《Coming together (Dramione)》Ch. 4

Draco helped Hermione move in. He didn't mind that he had to sell some stuff, they both had to.
Hermione was now getting ready for her date whilst Draco attended to an emergency. She could finally use the dress he had bought for her along with the heels. She felt beautiful. Hermione pulled two from strands of hair back and clipped them in place. She then put a light touch of makeup and waited patiently for Draco.
Draco opened the door a few minutes later and smiled at Hermione. He showed her the bouquet of flowers he had behind his back. Hermione couldn't help but blush. "Draco these are beautiful!"
"I'm sorry for running a bit late but I hope I can still make this day special for you." He leaned down kissing her cheek.
"Let's just put these in water and then we can go."
At the car
"You know," Draco said not taking his eyes off the road, "I'm really glad you chose that dress. I'm taking you to this art museum and we may have reservations somewhere."
Hermione's eyes widened, "really?!" Draco nodded. "I really love museums."
———
Draco would never seem the romantic sort of guy. He made it look as if he was the coldest person on earth but the way he looked at Hermione every time she asked about a painting and examined it betrayed him.
They held hands as they went from painting to painting. Hermione listened to Draco explaining their history.
After they finished, Draco drove to the restaurant. He parked and guided Hermione to the entrance.
"Good afternoon welcome to the candle." A kind lady greeted 'brightly' (it had been a long day at work).
"Good afternoon, reservation for Draco." Draco smiled kindly.
"Right this way." They followed the nice lady to their table. Hermione looked around at the restaurant. The tables were dark wood with candles on them. It was a very beautiful place.

They sat down and ordered their food. "I have to tell you something." Draco announced. "Potter visited last night. You fell asleep and i figured I shouldn't wake you up. He was asking about our double date. I told him that I would have to talk about it with you. Whatever you say goes. It doesn't matter that they're your friends, if you don't want to do something or you want to do something that is what will happen."
Hermione nodded, "I do want to do this it's just that I'm nervous. I have to tell them too."
Draco smiled, "as long as you're ready. He gave me his phone number, apparently he got one in hopes to keep in touch with you easier."
————
Hermione:
Hi Harry
Harry:
Hi Mione!
Hermione:
Draco and I talked about the double date and I would really feel comfortable if it was out here in the muggle world. Any Saturday is fine for us, I have work and Draco manages his company.
Harry:
That's fine. We could do it next week then. Gin has a party to attend and it'll give me enough time to find a babysitter.
Hermione:
We'll see you then
Hermione turned off her phone and got into bed still smiling.
———
"I don't care how much it'll cost I just need her to be fine! I'll pay for every fucking bill." Draco ran his hands through his hair as he spoke. He was at his office dealing with paperwork and calling some people to help him find a cure.
There was a knock at his office door. "Come in." Eddie came into the office. "More paperwork?"
Eddie shook his head, "there's a gentleman here. His name is Blaise, he insists on speaking with you."
Draco sighed, "let him in."

Eddie nodded and left. Minutes later he came back with his old friend then left again to give them privacy.
"Lovely company. Reminds me of a certain bookworm, the same one that was seen with you by Pansy." Blaise's sat down. "The one you keep talking about to every doctor or medical wizard. I know everything Draco."
Draco chuckled, "why are you here?"
Blaise rolled his eyes, "I'm here to help obviously. You've never shown this much interest, worry and affection before. It's always Granger."
"So what are you going to do?"
———
Hermione danced around the kitchen making dinner. She was making Spanish food that Draco mentioned he wanted to try. She put the radio on a muggle station and sang along as she cooked.
Draco opened the door and smiled at the image in front of him. Hermione wearing one of his shirts that fit her almost like a dress whilst she enjoyed herself. "Uh mate are you going to just stand there and stare?" Blaise asked startling Hermione and Draco.
Hermione blushed, "Hello Blaise, are you staying for dinner?"
"Hello Hermione, I hope it's not a problem if i stay. I actually would like to ask you some questions if you're okay with that."
Hermione glanced over at Draco who shrugged, "about?"
"Well you see, I found out about your little problem and I have to admit at first it was hard to believe. That was until I heard about a very frantic Draco reaching out to the best potion brewers. I just knew I had to see what was making him worry so much. I think I could probably help."
Hermione turned around making sure her food wasn't burnt, "Can it be whilst I prepare this? I really don't want to burn this."
"Sure."
———
Blaise helped Hermione put the table. After he stopped asking the questions they began talking almost naturally. "We should go out and leave our dramatic other halves to chat."
Hermione laughed, "sounds good to me."
"I heard that!" Draco yelled.
"I'm not dramatic!"
"Draco dear do shut up I'm talking to Mione." Blaise smirked at him.
"Well you two sit down, I'll bring the food." Hermione served them dinner and they all sat down.
"One last thing I should tell you Hermione, I need a drop of your blood. For any posible cure for an ancient curse we need the blood of the victim."
Hermione paled a bit, "yeah. That's alright."
———
Draco closed the door after his friend left and went to sit down next to Hermione on the couch. Hermione smiled at him sadly. "What's wring lioness?"
"What if it doesn't work? I just want it to work so badly but I know there's a big possibility that it won't."
Draco hugged Hermione to him, "Blaise is a very smart lad, if this doesn't work maybe he'll find something else."
"I'm scared."
Draco knew this was one of the few times she would admit being scared and the truth was that he was also scared but he had to be strong for his lioness. "We'll figure something out."
Hermione nodded, "we should probably go to sleep."
Draco took Hermione's arms and wrapped them around his neck and stood up taking her legs and wrapping them around his torso securely. Hermione blushed when he placed his hands on her bum. "I can walk," she protested.
"I want to carry you. You always get so red and cute when I do." Draco kisses her forehead gently.
Hermione sighed and snuggled into his neck. "Thank you for everything."

Approached by a suspicious red-haired girl shortly after awakening and recognizing where he was, he's abruptly given a second chance at a youth filled with romance. But what does this forty years old man turned sixteen do when confronted with youth? He flips youth off and tells it to take a hike, he's having none of it.
