i haven't got ready and jack is on his way with the boys. i don't wear much dresses or get dressed up in general. maybe wear a cute outfit once in awhile but not much.
i was getting frustrated and slammed my fist against the table stand. whining in pain afterwords.
"honey, are you okay?" my grandma knocked on the door opening it slowly. "yeah im fine." i said trying to calm myself down.
"what are you looking for dear?" she stood in my doorway. "a dress but i don't have any that fit me." i said.
"you're going to a party aren't you." she said. i signed and gave her a nod. "i have some dresses your mother had in some of her boxes when she passed away. i'll be right back." she walked out of my room.
my mom and i almost had the same body figure. she had a nice figure; always working out with me. which i still work out to keep the rhythm we had a month ago.
"here sweetie." she handed me a black dress. it was off the shoulder and probably went to my knees. "go try it on i'll wait here." she sat on my bed while i changed in the closet. i walked out and went towards my mirror.
"you look beautiful sweetie." i looked in the mirror and it was slim fitting to my body, showing the curves. i didn't have much curves but it looked i did have them in this dress. the dress went about 4 inches above my knees. which meant if i bent over it would basically show my underwear.
"i'm going to leave before you complain about the dress on you. i'll be in my room; drinking my tea like usual." she left my room.

i let my hair down and brushed through it. leaving it straight. realizing in the mirror my hair was almost long as the dress. only when i leaned down but still that's a lot. i walked into my bathroom and did some light makeup. putting on my white vans only because i don't own heels.
i heard a honk outside and ran downstairs with my phone in my hand. opening the door i walked outside and jack rolled down his window.
"wow isabella..." jack's jaw dropped while corbyn shouted in the back. "that's my girl! i knew you would wear a dress." corbyn popped his head out of jack's window.
"corbyn get back in your seat." jack pushed corbyn's face back with his hand, shoving him back in his seat. i laughed and opened up the door to the back. sliding in and sitting next to zach.
~
we arrived at nicole's house and jack parked his car on the side of the road. only because there were cars packed up along the street.
"here let me help you out." jack said while he grabbed my hand, helping me out of the car. all of us walked into the house. full of loud music, drinks all around the house, and teens having a make-out fest. then a bunch of kids surrounding us as soon as we got in there.
daniel grabbed my hand and led me into the kitchen. the rest of the boys following behind us. daniel grabbed a cup and started pouring some alcohol in it, passing it to me.
"do i have to drink it." i questioned. "just this one drink or at least hold it so it looks like your having fun." he said passing the other guys cups as well. someone hit my arm making me drop my phone on the ground.

i picked up my phone and i came back up. "hey." i looked over and there was blake. "umm hi." i said.
he had my drink in his hand and he handed it to me. "why did you have my drink?" i said looking down at it. "oh no reason i was getting ready to hand it back to you. now drink it's a party silly." he said smiling.
he was right and i started drinking the beer. i looked around and saw some girls staring at me while they laughed at me. i looked at the way i dressed. i turned around and saw the boys talking with jonah.
i then whispered into corbyn's ear. "corbyn these girls are staring at me. do i look like a slut?" he looked down at me. "no i think you look beautiful, you're not dressing like the other girls. now that's what you call a slut." he pointed to a girl with her top off talking to multiple guys.
i looked at her and nodded my head at him. looking down almost feeling guilt for going out and partying tonight. he grabbed my waist and pulled me into a side hug. kissing my forehead. "hey go have some fun, we'll be right here if you need us." he whispered into my ear.
i gave him a smile and turned to jonah. jonah looked at me for a split second but turned to look at zach. jonah didn't really talk to me much besides saying a couple of words to me. sometimes i catch him looking at me whenever im talking to a boy. he will never look at me whenever im with the boys; like jack. besides that he doesn't talk to me.
i walked out of the kitchen and went to living room where everyone was dancing. i started to almost chug my drink, setting it down shaking my head from the taste. i started dancing to the music.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
