Leah sat on the couch her daughters head in her lap with a small smile on her face. Months flew by and she had not heard a thing from Sebastian and secretly she hadn't wanted to. Nik and her had been hooking up more times than anyone could count. They'd both slip away randomly and be back a while later without anyone watching. She couldn't lie she truly loved it, she felt as if they where upping again.

"Mom look," Joy said laughing showing her mother her something funny on YouTube and she only laughed.

"Joy, can we talk please?" Klaus spoke his voice coming from the doorway and Joy sat up glaring at him.

"I'll leave you guys," Leah spoke walking out giving her daughter a reassuring smile.

She stood in the hall listening to both Klaus and ahoy hoping they would somewhat get along.

"Joy I just want you to listen to me for once and I want you to see and know how sorry I truly am," he spoke clearing his throat and Leah peered in watching the two, Joy only watched him as he sat beside her. "I've been a terrible father to you for the past seventeen years, and I've been a terrible husband to your mother, but I want you to know, that I truly do love you with my whole heart, and I haven't stopped thinking about you your whole life I know I was stupid for letting you and your mother leave that night, but Joy I don't regret letting you and your mother leave, because you've become such a beautiful strong woman and I wouldn't have made you into that, your mother did and I'm so thankful you're like her and not me, but I do regret not coming for the both of you sooner, I wish I could turn back time and if I could I would, I wish I where there for you when you where a little girl, Joy you mean everything to me and I want nothing more than to make you happy, if you want me to leave I will leave right now and I won't be in your life if that's what you want, but I truly do hope you allow me to be in your life, it would honestly be a great honour."

Joy only watched him almost contemplating whether she should or shouldn't. Almost as if she was having a mental battle with herself. He only watched her with a look of Hope on his face. She only watched him examining him carefully and suspiciously.

"I forgive you," she spoke and he watched her wide eyed and surprised.

"You do?" He asked confused and she nodded. "Why?"

"Because it's been months and you didn't give up on mom or me, and because I deserve to be happy and I want a father in my life."

"I love you Joy, I'm so sorry," he spoke wrapping his arms around her and she stiffened before hugging him back.

"Mom we know you're outside the room we can smell you," Joy spoke and Leah laughed awkwardly. "Dad?"

"Yes darling?"

"Does this mean you and mom will get back together?" She spoke her heading moving from between the two.

"We have a lot to talk about," leah spoke as klaus spoke at the same time.

"Yes."

"Nik we have a lot to talk about," Leah spoke and he sighed with a nod.

"We have a lot to talk about yet," he spoke looking at his daughter who nodded walking out the room. "We should talk then."

"Take your clothes off," she spoke jumping into his lap as she pulled of her shirt.

"Leah-"

"Take your shirt off," she spoke as he crashed his lips into hers. "Wait, we should go upstairs, Hope and Joy could walk in," she said and he nodded as he grabbed her speeding up the stairs.

"Nik god," She moaned as he kissed her neck and she felt him smirk against her skin.

"My love, I told you I'm not god."

"Shut up and carry on!" She demands and he pulled of her shirt ripping all the buttons in doing so.

After a while they both breathed heavily falling onto Leah's bed and she was laying on his chest as he played with her hair.

"My love?" Nik spoke and she looked up at him.

"Wanna go again?" She asked and he chuckled kissing her head.

"Of course we can but I want to promise you something, I promise to love you always and forever, every single day of our immortal lives," he said and she watched him carefully. "I truly do love you."

She only kissed him passionately with a large smile on her face.

"I love you too Nik, I always have," she spoke and he smiled at her a genuine one.

"For a second I thought you where using me for my body," he joked and she smirked at him.

"Oh I am, I really am," she spoke crashing her lips into his with a smile on her face.

After a little while a nice came from the other side of the door. And the two watched each other slightly panicked.

"Mom?" Joy spoke knocking the door and she looked at Niklaus wide eyed.

"Ahem, yes darling is everything okay?" She asked and her daughter tried turning the door knob.

"Yes I need a tampon," she spot littering through the door and Klaus watched his wife with a look of horror and she held in her laugh.

"Joy darling, there are some in the east wing in the cabinet under the sink."

"Thanks mom, and have you seen dad I've checked everywhere for him," she spoke and leah watched him and he shrugged not knowing what to do.

"Is everything okay, why do you need your father?" She spoke.

"I wanted to ask him something, mom why don't you open the door it'll be easier," the girl spoke speaking into the door, Leah only watched Niklaus her face mirroring his panic.

"Your mother's not feeling well," klaus spoke and leah glared at him.

"Shut up Nik-"

"Are you two...ew that's disgusting," Joy spoke running away from the door and Leah watched him facepalming.

"Oh god She knows," leah sped panicked quickly putting on her clothes.

"Why do you make it sound so bad we're married, married people have sex."

"because we've been unmarried for a long time, and what is we end up breaking up again, I can't put Joy-"

"You can't put Joy through that, or yourself I'm not the same guy I was eleven years ago you need to realise that," He asked almost fully dressed.

Instead of answering his question she stated quiet. She knew she didn't want another messy breakup with him. Nothing would kill her more, Klaus what her Kryptonite he truly was her greatest weakness and she'd hated herself for that.

Watching her, he sighed, his back facing her and his head looking out the window. Looking into the back yard he knew what he needed to do get her to see the new him and that's what he was going to do.

"I'll see you later love, I'll have a surprise for you, so be ready," he spoke watching her with a grin running out the room and she watched him suspiciously.

She only grew confused as he sped away from the home and out the gates. Standing in the entrance area she attempted looking for Joy who'd disappeared.

"Joy uncloak yourself," Leah spoke half amused and half serious.

"How did you even know?"

"I'm your mother darling, and I could smell you," she shrugged with laugh. "We need to talk."

"I don't want to know, please don't tell me what was happening in that room!" She spoke panicked and Leah grew pink.

"Joy your father and I-"

"Mom please we've had the sex talk!" She exclaimed looking uncomfortable.

"Joy-"

"Mom I'm begging you, just keep it to you and I'll never say anything," she begged and Leah nodded reluctantly wanting to explain herself.

"Oh and by the way this is for you," Leah spoke handing her daughter a box and she grinned at her.

"You got me the new Tiffany bracelet?" She asked and her mother nodded with a smile.

"It's from both of us, your dad and I."

"Thanks mom," she spoke with a grin and her mother only smiled at her lightly.

That day she spent the evening with Kol, Davina, Rebekah, Hayley and Marcel as they all laughed and drank. Joy was practicing her magic with Hope Elijah, Freya and Keelin kept an eye on the two just in case. However Klaus wasn't back yet it's almost as if he'd disappeared for the day.

As the door swung open she noticed Klaus walk in a slight panic run up the stairs and back out again. Everyone only watched her with a smirk and she looked confused.

"What's going on with him?" She spoke and they didn't speak so she rolled her eyes. "Kol tell me or I tell on you."

She threatened knowing his secret would bite him in the ass if she opened her mouth. So he narrowed his eyes at get before muttering.

"It's a secret but I know you'll love it."

"How do you know that?"

"Because we're best friends."

"If you're wrong I'll kill you," she threatened as he nodded.

After two hours it grew more darker and everyone slowly disappeared to do whatever it was they needed to do and Leah still hadn't heard from Klaus. Suddenly she felt something in her pocket and she knew it was Joy or Hope as they practiced their magic. Taking the note out her pocket she examined it properly.

Mom will you please come to the beach, it's important. Ps wear something pretty.

Leah was only confused and wondered what her daughter was talking about. Changing out of her pyjamas she changed into a lovely white dress she which just happened to be on her bed.

Making her way to the beach she grew very uncomfortable not knowing what was going on. As she entered the beach she noticed some arrows on the floor almost guiding her.

Making her way towards the end of the beach and saw some red roses on the floor and Joy grabbed her arm and smiled at her taking her towards where Klaus was.

"Joy?" She asked watching her daughter and she only watched with a smile.

"Mom, I love you and I want you to be happy."

Leah watched her daughter as she grew closer to Niklaus as he stood watching the ocean.

"Nik?" Leah spoke and he turned around watching her with a smile.

"I wanted to ask you something," he spoke and she watched him as he grabbed a paper out his pocket with a small smile.

"Leah, I love you with my whole heart and everything in me, and I know I've messed up more times than one can count, seventy years ago before I made you run I was a terrible husband, and I was again when you came back into my life, when you where gone I woke up one day and I realised I wanted you, I wanted you to be apart of every victory and every defeat in my life, I want to share everything with you again, but this time I want to do it right, and I want to make you happy you complete me, you're the other part of me, you're apart of my family and you're a mother to both Joy and Marcellus, and you love Hope just the same amount, I'm a king and a king needs a queen, so leah," he spoke as he got on his knee and she watched him knowing that they where technically already married. "Will you do me the greatest honour and marry me?"

"Nik, we're technically married," she spoke with a small chuckled.

"I know but I want to do it again, I want to show you I've become a better man, so marry me?"

Leah only watched him her face blank of emotion and he grew worried.

"Say yes mom!" Joy spoke with a facepalm and leah cleared her throat.

"Okay, yes I'll marry you," she spoke with a little sigh and he placed the most gigantic rock she'd ever seen on her finger kissing her.

She just hoped she'd made the right decision this time, she turned to see everyone on their family with a smile standing behind her with a grin.

"We've got a wedding to plan," Rebekah spoke and Leah sighed knowing the last time she'd said that she was a crazy person.
