Sanjana's P.O.V

"Rohan! Chalo we're so late!"

"I'm sorry, just give me 5 minutes I'll get my jacket," he shouts from the room.

"They need to eat their dinner Ro, hurry up,"

"I'm done, I'm done," he says as he stumbles out of the room.

I shake my head as he grasps my hand and he drives us to the hospital. As he parks in the parking lot, he doesn't unlock the doors though.

"Rohan,"

He looks at me and gently cradles my face in his hands and brings it closer until our foreheads are resting against one another. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before opening his eyes and offering me a small smile.

"The food will--"

"Sanjana I just..." He trails off and let's out a shaky breath as he closes his eyes once again.

"Kya hua Ro?"

"I just... I just want you to know that I'm really thankful to you and I adore you and cherish you and that I--" he stops and let's out another shaky breath, tears welling in his eyes as he continues, "I love you Sanjana, and I don't want you to feel obligated to tell me now, I'm okay if it takes time, I just want you to know that I love you and I fall in love with you everyday and every morning that I wake up with you by my side, it's so much bright and I can't thank God enough for blessing me with you,"

"Rohan--"

"No don't say anything, I know it's going to take time, it's okay, I'm--"

I interrupt him as I close the distance between us as I kiss him. He goes rigid for a moment before relaxing and pulling me into him. A tear escapes my eye and I smile against his lips as he holds me.

"Sweetheart," he murmurs as he leans his forehead against my shoulder and holds me close to him.

His thumb is still stroking my cheekbone when he pulls away and stares at me. I can already feel myself getting awkward as the time passes and he offers me a goofy smile as if he knows that I'm gonna be awkward now.

"Let's go now?"

I jump out of the car as soon as he unlocks the doors and rush towards the Monica's room. I hear Rohan chuckle behind me but I pay no heed to him and focus on getting to Monica and Sunil. I knock lightly and crack open the door. Both of them are sleeping as we enter the room and I can't help but stare at them. They look so adorable, Monica is curled up against Sunil as she snores softly. I know I would be violating their privacy by clicking their picture but I do it even then because this was a moment that just looks adorable and something I feel like Monica would cherish.

I sit down on the sofa in the room and Rohan sits down next to me. I sigh and close my eyes as Rohan pulls me closer until my head rests against his shoulder.

"Hogaya? Where's our dinner?"

"Tumhara hogaya? Look at you guys cuddling like that," Rohan snaps.

Monica and Sunil grin at each other and start sniffing and I groan inwardly. I know what they're gonna start with.

"Monu you smell that?"

"Yeah, is that love? Mere bacche bade hogaye?"

"Stop it," I groan.

"Do you see the way Rohan is looking at you? Like a lovesick puppy,"

I feel my cheeks redden due to the warmth and the duo start laughing as I blush. I quickly hurry and plate their dinner. As they eat their dinner silently I sit beside Monica on the chair while Rohan talks on the call with someone.

"So what's up?" Monica signs to me.

"He confessed and we may have kissed,"

Monica squeals and claps like a 5 year old, drawing the attention of Rohan and Sunil. I narrow my eyes in Monica's direction and she just smiles.

"And? Why are you awkward then?"

"I may have initiated the kiss and I didn't really say the words back,"

"It's okay, I know it can take time, don't stress on it, as far as I know, Rohan is patient and you do love him, it's just gonna take some time getting used to and accepting,"

"I don't know if I love him just yet Monica,"

"Stop leaving me out of the context even I want to know, I'm sure Rohan wants to know what you guys are talking too,"

"Or maybe he knows already, look at the way he's staring at Sanjana,"

"But you'll love him right? You'll eventually get there right?"

"I think so, yeah I think so,"

"Don't leave me alone like this, let me know then!"

"Chup karo, I don't really need to tell you anything,"

Sunil whines before shoving a piece of chapati in his mouth as he grumbles. They continue eating in silence and I pack the tiffin when they're done and we chit chat for a while.

"Bhabhi," Monica says.

"Bolo,"

"I want ice cream, I am allowed to eat it will you and Rohan please get it for me,"

"I can go, Rohan can sit he anyways has work since he has been getting calls,"

"I'm sure Rohan doesn't want to feel like a third wheel, Sunil and I can be really passionate sometimes, you wouldn't want to witness that, right Rohan?"

"Uh yeah, I'll accompany Sanjana," he says as he gets up.

"Chale?" Rohan asks as he offers me his hand.

"Is there any ice cream shop near by?" I ask.

"Yeah I just looked it up, it's at a 5 minute walking distance,"

"Monica seriously wants to eat ice cream in winters? It's 10 degrees for crying out loud,"

"Ice cream in winters is so much better,"

"Even a fever is so much better right?"

I roll my eyes as we walk on the side of the road. Rohan pulls me towards the side so I am on the side while he walks on the outer side. I smile and look at him as he smiles.

"You remembered,"

"Of course I remember much you hate walking on outer left side of the road,"

(A/N: I'm sorry if this is confusing, I don't know how to put my thoughts in words for now, maybe give me some time and I'll come up with something g better)

"There it is," I say as I rush towards the shop and am shocked to find it buzzing with people.

"See, people enjoy ice cream in winters," Rohan says.

"Humans never fail to mesmerize me,"

"Look at you talk as if you're not a human,"

"I'm--"

"Will you not eat ice cream then?"

"Yeah no I'll not eat ice cream, and didn't you dislike ice creams?"

"I make excuses for ice creams in winters,"

"Next,"

Rohan orders 2 cookies and cream ice creams and 2 mint chocolate ice creams and pays for it.

"4?"

"2 for me, since I'm sure you won't eat any so,"

"I'm surrounded by idiots," I murmur under my breath and Rohan chuckles.

We rush back to the hospital and Monica looks like she just stopped crying when we meet them.

"What happened?"

"Nothing," she says as she smiles.

"Oh yeah I didn't know people cried because nothing happens to them,"

"Sanjana--"

"Here's your ice cream,"

"Sanju," Monica murmurs.

"Rohan can you hurry up, I am really tired and cold. All I want to do I sleep now,"

"I'll eat when we go home then, let's go home since you're tired then?"

"Okay then, I'll see you both tomorrow, I'm sure tomorrow will be your last day here Monica, we'll talk to the doctor on our way out, take care and sleep well loves,"

"Sanjana,"

"Oh and Monica, just so you know you can always talk to me, I know for a fact that I know how you're feeling better than anyone in this room, and it's okay, just don't lie to me sweetheart, because trust me, I know,"

I hug her and kiss her forehead before Rohan and I walk out of the room. Rohan holds my hand as we walk out of the hospital.
