"I really hate other people." Zayn said, swallowing as Harry used his free hand to wipe the tears from his cheeks.
Harry's other hand was in Zayn's hair, playing with it.
It was only Wednesday, and the two were under the bleachers, skipping lunch.
Zayn was forced to answer a question he didn't know in front of everyone during his second class, which led to him being humiliated.
He tried to ignore the way it made him feel, but it only built up inside of him.
He broke on his way to lunch when Harry wouldn't stop asking him what was wrong.
Now here they were.
Harry was sitting up, leaning back against one of the poles while Zayn's head was rested on his thighs.
"I don't. But I understand why you do." Harry eventually replied, using his free hand to hold one of Zayn's.
"Why don't you? They're all so worthless and in the way. There to stare, and laugh, and breathe out of their mouths. There to be dumb, and smelly, and stupid looking." Zayn said, beginning to make himself mad.
"Zayn," Harry said gently, squeezing his hand a little. "I don't hate people because...I don't really know them. I just see them as other beings, living their own lives." He shrugged.
"Lives that are insignificant." Zayn muttered.
"They're not insignificant to their parents. Their families don't think they're worthless." Harry said.
"Of course not, they're dumb too." Zayn spat.
Harry pressed his lips together, continuing to play with Zayn's hair.
"Are you angry at yourself?"
Zayn looked up at him. "Course I am. Why else would I lash out towards everyone else?"
"Don't try to shrink me, Harry. I'm fully aware of how fucked up I am."
"Then why don't you do something about it?" Harry asked.
"You saying I'm fucked up?" Zayn asked, giving him a look.
"N-No I just-"
"Relax, I'm kidding." Zayn smiled.

"Making a change is where my knowledge pool gets shallow." Zayn chuckled.
"I see." Harry said, smiling a little.
"Sorry I've been such a baby today." Zayn sighed as he sat up, feeling embarrassed now because he'd broken down and cried in front of Harry.
All because of a stupid question.
"Zayn, you haven't been a baby. You were just expressing your emotions. You can't help what you feel." Harry said.
Zayn rotated his body, facing Harry some more now.
"Is that right, doctor?"
Harry smiled sideways, as if he was trying to stop the smile. "Yeah. I can't help the fact that when I look at you everything feels okay."
Zayn gave him a fond look, blushing lightly.
"That, and I think you're really hot and I want you on top of me." Harry added.
"Will do." Zayn said, moving him and pushing him down on the ground, getting on top of him.
"Zayn wait, here?" Harry chuckled, blushing.
He may have been hinting towards protesting, but his legs still found their way around Zayn's hips.
"Yeah." Zayn smiled before their lips met.
"What if...we get caught?" Harry asked between kisses, tangling his fingers into Zayn's hair.
"Don't care." Zayn said, kissing him passionately.
Harry melted, pulling him closer.

"Zayn?" Trisha asked, coming into his room as he stood there packing to stay with Harry again Friday night.
"Yeah?" He asked, stopping.
"You leaving me again?" She smiled.
He looked down at his bag and back at her. "Oh, um, yeah."
"I'm sorry."
"You don't have to apologize, sunshine. I just miss coming home to you on the weekends. It's strange without you here. Though, I should be used to it now. You've been running off with Harry every weekend." She said.
Zayn blushed. "Yeah, I guess."
"When am I going to get to meet him?" She smiled.
"Uh, I don't know." Zayn said uncomfortably.

"Well whenever you're ready I'd be happy to meet him. We can have him over for dinner." Trisha suggested.
"Yeah, maybe." Zayn said, zipping his bag.
Trisha watched her son. "Do you not want me to meet him?"
"Mom, of course I do. We've only been together like, a week. Just give it time." Zayn shrugged.
"Okay, sorry." She smiled.
There was a knock at the front door.
"I'll see you Sunday." Zayn said, kissing her cheek and heading for the door.
"I'm not ready for grandchildren, you know!" Trisha teased.
Zayn rolled his eyes, getting out as quick as he could.
"Hi." Harry chuckled, taking a step back when Zayn came rushing out.
"Hey, let's get going." He said, walking past Harry.
"You okay?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. My mom was just- I'm fine. How are you?"
"Happy." Harry smiled at him.
"Good." Zayn smiled back.
After they got to Harry's and settled down in his bed, they watched a couple movies then chatted until they fell asleep.
The next morning Zayn woke up to Harry covering his face in little kisses.
"Quit." He chuckled, turning his head.
"Why?" Harry smiled, kissing his jaw.
"Hm?" Harry hummed when Zayn didn't answer, getting on top of him.
"I haven't had time to understand the universe again yet." Zayn said, eventually opening his eyes and looking up at him.
"Why do you need to understand it?" Harry asked, dragging the pad of his thumb along Zayn's sharp cheekbone.
Fuck every inch of this boy was so perfect.
Harry couldn't decide what he liked the most about Zayn.
Though right now, it was his raspy morning voice that was turning Harry on.
"Helps me function." Zayn replied softly, reaching up and tucking some of Harry's curls behind his ear.
He loved to touch Harry's curls, and look into those beautiful eyes.
"You know something? You're like Johnny Depp. Except you're dating me." Harry said, looking over Zayn's face.
"Oh my God." Zayn mumbled, chuckling and looking past him at the ceiling.
"I mean it. You're just so perfect." Harry said.
"Okay, enough." Zayn said, kissing him to get him to shut up.
Harry chuckled, rolling them over and pulling Zayn on top of him.
"Are you naked?" Zayn whispered as he realized how much of Harry's thighs he could feel against his waist.
"Almost." Harry said before he bit his lip shyly, a soft blush on his cheeks.
"You had on shorts when we went to sleep."
"Took em' off." Harry said softly, trying not to smile.
"So...you're wearing-"
"Pink briefs."
"Pink like-"
"The color, this time. I'm not wearing panties." Harry smiled.
"Ah." Zayn said, his voice cracking.
"Mhmm. Wanna see?"
"Um, if-if you want to show me."
"I'd love to." Harry said, kissing Zayn's lips before he slipped out from underneath him and got out of bed.
Zayn moved onto his back, sitting up some and blushing.
Harry looked back at him over his shoulder, smiling. "You don't think they're too small do you?"
Most of Harry's ass could be seen, and that certainly wasn't a bad thing.
In fact Zayn couldn't stop...seeing it.
He swallowed thickly, his face getting redder.
"Um, what?" He eventually managed to form words.
"I asked if you thought they were too small." Harry repeated, loving it when Zayn looked at him like this.
Sure, it made him a little nervous but the confidence Zayn gave him took care of that.
"Too- uh, no. I mean maybe? B-But they look...nice." Zayn struggled to say, looking at Harry's face now.
"I know." Harry smiled, turning and walking off to his closet.
Of course Zayn watched, rolling onto his stomach and groaning into Harry's pillows after he'd left the room.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.
