"Hey what's wrong?" Leah spoke noticing her daughter sat alone in their backyard in front of the pool the ends of her jeans wet.
She only watched her mom unable to speak knowing her mother wouldn't understand so she shrugged with a smile.
"You can tell me, I'm not that old that you have to hide stuff," she spoke nudging her daughter as she sat cross legged next to her, a glass of whine in her hands.
"I don't.. I feel like I'm apart of the perfect family, who'd all die for that stupid vow."
"Joy-"
"I don't expect you to understand."
"Hey, I'm listening and I'll always be listening so tell me, what's wrong?" Her mother said holding her daughters hand in hers.
"Mom Why are they here, it's like everywhere I turn Dad and Hope are stood there and I'm so jealous, I'm so jealous mom because I want what they have I've wanted it since I was six," she spoke her tears freely falling from her face. "I wanted Hope to be my sister and I needed him to be my father, I needed him to be my dad mom."
"Joy, it's okay love let it out," her mother said as she held her as she cried.
"They laugh, they have fun, he loves her so much, why didn't he love me when I was younger he could have faked it, and Hope she's my sister mom I just-" instead of finishing her sentence she flew out with sobs and her mother hadn't known what to say that could make her feel better. "They have everything and I have, I have nothing."
"Leah, Joy?" Davina's soft voice spoke as she entered the back yard watching the little girl she watched grow cry. "What's wrong Joy?"
"Nothing, I'm fine," she spoke wiping her eyes and faking a smile.
"Joy!" Her mother spoke calling out to her but she rushed into the east wing avoiding everyone stood in the kitchen area.
"Leah, is she okay?" Asked a worried Davina.
"No, I don't think she is and I don't know what to do or say to make her feel better," Leah spoke tears falling from her face Davina only hugged Leah comforting her.

Wiping her face and putting on a smile she walked back into the kitchen with Davina and everyone watched her worried.
"Where is Joy?" Marcel spoke and a Leah cleared her throat.
"She's not feeling good," she said with a small distant smile.
"Aunt can I please talk to you?" Hope asked walking to her and she nodded as they walked into the living room.
"I'm sorry," she spoke the second they entered the room and Leah watched the young girl confused.
"Darling you haven't done anything wrong."
"It's my fault Joy isn't happy, I wasn't the sister she needed me to be... I took her dad away from her," she spoke her eyes watery and leah only smiled kindly at the girl.
"You did not take her father away Hope, that was not your fault."
"She hates me, and I love her she's my sister I want to be there for her I want to talk to her," she spoke the pain evident in her voice.
"You can still be her sister."
Hope only watched her hands playing with the ring on her index finger and leah smiled at her kindly.
"Come on," she spoke and Hope followed her confused.
As the two stood outside Joys room they heard her cries and the sound of her music, thinking it drowned the sound of her sobs and sniffles. Leah knocked walking in to notice her daughters back facing away from them and watching out the window.
"Joy?" Spoke her mother's voice soft and she turned facing her.
"What is she doing in my room?" She spoke watching Hope with disinterest.
"She's your sister, and I think you two should talk," her mother said and she scoffed.
"She hasn't spoke to me once in eleven years, I called aunt Hayley to speak to her every time she was home from school until I was twelve, and every time she never wanted to speak to me, and now she does is it because she's here with her father?"
"Joy she is your sist-"
"SHE IS NOTHING TO ME, HER OR HER DAD THEY ARE NOTHING TO ME, listen to me carefully Hope, I hate you, I hate you for not being my sister, I hate you for not taking the phone to talk to me and I hate you for taking the life I deserved!"

"Joy-" spoke her mother shocked at the words leaving her daughters mouth.
"Mom she took everything from me, I Have nothing, I see my family maybe here and there every couple of years, you and I celebrate Christmas alone every year, while I bet she's sat around a big fire with her dad and Aunt Freya, Aunt Bex, Uncle Elijah, Uncle Kol all of them! And I'm left with nothing! I have nothing."
"Joy, I'm sorry I'm so sorry I wish I could go back and I'd change everything!" Hope spoke tears flying from her face.
"Well you can't, now get out my room," she spoke to her sister who watched her sadly before leaving.
"Joy-" her mother started as she walked to her and she watched her mother.
"I thought you would be on my side."
"I will always be on your side, but she is your sister-"
"I don't care mom, she took everything and I got stuck with nothing!" She said and her mother only kept her mouth quiet as her daughter spoke. "I know it hurts you mom, waking up on Christmas morning and it's only the two of us, I watch you as you watch the door hoping anyone of them Will come but they never do, mom I watched you the nights you waited and waited for him to call, i watched you cry when you thought I wasn't looking, I watched how you waited for him everyday and I know you must hate me because it's my fault! IT'S MY FAULT YOU HAD TO LEAVE HIM!"
"You think that? Joy it was never your fault my sweet girl I do not blame you for a thing I left your father because I needed to, so don't you dare ever blame yourself again, and it doesn't matter for me, not Christmas not birthdays not anything as long as I have you I am complete."
"Mom... please don't leave me," she spoke sobbing as her mom held her She felt the pain her daughter was experiencing.
"Joy I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Klaus' voice spoke from behind his wife.
"I won't forgive you," she spoke and he watched the floor ashamed then looked at god wife who wrote a torn expression on her face. "You can't even look me in the eyes you coward."
Elijah stood behind him and so did Freya and they watched her, the pain in her voice.
"I'll never, never forgive any of you I needed you and none of you, NOT ONE OF YOU WHERE THERE FOR ME!" She shouted and laughed bitterly before continuing. "I've heard the stories of the noble brother who always stood by his family yet when I needed you you weren't there, and you Aunt Freya, you didn't care you told me to leave you alone because you were busy with Hope, helping Hope control her magic, I couldn't control my magic it was too much Uncle Kol helped me, through my first transition, and with my magic and wherever I needed him he was there and so was Aunt Bex, I KILLED MY BEST FRIEND DO ANY OF YOU KNOW HOW I FELT?"
Neither of the three could look at her and her voice held all the pain in her voice. "I WATCHED THE LIFE DRAIN OUT OF HER, I ALMOST DIED THAT SAME DAY, I'm going to make all of you feel every amount of pain I've felt."
With that she waved her hand and all three of them where thrown out the room the door slamming behind it.
"Should I ask them to leave?" Leah asked her daughter and she shook her head.
"I want them to feel every little bit of pain I've felt over these past years, then when either of them beg me to help them I won't."
