Florence Harding neé Huntingdon, is the daughter of the well-known and more importantly, well-respected Earl and Countess Huntingdon. After stepping into the 1813 marriage market, in the hopes of finding her match, she came out of the season with one of its most eligible men, the Duke of Windsor.

It seems as though her kindness knows no bounds, especially seeing as who just so happens to be considered to be her friends. Daphne Basset (now known as the Duchess of Hastings) and her seemingly marriage mart enemy, Cressida Cowper, along with the laughing stock of the Ton, Prudence and Philippa Featherington.

But with a new season comes along new and rather exciting drama... so how will Florence handle her first year of marriage to a Duke?

The Duke is now stepping out of the season with one of the most sought-after ladies of the Ton, Florence Huntingdon, now aptly titled as the Duchess of Windsor.

Frederick Harding is known to be a determined man- and now husband- who, once he puts his mind to work, doesn't stop until his goal is accomplished. This time, however, he is stepping back for a moment, enjoying the time that he has with his new wife, while also partaking in the comforts that the Ton has to offer, with a keen interest in what prolific gossip writer, Lady Whistledown, has to say.

Kate Sharma is the eldest daughter of Lady Mary Sharma and step-sister to Edwina. Along with the rest of her family, she is one of the newest arrivals to London.

She is quickly found out to be smart and headstrong, not suffering fools- Anthony Bridgerton very much included.

Ever watchful over her younger sister, Edwina, Kate takes charge of finding her a worthy husband upon their arrival in London. Unsparing with her biting wit, Kate doesn't mince words if she finds a suitor lacking. Her main goal this season: get her sister, Edwina, married.

Fiercely independent, she openly declares her intentions to remain unmarried.

Edwina Sharma, the younger daughter of Lady Mary Sharma has been taught by her older step-sister, Kate, to be the perfect debutante.

She often is seen to be a kind-natured and endlessly endearing girl. Due to the sister's close relationship, Edwina has sworn not to marry without the approval of Kate, which proves a bit of a challenge to Edwina's most determined suitor. But while she may be young and naïve, she also knows what she wants: a true love match.

Matriarch of the Sharma family, Lady Mary Sharma is the daughter of an Earl whose marriage once embroiled her and her family in scandal. Now newly returned to London with her daughters, she's forced to endure the scrutiny of the ton yet again.

After setting his sights on the season's newest diamond, notable newcomer to the Ton, Edwina Sharma, Anthony is determined to walk out of the season with a ring on her finger.

HyacinthBridgerton, the youngest sibling and fourth daughter to Violet and the late Edmund, is both singular and exuberant. A young girl who is already wise beyond her year, Hyacinth cannot wait to enter into the marriage mart and follow in her oldest sister, Daphne's, footsteps... although maybe with less gossip.

Gregory Bridgerton, second youngest and fourth son to Violet and the late Edmund, is a verifiable, yet still lovable, terror with a heart of gold. A young boy whose favorite pastime is teasing his younger sister, Hyacinth, around the house.

More reserved and mysterious, the sixth child and second youngest daughter, Francesca is careful with her words, but still possesses a sly and subversive send of humor. After missing last season due to her being sent away to Bath to spend time with her Aunt Winnie, Francesca is eager and excited to join her family in the new 1814 season.

Feeling trapped by the expectations of being a debutante, Elosie, the fifth child and oldest daughter to Violet and the late Edmund, often vents her many frustrations to her best friend, Penelope Featherington. Rather than dressing up and meeting suitors, Eloise much prefers reading about and discussing women's rights, a topic that threatens the world from which she comes from, but also seems to allow her to form a rather peculiar connection with a certain print shop apprentice.

Colin Bridgerton, the third child and third oldest brother of the family, is used to disarming members of the Ton with his good-natured jokes and smiles. Although beneath those swoon-worthy eyes, is an adventurer with a hungry desire to leave behind London and travel the world. After a rather tumultuous end of the 1813 season, Colin has embarked on the tour that he had always dreamed of... starting in Greece.

Benedict Bridgerton, the second eldest of the Bridgerton siblings and second-born son of Violet and Edmund. With elder brother Anthony- finally- stepping into the marriage mart, Benedict is ready to finally embrace his life as the second-born son.

As the eldest sibling, and head of the Bridgerton household, Anthony strives to fill his later father's shoes, managing the family's affairs. Intent of marrying not out of love, but rather for duty, the young Viscount is finally ready to find his match, much to his mother's delight. Despite his rather harsh outlook on love, he expects nothing short of perfection from his future bride.

Violet Bridgerton, the Dowager Viscountess Bridgerton, and her family have- somehow- survived the 1813 season, despite all that it seemed to throw their way. Known to all around her as a kind, compassionate, and loving woman, Violet manages to treat everyone she meets with unmatched kindness and respect. But, don't bother to mistake her kindness for weakness as she is an impressive match for anyone who dares comes close to interfering with her family. Much like how she did with her late husband, Edmund, she hope for nothing more than for her children to marry- not for convenience or opportunity, but rather for love.

After failing to find herself a suitable match, Cressida Cowper is walking into the 1814 season with a new fierce determination. With a family fortune that is large enough to attract her some suitors in and of itself, will she be able to walk out of her second season with a nice ring on her finger and having secured herself a new prestigious title?

One can only hope... and Cressida and her mother, Lady Cowper, are certainly hoping, especially after she seems to capture the eye of one particular notable newcomer to the 1814 Social Season.

With her daughter, Cressida, ending her first season unwed and untitled, Lady Cowper is even more determined to find her daughter an eligible man to marry before the season is up. But with the Sharma family rejoining society, it may be harder than Lady Cowper hopes...

Hosting the Sharma family during the 1814 season, the shrewd dowager and matchmaker takes a rather personal interest in finding Edwina a husband- but Kate may have a difference of opinion in her choice.

Prudence Featherington, eldest daughter to the late Lord and Lady Featherington, stormed into the 1813 season fully intent of finding herself a match. Needless to say, her plan didn't succeed. But with the hunt for Lady Wistledown only growing more feverish, will she be able to quell the flames of interest, or will she go down with a sinking ship?

Philippa Featherington is the middle child of Lord and Lady Featherington. After the 1813 season left her without with a father, her marriage proposal from the perfectly acceptable Mr Finch is in peril. Despite all of this, Philippa is more determined then ever to marry Mr Finch... as long as her family's financial strains don't continue to strain her prolonged courtship, of course.

Overlooked by the bachelors of the Ton, youngest Featherington sister, Penelope, tends to keep to the fringes of the ballroom floor. Unlike her best friend, Eloise Bridgerton, she rather enjoys observing her peers and overhearing the latest gossip. While she continues to hope her longtime crush, and Eloise's older brother, Colin, will someday see her as more than a friend, she has other ambitions to make her way.

Portia Featherington, matriarch of the Featherington family and widow to Lord Featherington, could be said to be the most ambitious mama of all. After her failed plan to have all three of her daughters matched by the end of the 1813 season, Lady Featherington is more determined than ever to see that at least one of her daughters finds the match that she believes they deserve. Just because her family estate seems to be in shambles, doesn't mean that it will deter her from getting what she wants.

Jack may be the newest member of the Ton, but despite his new residency he already seems to have a connection with one of its most notable families. Much like the family he is joining, Jack too harbors many secrets... but the truth must come out eventually, right?

Simon Basset, otherwise known as the Duke of Hastings, has just become a father for the very first time, but the new responsibility leads to new paths. It seems as though the Duke of Hastings has decided to take a longer leave of absence from the 1814 season than was originally expected, deciding to raise his and Daphne's son in Clyvedon rather than London, a notion that Daphne is rather content with.

Daphne Basset, neé Bridgerton, the Duchess of Hastings has just given birth to a healthy baby boy, the next Duke of Hastings. With her sigh standing in society, Daphne is already stepping back into society for the 1814 season with a determination that hasn't been seen thus far. After deciding to leave her newborn son in Clyvedon with her husband, Daphne journey's back to London to kick off the start of the season, but will she and her family make it though yet another season with lady Whistledown breathing down their necks?

THE HUNTINGDON'S

*appears in mentions only*

the late Paul Walker as

Nathaniel, Earl of Huntingdon, may have been absent for much of the 1813 season, but with his business concluded (for now), he finds himself back at home with his family enjoying the new 1814 season.

A gentleman with a knack for money, he knows when he is being played, and when he is playing others, he is taking a small step back from his business to allow his son to begin and learn the tricks of the trade. Despite his infamous business deals- all of which have only grown his family's wealth- he still finds himself in good social standing within the Ton.

Some might even say that he and his family (the newly titled Duke and Duchess of Windsor included, of course), may even run the Ton.

Angelina Jolie as

Charlotte, Countess of Huntingdon is well known to be a lover of gossip. Why else would she be constantly seen around the likes of Lady Featherington and Lady Cowper?
