I touched my lips looking at Percy intensive but he looked away. Clarisse looked at both of us. "Is there something wrong?" she said suspiciously. "No. not at al" I respond quickly. "Great" she turned her head and faced the crowds. Maybe she did not see it. It. "Everybody! You've got a lot to tell us but for now well take you back to your camps!" everybody cheered. "And celebrate our victory!" she screamed even louder.

People were sorted to their camps, some heading for New Rome and some for camp half-blood. When we were back everybody was happy. It was amazing for them but I could never feel worse. After the kiss Percy refused to speak to me but he had to stay until Annabeth came home. And Piper. I couldn't feel the love for her anymore. I couldn't. The day after I couldn't stand it anymore. I woke up early and went to Percys cabin. He was awake, of course. I went through his window and closed it down. He looked at me with tired eyes. "Percy-" I interrupted myself. "We, we need to talk" he agreed. I sat down. "Okay so maybe were just experiencing new feelings, new sexualities" Percy looked at me with even more tired eyes. "Are you listening?" He didn't respond. Then he took a deep breath and started to speak. "Ever since I saw you the first time something started to develop in my head. I was confused at first but I soon realized not only girls was my attraction" he paused before continuing. "It got worse when I realized she didn't ment the same for me as she did and-" he didn't continue. He just lay down with an hurt face. We didn't speak for minutes. Then I continued to speak. "Percy, what are we going to do?" I asked but feared the answer. What about the girls? Would they get hurt? Would they laugh? It wouldn't work would it? it really hurt the fact that we had to leave everything behind us and our love would be more sad than real life. "We must go on with our life, as it were meant to be-" i didn't care I grabbed him and kissed him even if. He didn't even need to agree, he kissed me back. it got more intense, even more intense, shirts got of, hands al over the place, I couldn't feel more happy. This was the answer to my feelings, this. And it felt so good. I wanted this moment to last forever but wishes usually did not come true. It was morning soon, people would be suspicious if they saw that I came out from Percys window. I stopped. "What now?" he asked. I looked into his eyes, they were so sad. This could not just be attraction, this boy. Dam. This boy really got me.

Path of the Hive Queen
A girl wakes up alone in the wilderness with no memory, climbing out of an egg. She has human knowledge that doesn’t seem to match her body. Now she needs to not only survive, but figure out the blue boxes, her biology, and how to build up and protect her hive, while balancing her Hive Queen instincts with the human parts of her mind. Her instincts want her to treat her progeny as expendable tools and destroy everything that might possibly one day be a threat. She’d rather not become an apocalypse. But she does need to secure resources and territory for her hive, and maybe a bit of conquest wouldn’t be so bad. A fantasy adventure with litRPG elements and kingdom building, telling the story of a Hive Queen and her family. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The Mook Maker
There are many possible fates that can await those whisked away from our world to another. Some became heroes or villains, given the right power to forge their own destinies as they wished. Others, the powerless, became victims, doomed to perish, at the mercy of the cruel world filled with mystical powers they are unprepared for. A lone man that woke up alone under the alien sky was neither of those. He didn't get to choose what he was going to become - a disaster, an unwilling source of intelligent, yet violent monsters, slowly but steadily rising in numbers. Stranded in a foreign land, without even knowing the language, his creations may be the only company he would ever find. He wasn’t powerless. But was he really that much better off? It just took one wrong power.

The Queen's Guard
Friedrich Schreiner is a proud gefreiter of the Queen's Guard, 2nd Company: the finest fighting infantry on the continent (barring the Temple Guard; but please don't bring that up). Service is honourable but, with the Empire on a peacetime footing, terribly boring. Affairs take a dramatic turn for the worse when a mysterious invader uses a forgotten and taboo magical means to breach the capital, plunging the nation into chaos and endangering the royal family. With events spiraling out of control, Friedrich is entrusted with a critical mission. Will hot lead, cold steel, and his determination be enough to see him through? The Queen's Guard is what I'm calling a black powder fantasy story: it's set in a loose equivalent of the early 18th century (plus or minus a few pieces I decided I wanted or didn't want). Magic exists, but not in a spell-slinging sort of way: it's Earth-shaking undertakings or minor enchantments forged in by master craftsmen, the grand working of a secretive cabal or a slight nudge to the course of a blow. I, the eternal optimist, have a full trilogy in mind. The first book is The Prince's Arquebusier, hence the cover and the title disagreeing! This is my shot at 2021's NaNoWriMo and RR Writathon! I've hitherto been terrible at writing long-form fiction, so this is an effort to break out of that by having some accountability in being supposed to post chapters regularly. Here's hoping it works! I have an outline, but not too much detail. I'll do my best to avoid continuity errors, doing anything glaringly stupid, or otherwise fluffing my lines, but I can't make any promises on that. Please do let me know any feedback! Always happy to improve. [participant in the Nov 2021 Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Love, Napalm & Homicidal Fairies
When Nasilain started traveling between worlds, she hadn’t expected to get caught by a police officer. Nasilain: Traveling between worlds always filled Nasilain with dread. All those men with their friendly smiles and hundreds of questions. What was the last movie she watched? What music did she like? What country was she from? If Nasilain could use magic in this world, she would’ve blocked the flow of calcium ions in their jaw muscles just to shut them up. The scientific knowledge she could find on the internet using the free Wi-Fi in one of the local coffee shops forced her to tolerate the occasional interrogation. But even hipsters were better than Seth, the beefy police officer that caught her teleporting. Apparently, she wasn’t allowed to lie to him, which was fine as long as he didn’t ask about the clone. Seth: Seth had seen his share of bad luck. On normal days, it manifested as a shoulder injury that got him discharged from his SEAL team or wounding a civilian while on the police force. But landing in a parallel dimension with elves in neon green pants, a cute mad scientist with magical abilities, and swarms of carnivorous fairies? That was a first. At least Nasilain promised not to use her magic to split atoms. Content warning: This book DOES NOT contain zombie fairies. Everything else is fair game though.
