a video call.They reached the venue. She said her name in the studio reception. They asked her to wait. Later she was called inside.

'Arjuney....neegalum vaanga' Sadhana said. Immediately the receptionist said that the audience are allowed only for the finals not for the initial rounds. So she felt bad for not having Arjun by her side.

Contestants were asked to sit on the allocated seats beneath the judges. Soon the hosts Anand and Priya came to anchor the show.

After the introduction speeches, contestants were called one by one to show their singing talent. As it was the introduction round, there are no specific genres. it was a freestyle round. Everyone gave their performances. Sadhana was called.

'Correct na..enakku boy friendlaam illa..aana husband irukaaru' Sadhana disclosed her marital status which made everyone to go on freeze mode.

The first round really went well and she had a heart contented day of first step of her passion and she came out of the set to see her lifeline and next second she went in his embrace.
