《Fully Demon》Chapter 5: Town Sqaure

Rin’s Pov:
‘What if… I can get information out of the humans… like they are so rudely trying to do to us… it could work… right?’
I walk out of the castle and start making my way to the town square where every demon is surrounding the exorcists. As I walk down the so called ‘streets’ it’s eerily quiet and empty, I know I’m getting close because I’m starting to see a mob form. I’m walking into the horde and the demons are moving to make a path for me, as their separating I start seeing humans with confused faces, probably because the demons are so calm now.
“When they start attacking me, don’t do anything about, you will all go the opposite direction and wont turn back when I signal, understood?” I whisper only enough for the demons to hear and when they nod I know they heard me and understand my order.
I’m face to face with exorcist and I can see the fear in their eyes, even the 1st class exorcist, they probably know who I am. Well all except a few. They most likely are new and don't know what danger I am. I turn a bit and nod towards the demons signaling for them to leave, I turn back towards the humans and I can hear the faint rustle of silent demons pouring out of the town square. When I turn back the humans, as expected, they have once again a confused expression. The next thing I see are exorcist charging at me with various types of weapons.
‘Another thing I hate about humans their ‘Shoot first, ask questions never’ way of living. But, whatever, I was hoping that they would attack me, it was the only was my plane was going to work.’

Their weapons ranged from holy water to khakkharas with various weapons I paid no mind too, I was too busy looking at a strange looking human. This particular human did of course have fear in his eyes but even I was having trouble seeing it, like he had done this kind of thing many times before.
‘This trip is going to be more interesting than I thought.’
When I finally force myself to look away I can see the humans had already made their way to me and are surrounding me like the demons had done to them only moments ago. It was strange to say non the less, but I found it new and exciting.
I can feel eyes on me. It’s strange. When I look around for them, I finally spot where the stare is coming from. It’s from the blue eyes demon that showed up a few minutes ago, why is he staring? And at me of all people.

My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe...
Xavier had a happy, humdrum life: normal friendships, a normal girlfriend, a somewhat oddball family. Until, that is, he literally stumbled through the fourth wall and discovered he was the protagonist of a manga. Now he's scrambling to maintain any semblance of control over his own life in the face of something he never imagined he would need to contend with: the power of the Genre. Hello, E.O. Tenkey here; thank you for your interest in "Not A Manga"! This was my first serial novel, and I hope you enjoy Xavier's predicament! Familiarity with manga not required (though it can't hurt)! I look forward to exploring the bounds of the Genre with you. (First volume is rated PG-13 for comic mayhem and light profanity—these are high school students, after all. Second volume is rated PG-13 to R for some violence and similar levels of profanity. Tags may or may not contain spoilers.)

Descent into Mayhem
After two hundred years of isolation, the colonists of Capicua, a fertile super-earth orbiting Gliese 667C, are suddenly faced with an unknown and hostile military force. Oblivious to the impending invasion, Toni Miura joins Capicua's decrepit armed forces in a bid to escape domestic troubles, aiming for the privilege of driving the Hammerhead, a bipedal mobile suit which is the epitome of his planet's ailing warrior spirit. With the arrival of the earthborn invaders, Toni's unqualified platoon, brimming with misfits and plagued by internal differences, is suddenly thrown into the midst of battle. Abandoned by their seniors in the course of their mission, Toni and the remnants of his unit become lost in a world which, owing to the nature of its orbit, suffers periodically from planet-wide hurricane conditions. So begins a race against time, where a handful of cadets will be forced to outmaneuver a pursuing enemy in the boondocks of a turbulent planet, all the while seeking to deliver an odd but important Bavarian prisoner-of-war to their headquarters.
