《Kidnapped by the Alpha》Chapter 13: Explanation

Abby and Isabelle both stared at the two of them for a moment before they busted out laughing. They held on to their stomachs from laughing so hard. After a moment, Isabelle choked out, "wow guy's that's hilarious. Now tell us the real reason why."
She looked at their serious faces and so did Abby when she didn't hear them make a sound. "Oh, you're serious?" Abby asked. She then looked at Isabelle and said, "I think someone messed up their brains if they think that werewolves exist."
Isabelle nodded in agreement, "I think you're right, but we'll go along with it anyways."
"We're being serious!" Jared half yelled, his eyes becoming a little black before he closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths, calming down. He then opened his eyes again so they were back to his original blue color now.
Isabelle and Abby both looked at each other weird, wondering what in the world had just happened. They then looked back at the boys again and said, "if you can prove that you're werewolves, then maybe we'll listen and believe you."
Jared looked back at Luke and it looked like they were having a conversation in their head, which was weird. After a moment, Jared nodded and took a step forward. "Fine, you want proof that we're wolves, I'll give you proof." He then started to take off his shirts and Isabelle's eyes went straight towards the six pack, mesmerized by it, that was until he started to take his pants off. Both of them squealed and covered their eyes. Isabelle yelled, "what are you doing? Put your pants back on!" but she was secretly looking through her fingers, blushing a little as she saw him only in boxers.
Jared shook his head, "no can do. You wanted me to prove that we're werewolves, so here you go. I'm giving you what you want."
"But you don't have to take your clothes off to do so!" Isabelle shot back.
"That's where you're wrong, I do have to," Jared answered, "now take your hands away from your face so you can see it for yourself for me turning." Luke growled a little and Jared said, "oh, shut up, I'm not going to let your mate see anything. Don't get your panties in a bunch." He shook his head as they both took their hands away from their face and when he saw them looking at him, Jared's bones started cracking and soon enough, a midnight black wolf was standing right in front of them.

Isabelle felt like she should scream, but for some reason, she felt safe around this wolf, not to mention like there was something inside of her pulling her towards him. She slowly reached her hand out towards him. She half expected him to growl, bite, or back away from her, but he did none of that, instead he came towards her and pressed his muzzle against her hand. Her eyes widened in surprise at the action before she smiled softly and started to stroke his fur. A purr like rumble came from the wolf in front of her and he pressed against her more, even if he was her height while sitting.
"Okay now," Luke said rolling his eyes, "you can change back now. I think we get it that werewolves do exist."
Abby looked up at Luke and said, "you can do that too?"
"Yes, I can, now come on Jared, change back," Luke answered while looking at Abby.
Jared growled slightly but backed up and started changing back into a human form. "Whoa Jared! Not here! Go somewhere else!" Luke jumped in front of Abby and covered her eyes so she wouldn't be able to see him in his naked glory.
"Ahh!" Isabelle screamed upon seeing him like that and covered her eyes. "Well thanks Luke, you could've done the same for me or at least give me some warning that he was going to be naked after turning from a wolf to a human!"
Luke chuckled, "sorry, but I doubt Jared would have liked that. And besides, I've got my own problems anyways."
"Like what?" Isabelle questioned him as she heard Jared laugh at her reaction at seeing him like that.
"Like covering Abby's eyes so she wouldn't see him," Luke answered.
Isabelle rolled her eyes behind her hands and furiously blushing cheeks, "and you couldn't have done that to me. Wow, some friend you are. Wait, you're not a friend, what am I saying?"
Luke chuckled and was about to reply when Jared said, "okay, I'm dressed again, you can open your eyes."

Isabelle peaked out from between her fingers first to see if it was true. When she saw it was, she sighed in relief and took her hands away from her face and eyes. After a moment, once everyone was situated again, Isabelle asked, "so, now that we know werewolves do in fact, indeed exist, why did you kidnap us? Is there some reason for it?" Isabelle knew she should be scared, but for some reason, she just wasn't.
Jared nodded, "yes, well you see, you're our mates."
"Mates?" Abby asked before Isabelle could, "what do you mean mates? We're not your friends."
Jared shook his head, "no, not as mates as in friends. Have you heard of soul mates?" When they both nodded, he continued, "well that's what it is for us. Us werewolves have soul mates but we shorten the term up and call it mates."
"So, if I'm not mistaken," Isabelle said, "I'm your soulmate while Abby is Luke's?"
"That's correct," Jared nodded.
Isabelle looked over at Abby and said, "I think there is still something wrong with their brains, what do you think?"
Abby looked thoughtful, "I don't know, I think they might be telling the truth." She turned to them and asked, "so, if what you're saying is true, why did you kidnap us? You could have acted like normal people and we would have eventually, I guess, fallen for you and live with you forever if that's what you mean. So why go through all this trouble kidnapping us?"
Luke scratched the back of his neck and answered, "well, you see, we live pretty far away from where you guys do. We didn't want to lose you after finding you, so we took these drastic measures and decided to kidnap you. We didn't want to keep coming back to see you so we took you with us instead."
"Wow," Isabelle said, "looked how that turned out. You got bitten by your own dog because of that." She laughed again as she remembered the look on their faces.
"Yeah, well, I guess we did kind of deserve that. But no matter, do you guys see why you're here now?" Luke asked.
Slowly, they both nodded and Abby answered, "yeah, I guess so. I just wish you could have told us first instead of doing this."
"And now you see why you're never leaving," Jared answered. Isabelle was about to protest but Jared cut her off saying, "and yes, you will be able to see your families again in the future, but for now, I think we've explained enough for right now. If you have any questions, you can ask us later. Let's take a break and do something else."
"How about we go shopping?" Abby asked, "I don't want to keep wearing your guy's clothes. It doesn't feel right, I want my own clothes."
Jared and Luke exchanged a glance before nodding, "alright, I guess we can go shopping so you guys can pick out your own clothes. I guess you kind of do need them. But we are coming with you and your not going to leave our sights, got that?"
They both nodded enthusiastically and Jared said, "alright, go get ready. You can take anything from the closet that you think is presentable for you to go out in public. Now go."
Without having to be told twice, they both shot up from the couch and raced up to their own rooms to get ready to go to the mall.
