The mother daughter duo, had been living in Miami for a decade. Neither of them heard from Klaus even as much as Leah wanted to hear his voice. Whenever Joy would call he wouldn't pick up. Leah grew more and more torn as the years flew past. Some days she missed him and so did Joy, yet the seventeen year old knew her father hadn't loved her. As much as her mother would reassure her that he did, she always remembered how he spoke to her mother that dreadful night where her father admitted he wouldn't care for her. However, the young girl kept in touch with Rebekah, Marcel, Davina and Kol. Neither Freya nor Elijah attempted to reach out and talk to the young girl and it broke her heart. Instead of Freya teaching her magic Kol or Davina normally would teach her, through FaceTime, resulting in a large amount of broken phones.

"Joy darling, don't you want to go out?" Her mother spoke and she shook her head.

"No I'm going to the pool."

Leah noticed how much her daughter changed throughout the years. She refused to love anyone other than her mother, believing that if her father couldn't love her no one could.

Instead of arguing with her daughter she sighed with a sad smile. As she sat in the kitchen eating her breakfast she noticed her phone ring. Picking up her phone to see who it was and a small smile crossed her face. Her screen flashed with Marcels name and she grinned answering. Yet when she answered it was not her sons voice she heard.

"Hello love," he spoke his voice soft and tender and she listened in shock.

"Who is this?" She said not sure if she could hear correctly.

"Ouch, has it really been that long?" Her husbands voice spoke and she sighed.

"Niklaus," her voice spoke gently and above a whisper.

"MOM I CAN'T FIND MY BATHING SUIT AND BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING I'VE TRIED A LOCATOR SPELL!" Shouted Joy annoyed into the intercom and her father smiled into the phone.

"I know that sounds all too well, try telling her to find another," he spoke and she nodded.

"Hold on," Her mother's voice spoke back softly as she pressed the intercom button. "Darling you can take one of mine."

"Why am I talking to you right now?" She spoke brushing out of her haze.

"Because I've missed you," he spoke his voice admittedly.

"After eleven years? Niklaus I do not want-"

"I know and I'm sorry but Hope needed me," he said his voice soft and she sighed.

"So did Joy."

"I know and I'm awfully sorry, I couldn't face you or Joy after the things I said to her."

"Mom what's wrong?" A worried Joy spoke as she stood in front of her mother. "Who are you talking to?"

"It's.. it's your father," her mother spoke her voice shaky and her daughter watched in shock.

"Dad's on the phone?" She spoke her voice amazed and her mother nodded.

"Can I speak to her?" He asked his voice barely above a whisper as he heard his daughter.

"He would like to speak to you." her mother said moving the phone from her ear and towards her daughter who looked at the phone in disbelief.

"Tell him to rot," and with that she was out the room and back to her bedroom.

"She-"

"She hates me, does she not?"

"Klaus I must go," she spoke her voice quiet.

"I'll see you soon my love," he spoke and she cut the call abrupt.

Seconds later her door knocked constantly. Opening the door she came face to face with Kol and Davina. In these eleven years he was over her and married to the young witch named Davina.

"What happened?" She spoke watching him out of breath as he walked into the door his wife behind him.

"Klaus is on his way to you," he spoke and she nodded.

"He called," she spoke and he sighed.

"Where is Joy?" He asked and she watched him with a laugh as he was still breathless.

As if on cue the three heard the sound of smashing and rushed up the marble stairs and noticing Joy smashing everything she could see. As she walked into the dining room area a knife flew to her head and she stopped the knife from hurting her.

"Hey mom," she spoke her voice sad and she walked to her.

"Hey darling it's okay, it's okay I'm here," she spoke and the seventeen year old held her mom and hugged her, something the girl hadn't done in ages.

"Uncle Kol, Davina what are you doing here?" Joy spoke asking the two who stood behind her mother.

"How's my favourite niece?" He asked and she smiled at him.

"I missed you!" She spoke happy and Joy smiled one which was unable to reach her eyes.

Joy, Davina and Kol where all in a spare room in the east wing, where Joy normally practiced her magic. Leah only sat on a stool in the kitchen waiting for her door to swing open. She hadn't moved from the kitchen in hours. Joy walked downstairs to her mom watching her carefully.

"Mom, are you okay you look a little off," she spoke and her mother nodded.

"I'm fine darling, how are you?" She spoke asking her carefully.

"I feel better, at first I was angry, really really angry, I mean I hate him, and I don't know how to control my magic when I'm angry," he spoke and she nodded understanding.

"Maybe you should wear your bracelet," her mother said and she shook her head.

"I don't want to," she spoke pulling a stood out next to her mother.

"Darling, since your werewolf curse was triggered your anger is always going to be hard to control," she spoke as her daughter moved closer laying her head on her mother's shoulder.

"Mom, I don't want to be a whatever I am, I hate it and I hate dad," she spoke and her mother sighed with sadness.

"I know darling and I'm so sorry," she said back to her daughter holding a pain in her heart.

"Mom, why didn't he love me like he did with Hope and don't tell me the crap you always tell me."

"Darling-" she started but was abruptly stopped as the door knocked hard.

"Who is that?" Her daughter asked as the knocks got louder and louder.

"I think, I think it's your dad," she spoke as she walked to the door.

"Why is he here?" Joy spoke getting angry once again.

Leah hadn't known what to say to her seventeen year old daughter instead she watched as she opened the door to come face to face with Elijah, Freya Hayley, Hope, Rebekah, Marcel and the person she hadn't want to see after he ignored both her and her daughter for ten years. The man who ruined her daughter, her husband.

"My love you look beautiful," he spoke and she looked at him moving out the way so they would come into the house.

As everyone walked in Leah greeted them, all except her husband. Joy only watched them her eyes narrowing at her dad as she sat on the end of the staircase. Hope watched avoiding her little sisters eyes the whole time. As it was late Leah showed them all to their rooms but Klaus stood by the door watching his daughter size him up. As leah walked back towards the pair she noticed neither of them moved an inch.

"Leah can we talk?" He spoke and she nodded but Joy scoffed standing on her feet.

"After all these years you still have nothing to say to me, ILL START THEN, YOU TREATED ME LIKE CRAP WHEN I WAS JUST A CHILD-" Joy spoke shouting and moving her arm breaking her fathers leg who fell to the floor groaning in pain. "YOU RUINED MY LIFE BECAUSE OF YOU I AM WHAT I AM!"

"Joy you need to calm down," Leah spoke walking towards her daughter.

"NO! Mom he broke my heart when I was six who does that to a child, I WAS A CHILD AND I HAD TO LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT YOU HATED ME, MY WHOLE LIFE!" She shouted her eyes turning a yellow colour as she broke his leg back and he groaned in pain again.

"You, you triggered your werewolf side!" Klaus spoke groaning in pain as leah attempted to stop her.

"YES I DID WITHOUT YOU, THE FIRST TIME I TURNED MOM TOLD ME I HAD TO AND I COULDN'T STOP IT, I RAN FIVE HUNDRED MILES IN TWO DAYS AND ENDED UP IN GEORGIA, BECAUSE OF SOME DUMB WOLF THING THAT LEADS YOU CLOSER TO YOUR FAMILY! I ran for hours, and hours and you where not there all because you decided to hate me, I CALLED YOU OVER AND OVER TO TELL YOU I TRIGGERED MY WEREWOLF GENE BUT YOU IGNORED ME!"

Leah only closed her eyes remembering the time she explained to her daughter it was because her wolf felt the need to be closer to her father.

"Joy please just look at me, darling I love you with every bone just concentrate on me," her mother spoke as she continued to hurt her father breaking her out of the trance she watched her mom and visibly relaxed.

"Are you okay mom?" She spoke and her mother nodded at her and she watched her husband as he stood on his feet.

"Darling I'm fine, you should go upstairs and get some rest, it's late," her mother spoke and she nodded.

"I'm not apologising to him, the almighty Klaus Mikaelson I can kill you with a wave of my hand not so almighty now," she spoke her words hitting him like venom and he looked at the floor. "You can't even look me in the eyes, I got my eyes from you by the way in case you forgot."

With that she scoffed walking upstairs and leah watched her husband not one look of sorrow on her face.

"When, when did she trigger it?" He asked his words stuttering.

"When she was fifteen," her mom spoke remembering the day her daughter turned.

"Who...how?"

"You mean who did she kill?" She spoke sadly and he nodded.

"She was learning to drive, her and her best friend Rose they took my car when I was working and it was, it was really windy and there was a storm she drove into a ditch the car turned over Joy lived because she healed and Rose died, but because she was driving she had blood on her hands, human blood."

"She was so young, I wasn't there," he spoke regret holding his words.

"When she knew she the werewolf gene triggered after rose died, she called you over and over again then she cried over and over again, she was so scared to turn, she didn't want me she wanted you, it took hours for her to actually turn and she was stuck as a wolf for two days," she spoke and he smiled lightly.

"Like me," he said and she nodded.

"She went to Georgia and when she turned back she cried, so much she told me she could feel you but it was impossible because you weren't there," she spoke her voice sad. "And I had to explain it to her, all of it even the parts I couldn't explain."

"Leah-"

"I hate you for hurting her Nik, I hate you for it so much," she spoke and he walked to her wiping the tears from her face.

"I beg you to forgive me," he spoke his voice begging her as he moved the hair from his wife's face who shook her head at him.

"I won't forgive you, not until My little girl does."

"She a Mikaelson she will forgive me, because we strive on family, I need you to forgive me," he spoke his voice begging and she scoffed moving away from him.

"She does not go by Mikaelson, she goes by Auzoux," she spoke and they watched her his face showing how his heart broke.

"What?" He spoke his voice barely audible.

"She doesn't go by Mikaelson any more," she spoke softly knowing how much this would kill him.

"But she's my daughter," he said his voice broken.

"She's seventeen Niklaus, she's not a child anymore."

"That's what scares me ," he spoke his voice soft and she watched him knowing their daughter would never forgive him.

"You can sleep in this room," she said as they stumbled upon a room, which happened to be the one furthest away from both Leah's and Joys room.

"I want to sleep in your room," he spoke and she chuckled.

"Not happening," she spoke and he smirked and she rolled her eyes.

With a small laugh he walked into the room and leah went to check on her daughter who was sat alone by the pool. Even though it was late her daughter was sat by the pool and hand her hand in the pool loving the water around.

"Hey mom," she spoke noticing her mother's presence.

"Hi darling, how are you?" She spoke sitting beside her her feet in the water.

"I didn't mean to hurt him," she spoke her voice sad and her mother nodded.

"I know my love, and it's fine."

"Mom?" She spoke clearing the silence that had thrown over them her mother only watched her as she continued. "I hate him, I hate him so much."

"I know you do my darling, I know," she said shuffling closer to her as she rested her head on her shoulder.

"How does he expect me to forgive him for making me feel so bad about myself for so many years, mom I've just got out of that spiral I don't want to be blown back into it," she spoke her voice bitter and sad. "I don't expect you to not forgive him mom, not for me."

"Well my love, I'm not going to forgive him, not until you do because you are my everything darling and I will always stand by you, my little Mikaelson," she spoke with a smile.

"I don't want you to call me that," she spoke her voice soft with disinterest.

"But thats your name my love."

"And if it was up to him, it wouldn't be my name."

"Darling, you're his daughter no matter how much you hate him, you are his daughter."

"It's not that I hate it mom, he hates me," she spoke and her mother only kissed the top of her head and sighed.

"I love you, I love you so much my darling," leah spoke and she watched her mom with a grin.

"I love you too," she spoke and heard two pairs of footsteps from behind them.

"Well excuse me, but I love you both two," spoke Marcel coming towards his mother and sister.

"Marcel!" Spoke a very happy Joy who wrapped her arm around her brother.

"Are you really forgetting about me?" Rebekah spoke with a grin and Joy wrapped her aunt in her arms with a smile.

"It's only been a couple of months squirt have you missed us that much?" Marcel asked with a small laugh.

"Well I've been bored," she spoke with a shrug and they chuckled.

"Have you still not got any friends?" Rebekah spoke asking her with a sigh and she shrugged.

"I prefer to hang alone."

"Well my darling niece, I do not like having you be alone."

"Marcel is my friend, right sellus?" She spoke and he rolled his eyes at the nickname she gave him and the smile never left his face.

"Well that's only because I'm your brother."

"And you love it," she spoke with a wink causing her mother to laugh at her.

"We should get to sleep it's already late," Marcel spoke and Rebekah nodded as they said their goodnights and went upstairs.

"Mom?" The girl asked her mother as the pair walked inside.

"Yes angel?"

"Do you think he'll ever care about me?"

"Darling, I know your dad does he just has a really bad way to show it."

"Maybe, anyways good night mom," she spoke walking up the giant staircase and her mother said a goodnight.

Leah sat on the couch in her family room, and turned on the tv flipping the channels as someone sat next to her.

"Hey you," Spoke Hayley and Leah grinned at her with a smile. "I know we talk everyday all the time, but god I have missed you."

"I've missed you too," she spoke as Hayley hugged her tight.

"Now change the channel and let's watch some tv."

"Hayley darling it would help of you let go off my arms," she spoke and she let an 'oh' and let go of her arms with a small smile.

That night the two watched tv and laughed as if they hadn't missed anything. Hayley and Leah where the ultimate friends and whenever they spoke it was like that had so much to catch up on.

"Tell me more about Hope," Leah said and she smirked.

"She has a boyfriend at the school she goes to, his name is Landon," spoke Hayley and Leah gasped amazed.

"And what did Niklaus say?" Leah asked with a laugh and Hayley smirked.

"He went absolutely crazy, the poor boy was threatened over and over, Klaus almost killed him!"

"Oh god, is he supernatural?" Leah asked worried about the boy.

"Yeah thank god, he's a Phoenix so even if Klaus kills him he'll be back!" Leah only laughed at Hayley before watching her and with a smile.

"How about Joy, I mean she is an absolutely beautiful young woman there's no way she doesn't have a boyfriend or a girlfriend."

"I actually wish she did, but she's so closed off, she never leaves the house, after what happened with Rose," Leah spoke and Hayley remembered and felt a pang of sadness for the little girl.

"I heard her attempting to kill her father," Hayley spoke with a little laugh.

"I really thought she would hurt him," leah spoke with a sigh.

"He kinda deserved it," she spoke and Leah nodded in agreement.

"Has he... does he have a girlfriend?" Leah spoke asking and Hayley watched her cautiously.

"Leah," Hayley spoke with a sigh and Leah nodded.

"He does doesn't he?" And Haley watched her awkwardly.

"Not really a girlfriend, more like someone he likes to have sex with," she spoke and Leah nodded.

She hadn't really expected him to stay celibate, after all it was Klaus and that man has some serious needs. She just thought that for once, he would mess around with women.
