"Hey," Leah spoke announcing her presence.
They all watched her in shock, and Niklaus watched her with a small smile. She hadn't been down with everyone for the past two days she'd only spent the day with Klaus and Joy had slept with her last night, purely by accident since she was watching movies in her room.
For the past two days she waited for Sebastian to call yet he hadn't called her once. She grew more and more stressed by the fact that he didn't call nor text. It was almost as if he removed her from his life and she hated it.
"Don't tell me you've been shacked up with dear saint Nik," Kol spoke a little smirk on his face and Leah threw the cushion at his face.
Joy only watched her mother a look of confusion on her face and her mother noticed it.
"No, we haven't," she spoke shaking her head and he watched them as she rolled her eyes.
Leah sat on the couch next to Klaus as everyone laughed at something on the tv. Joy was in the back yard with Hope practicing to control her magic because she didn't want Freya's help.
"If he moved his leg any closer he'd practically be on her lap," Klaus muttered his voice low taking about Kol and Davina and Leah only giggled.
"He can hear you," she spoke laughing lightly and he shrugged watching her with a smile.
"I do not care," he spoke with a shrug and a smirk.
She only watched him and shook her head with a small smile playing on her lips. Her phone buzzed and she instantly picked it up hoping it was Sebastian and when it wasn't she sighed clearly upset.
Klaus watched his wife she laughed and smiled at her gently. He loved how when she'd smile or laugh her eyes would squint and her nose would scrunch up. He watched as she watched both Kol and Davina trying not to laugh. When her phone buzzed she quickly picked it up with a small smile and put it down with a sad one. He knew she wished it was Sebastian but noticing it wasn't she put her phone down and he couldn't help but feel a little happy. And for that he felt truly guilty.

Leah sat on the couch watching her phone hoping he'd call yet he hadn't and she hated it. She hated not knowing what was going on. As she sat on the couch attempting to watch a movie with their family, she wondered what Sebastian was doing when she saw a small framed photograph. In the photograph, Sebastian had his arm around Leah and with a giant smile on his face holding a nine year old Joy as she kissed his cheek. She remembered that day as if it was yesterday and remembered how happy the three where.
"What's wrong, is the movie boring to you too?" Klaus asked with a sigh and she nodded.
"I'm going to start dinner," She spoke and he nodded.
"I'll help," he said following her into the kitchen and she rolled her eyes as Rebekah wiggled her eyebrows at her.
As they got into the kitchen leah grabbed everything to make a lasagna, something both Joy and Marcellus loved. Klaus only watched her confused not knowing what to do.
"What all I do?" He asked confused and she chuckled at him shaking her head.
"Chop the salad, and put it into the bowl," she spoke preparing the lasagna.
She finished making the lasagna and she popped it into the oven. Klaus watched her as she sat on the countertop watching her phone in anticipation.
"You know if you want you can compel him, perks of being an original vampire and all."
"I wasn't-"
"Leah my love I can read you like an open book," he spoke and she only rolled her eyes at him.
"It's just.. he hadn't called and I'm worried."
"He'd be stupid to let you go, anyone would."
"You did," she spoke and she immediately got his attention as his eyes snapped to hers.
"I was stupid, very very stupid."
She only touched her necklace and he looked at it with a smile.

"I like the new way you wear it, I still remember the day your aunt gave it to you." he spoke and she smiled at him.
"I was so overjoyed, I truly loved it," she spoke with a small laugh.
"I bet the whole village knew how much you loved it, they'd probably be vampires if were hadn't killed them."
"Have you ever thought about it?" She spoke curious and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"Thought about what?" He asked confused by her question.
"Thought about being human, have you ever thought about being one?"
"Once almost sixty years ago when you left the first time, I was on a trek in the Andes and there was this humming bird that flew up to me, it hovered staring at me, it's tiny heart was booming like a machine, and in that moment I thought, what a thing, you know, to have to work heart everyday just to stay alive, to constantly be on the verge of death, and how satisfying everyday must be to be alive, and that was the only time I've ever thought about being human, other than that I like being the most powerful creature on the planet," he spoke with a smile and she nodded understanding.
"Well Nik I wouldn't the most powerful, I'd leave that to Joy and Hope."
"I can't argue with that," he spoke with a laugh before handing her a glass of whiskey and she took it from his hand graciously.
The oven dinged and Leah took the lasagna out the oven whilst klaus watched her drinking his hundredth glass of whiskey.
"You might want to slow down, you're having dinner with your daughters," Leah spoke watching him as his eyes widened.
"Let's hope they can't smell it," he muttered causing her to laugh out loud.
"They're werewolf's they can smell it from a mile away."
"We'll seat them closer to you, then they'll smell it on you first love," he said with a grin and she rolled her eyes with a small smile.
"No thank you, Joy complains how much the smell gets on her neves."
"As does Hope," he spoke with a chuckle.
"We'll make sure they sit on the middle."
"Great idea," he said helping her lay the table both of them slightly tipsy.
"Guys dinner!" Leah spoke calling out to them as both Klaus and Leah watched the perfectly layer table.
Everyone sat on the table and Klaus and Leah both proud as everyone sat eating. Leah sat at the end of their large table and Klaus at the top as they normally would.
"This dinner is amazing mom," Joy spoke and Marcel nodded in agreement as did everyone on the table.
Kol sat with Davina side by side next to Leah noticing her leg almost on top of his she burst out laughing. Everyone watched her as if she was crazy and Klaus watched her with a small chuckled holding his finger to his mouth realised what she was laughing about.
"What are you two laughing about?" Rebekah asked her head moving from Klaus and Leah.
"Oh nothing," Leah spoke and Klaus smiled watching his plate again with a chuckle.
Rebekah only watched the two suspiciously as did everyone at the table including Marcel with a raised brow.
