《Reincarnated as a female Emperor in the BL novel》Page 7: Basic.

"haaaaa...."
the sound of long sighs rang out in the hallway lit by candles and magic lamps.
It can be seen in the sky that there is weak sunlight visible in the eastern sky.
Camilia woke up before sunrise due to her habit as a workaholic since she was 8 years old in her previous life.
"aigoo"
Camilia, who was picking up some information from her 'father and other father' quarrel yesterday afternoon, was feeling extremely frustrated.
'world vice versa'
if in the previous world there was a time where men were at the top and women were the trophy, this is where it happened with the roles being swapped.
Her brain spun to compile all the information as she kept walking, blankly staring.
One, her mother was an emperor who had many husbands.
meaning that gender imbalance is common sense in this world.
Two, she who is the only princess of this empire must continue the throne. This means that rigorous training as a successor is waiting at her door.
Three, there will be her coronation as crown princess in about a week.
Her silent movements made even the soldiers she passed by, unaware of her presence.
There was no sound from her little footsteps.
Camilia is also aware of this.
'Looks like apart from my proposal being misinterpreted by the god of death, the other requests were done right.'
Her proposal is that she wants the world in her second life, women have rights and freedoms.
When she heard this world was known as a novel the thing to avoid was a forced marriage.
Because most novels adopt a time setting when women are powerless, so with this proposal she can choose to be a single rich again.
her first request was to bring all her knowledge and expertise.
Well, for a reason.
Camilia has worked hard for it, so why waste it and suffer again to study, right?
After all she would get rich faster then.
Second, she wanted to be born into a rich family.
why? well you could say this is a shortcut ringing in her head so she doesn't have to work from scratch again, and it doesn't hurt either.
Which evidence that these two requests were properly granted can be seen from the ability of her brain, the silence of her movement, and she was born from a family that was not only rich but powerful as a member of the imperial family.
'but I don't know the third one'
She stopped walking, holding her aching head while taking a deep breath.
the third request is not born as the person who is the center of the story.

But isn't she a genius? Her memory must be amazing!
After all, how many novels can a person as busy as herself read in their spare time?
remembering the names of the characters from the novels isn't that difficult is it?
By simply comparing her current name and the names in her memory, she could be more certain about the three requests.
well, the problem is....
"I don't even have a ..."
She grumbled under her breath.
'why do I have to wait for my coronation before I have a name?!'
she tugged at her hair in frustration, remembering the answer of the overjoyed maid who prepared her nightgown.
-
"Your Highness your name will be given after the coronation ceremony by the Emperor herself! And don't worry because the color of your eyes is the identity of this imperial family!!"
she answered enthusiastically, while combing Camilia's hair.
"And according to the law.
Your Highness, you may only know the name of Her Majesty for the first time at your coronation."
-
and unfortunately she also can not know her mother's name.
moreover her mind tell her there might a chance that husband does not seem to get his wife's last name without conditions, after heard what the maid said earlier.
So the names of her biological father and brother, did not become the information she needed.
She blinked a few times, letting out a long breath while looking around.
The many glass balls filled with fire magic made it easier for her to see.
Huge trees and a chair fell within her vision, instead of green leaves there were many purple strands that seemed to sway in the wind.
While walking towards the chair, her thoughts moved again as her gaze fell on one of the magic balls.
'But the chances of me being a heroine or a villainess are slim, since my background doesn't match any standards.'
Camilia sat on the chair, while still trying to think calmly and rationally.
The standard for heroine is usually set in a childhood full of misery but full of love later, in contrast to villainess which is set in a childhood that is at its peak but suffering later.
'damn!! all things damned!!-'
more and more dangerous swear words kept popping up in her mind, but her expressionless face as she sat up straight made anyone miss the truth at all.
Camilia who has started to calm down remembers something, it's an activity she has to do from now on.
"Basic test, huh?"
She muttered, brushing the hair on her face.

'I'd better go back, if I'm not mistaken the test will start at 6 o'clock.'
She thought while looking at the sunlight that was getting brighter than before.
With that Camilia got up and walked back to her bedroom
📖_________________________________📖
Located in the Blue Blood Moon Palace, is a forbidden place for unauthorized persons to enter.
of course servants and librarians are allowed, for cleaning and collection management reasons.
But today is not like any other day.
7:30 am.
At the main table which now has many piles of books on it, one of the chairs is seen occupied by a woman who is taking off her glasses.
A pile of papers could be seen in one hand, with the other to turn the pages.
only one word came to the woman's mind.
'crazy..'
The pile of papers was nothing but Camilia's answer to the 'basic test'.
And what is called the 'basic test' contains 200 multiple choice and 100 essay questions.
With fields covered: mathematics, science, accounting, administration, and economics.
Each of the five fields has 60 questions.
'Seriously?!'
The woman's pupils shook the more she turned the papers.
'All the answers are correct?.......'
The gray-brown haired woman asked in disbelief in her head as she finished scrolling through the answer sheets.
Veda Odette, the first daughter of the Odette family.
was the one who was the examiner of the basic test, as well as the princess's first test.
The beautiful-looking woman who became the youngest scholar of the magic academy when she was 17 years old and now at her 25th was the first disciple of the great mage, was in a state of shock.
'I did explain a few points first, but these questions are modifications whose difficulty lies on another level!'
She who said in her heart like that clenched the hand that was holding the pile of paper, but the fist loosened immediately due to something that popped up in her mind.
'The princess' rose mana is very dark and deep.'
'Is it because of that?'
like all plants that need nutrition, this rose is also not too much different.
What is different is 'where' the nutrients come from.
And for this the nutrition comes from the blood, more precisely the blood of her biological father.
it doesn't take much, just a few drops onto the magic circle located above the glass coffin.
Several questions kept popping up in the woman's head, but the corners of her pastel red lips quickly rose into a small grin.
'The deeper and darker the rose color means the stronger its abilities will be, and with this level of intelligence...'
"Jackpots!"
She subconsciously raised her voice and shouted, with eyes full of enthusiasm.
"I heard screams. teacher, is everything okay?.."
The question was heard from the 5th floor of the library but since they were the only ones there, the voice was clear.
"It's nothing, Your Highness.
I'm sorry if I made you worry for no reason."
replied Veda with a gentle smile.
but she who was a gifted mage strengthened her vision with magic, and could see the princess's expressionless face clearly.
(Camilia's attire)
her piercing eyes filled with enthusiasm for the jackpot from heaven her country won, making eye contact with her reddish-mauve as Siberian stone eyes.
And as for Camilia, she feels a little irritated by the expression on Veda's face.
The woman's gaze seemed to have found a rare treasure.
Camilia covered her irritability with a stoic expression.
"In that case. I hope you don't mind if I return my attention to books again, teacher."
"Certainly, Your highness. It would be a pleasure for the entire empire if its future ruler had a thirst for knowledge."
Veda answered in a calm yet cheerful voice while bowing.
'glib-tongue'
Camilia said to herself when she heard that answer.
"Unfortunately I have to say goodbye for now.
Your results on the test just now will be out after I report to Her Majesty and the academy."
"Then I will wait, teacher.
may protection always be with you."
hearing Camilia's words full of dignity excited Veda, but she had to suppress her enthusiasm to act like a noble.
"All glory to the empire's brightest star."
and with that veda ended the conversation and disappeared into the emperor's palace.
"finally."
Camilia muttered, while going back to reading the book about the culture of this world.
while reading she recalled the test she had done earlier.
'how can that test be called 'Basic' ?!'
Camilia was a genius both as a child or as an adult so a test like that was easy, but there was a question in her head when she saw the test.
'are all the women here geniuses or what?'
To be honest Camilia did the test properly only because she was still lacking in information regarding the standard of 'Normality here', and the consequences that would result from non-conformance to that standard.
'It would be very bad if I was deemed abnormal and taken to a mental hospital.'
She thought.

Eater of Spirits
Story is abandoned. There will be no more updates on it. Jarod is kind of a loser, as it goes with these stories. A tear in his reality pulls him into another world, where he gains the ability to devour spirits, the locus of magic within the world. This is far from my first foray into fiction, but it is my first time posting anything to royal road, and first time writing LitRPG. This is an exercise in putting things out there, and just writing. That means that all of this is going to be a first draft, where edits may come sparsely if there is a glaring issue or something I think should be better. Thanks for reading!

8 130Blended (Beastars Cafe AU)
It was a pretty slow day at Legosi's small cafe. The light chatters of the animals inside were a calming white noise to Legosi's ears. At least, until a certain red deer came, that is.~~~~~The cover art is by Nekokat. Check them out! 8 53The Tablets of Gitata
Set in the world of Ioga, a grain hanging from a ripe, cosmic ear of wheat afloat in the vast emptiness of the heavens, this is the defining story of an era. The main characters are all people of the Riverlands; a fertile valley filled by three parallel rivers. Full of blood, battles, feuds and mythic beasts, the tablets of Gitata make up the largest body of literary work by the people of the Riverlands, the Gigi'abid in their own tongue, meaning 'beautiful people'. The tablets tell the story of the boy-king, Gitata and his struggles for power. They also cover the tales of Ninri'a, warrior woman beyond reproach, as well as the priest Pinpirig and his unlucky journey to reclaim the stolen statue of his beloved goddess. Along the way, a slew of gods are introduced and the the machinations of the distant elemental god of mercury threaten to end the reign of the Riverlanders.
8 184Free Your Mind
A journey through the mind can be a mixture of the good, the bad, the pure, and the evil. Free Your Mind is a collection of poems and short stories that I've written over the years. As of now, this book is still in progress, but I've planned to release at least 25 to 30 chapters minimum for Free Your Mind. Hopefully you enjoy reading through the works already published for this book, and I hope you'll stick around for what's to come in the future. If you have any comments, ideas, critiques, etc. please let me know! I'm always open to what people have to say about my work. Free Your Mind is a way for me to dabble into releasing my writings for the public to read. And hopefully, if all goes decent with this book, I'll continue to upload different works alongside this. Note: Currently the cover work for Free Your Mind isn't mine. I plan to upload an original design once I've completed the chapters for this book.
