I packed my stuff to leave the office. A happy smile was pasted on my face thinking about the weekend. It's Friday and I'm going to relax myself to the fullest this weekend.

As soon as I came out of my office building, I closed my eyes and happily felt the evening air hit my face. But me being me, I tripped on the very flat surface and hold on to the nearest object as an instinct.

Suddenly I felt the 'object' vibrating and sweet chuckles filled my ear. I looked up and found Elijah, the head of my editing department, shaking his head and looking at me with amusement filled eyes.

"You tripped again" it was not a question but a statement.

"Yeah" I smiled sheepishly and straighten up myself. Once I was standing, I tried to move back but Elijah's grip on my arms were firm. I looked at him in confusion, then realization hit me.

'You haven't thanked him yet stupid!'

"Sorry for my manners. Thank you, again, for helping me" I said with a grateful smile.

He blinked couple of times as confusion flooded his eyes, before realizing what I was talking about.

"No problem though. So what's your plan this weekend?" He asked with his million dollar smile.

"Relaxing. Past few weeks were quite hectic" I sighed, "so this weekend I'll let myself relax"

"Wow. That's a nice plan" he laughed, "well then, let me drop you to your house"

I thanked him again before we head to his car. We talked and laughed talking about office stuff. Suddenly he went silent.

"What is it?" I asked in worry.

"Nothing. I was just thinking about next week" he sighed.

"What about it?"

"Well as you already know our current boss is retiring and he sold out company, I was just thinking what our new boss will be like" he explained.

"Oh that. Umm I've heard that he's very strict" I mumbled.

"Yeah me too"

Again there was silence in the car as we both were lost in our own thoughts. You might be thinking what are we even talking about.

Well let's start from the beginning. Hi, I'm Felicity Miller and I work in Life, one of the world's biggest magazine company. I work in editing department and as I said earlier, Elijah is our head.

So our previous boss, Mr George is retiring and few weeks earlier he sold our company to someone very powerful, whose name I don't know. Actually nobody knows. No one even tried to find out as everybody were very busy this past weeks.

Next week we'll be meeting our new boss. So let's hope for the best.

Suddenly Elijah's voice startled me, "we're here".

I looked outside and his car was standing right in front of my apartment. I turned towards him and thanked him. It's not the first time he had given me lift. So it wasn't new and awkward.

As I entered my apartment, I threw my overcoat and my bag in the couch and then thew myself beside them. I closed my eyes and let myself relax for a moment.

After taking a long shower, I was all ready to let my weekend begin. I turned on the speaker and played my favorite songs. I dried my hair while singing along.

For tonight my plan was to crash a club with my some of friends. I wore a black dress with knee length boots and kept my makeup simple but hot. I don't want to sweat in the heavy makeup, it just feels so bad.

Once I was done, I took my coat and called my friends. They arrived shortly after the call. And with that we head off towards the club.

As always, the club was full of people, loud music, smell of alcohol, disco lights etc. I was already quite drunk and was dancing my heart out. We laughed and drank. I wanted to forget all the stress.

Suddenly my phone vibrated, indicating someone's call. I excused myself from my friends and went outside to answer the call.

I instantly sobered up on seeing the word 'Mom' pop up.

'Shit! Mom's calling and here I'm drunk as hell'

I went as far as possible from the club to avoid loud music.

"Hey momma!" I answered the call, trying hard to sound normal. But mother being mother, she immediately said, "so which club for tonight?"

I sighed and said the name of the club.

"Oh that one. I heard it is amazing but honey, don't you think its far from your living place?"

"Don't worry mom, Sasha said she'll drop me. Beside I'll won't be staying for that late"

"Okay. Take care sweetie. Call me tomorrow because I know you won't be calling tonight. Stay safe. Love you"

"I will mom. Love you too. Bye" I smiled as I ended the call.

Mom was never overprotective of me but that doesn't mean she ever cared less. I sighed and was about to return to the club, when I heard a scream. It was gone as soon as it came.

With club's music on background I wasn't able to hear anything more. So I thought my mind was playing tricks on me.

'No more alcohol Felicity. You're already drunk enough'

I shake my head and made my way towards the club. After taking only two steps, I heard a loud crash of dumpster, a loud groan following behind.

'Okay...this time it was real, isn't it?'

My heart started beating fast as I made my way towards the dark alley. All scenes from horror movies and thriller movies kept coming in my head. And when I finally realized I was being stupid for coming to this dark alley, I also realized it was too late.

I saw a couple of men, dressed in black, surrounding another man who was lying on ground and groaning painfully. I hide behind a wall and closed my mouth with my hand before it releases any kind of noise.

I felt like puking looking at the amount of blood surrounding the man lying on ground. He was crying furiously and was mumbling something in foreign language. Suddenly another bullet was fired on his left knee. He screamed again.

My eyes were burning with tears as I silently step backward. I don't want to watch any more. And god knows what they'll do with me if they found me.

Suddenly I was stopped by a wall and I froze.

'There wasn't any wall present here before'

I slowly turned around and came face to face with a broad chest, dressed in black overcoat. I ever so slowly looked up, tilting my head, and at that moment I wished if I haven't had.

The man was extremely good looking but with a dark aura. His stone brown eyes were staring straight at me, looking straight to my soul. A frown was present in his forehead and his lips were drawn in a thin line. Anger was directly radiating from his body.

I stumbled back, tripping on a can. I fell on ground with a thud, pulling everyone's attention.

I gasped lightly as I realized what stupidity I've done. Some of the men were smirking where as others were murdering me with their eyes.

I was frozen in my place, not knowing what to do next.

"Did he said anything useful?" The man behind me, the one with the brown eyes, said suddenly making me jump. I looked up at him, and saw he was staring straight ahead.

"Yes boss" one of the man replied.

'Wow! Just praise your luck for running into the boss' my inner self scoff sarcastically.

Suddenly he started moving towards the other men, as if I wasn't even there. They started talking in hushed tones.

I took this as a chance to slip away from there. So I started crawling background very slowly, careful enough for making no noises. No one was paying attention to me.

"Stay where the fuck you are" the boss said with gritted teeth, slightly looking over his shoulder. Anger was dripping from his mouth and it was enough to make me stop. My eyes widened up as again everyone's attention got focused on me.

I pulled my knees to my chest, hugging them tightly as tears ran down my cheeks.

'I'm going to die now. Or maybe they'll rape me first, then kill me. Oh god! I don't wanna die. You shouldn't have came here in the first place, you idiot!'

I sniffle and rub my cheeks. Suddenly I was yanked up by my arm. The man holding me was smirking so evilly that I wished to hide in deep forest and never come back.

"About about this one boss? I assume she saw a nice show" he laughed.

I whimpered and tried to release myself.

Again I was violently tug towards a chest, but thus time it was the boss.

"I'll take care of her. You go and take care of the body" he said in a bored tone without even glancing at me.

The other man nodded and went towards the guy lying on the floor unconscious, most probably dead. I again felt sick on seeing him so I just turned my head and avoided the horrible scene.

All of a sudden I was being pulled out of the alley, towards a grand SUV. The boss opened the passenger door and pushed me in roughly. I braced myself from hitting my head. Soon he was in the driver's seat and started the car.

No one said anything as silence was louder then our own thoughts. I wiped off the tears again.

"Ar-are you going to kill me?" I finally said without looking up at him.

He didn't replied. He just kept looking ahead.

I took his silence as a yes and started bagging him.

"Please don't kill me. I swear I didn't saw much. And I promise I won't tell anyone. Please. Please let me go" I whispered the last part as my tears ran down like a waterfall.

He looked annoyed and suddenly stopped his car. I gripped the seat belt roughly and turned towards him with wide eyes.

He came out of his seat and came towards the passenger seat.

"Out" he said opening my door.

"Huh?"

"Get the fuck out"

I jumped slightly and undid the seat belt. I came out as quickly as possible.

When I was finally out, he wrapped his hand around my waist and brought me closer to his chest, making me gasped in fear. I was trembling like a dry leaf so he only tighten up his grip.

"I'll not kill you. Just take the next bus from there" he said while pointing towards his back, "and never say a single word about tonight to anyone. Am I clear?"

It took few minutes to absorb his words. Then I realized we were standing next to a bus stop. I again looked at him and he was looking at me with his eyebrow raised.

I nodded my head, finding it hard to actually answer him. As I was moving away from him, he again pulled me roughly.

"And one last thing, never ever turn back or look back. Because the moment you turn back to look at me and enter my life again, I'll never let you go. Never again" he said in a dark voice.

A shiver ran down my spine. He might've felt it because he smirked.

"Go" he said, suddenly releasing his hand from my waist. Without a second thought, I ran towards the bus stop as I saw a bus already standing there.

Once inside, I breathe in heavily trying to calm my racing heart.

'Don't look back

Don't look back

Don't look back'

But I did.

I turned slightly and look back at him.

And then I realized my mistake.

He was looking straight at me, leaning on his SUV with hands folded his front, smirking a dangerously gorgeous smirk.
