"How is she?" Spoke a worried Klaus as he watched his wife who sat next to his very sick daughter.
"The fever's back, but she's not in any pain and she was asking for you," she spoke watching him and he sat next to her. "How's Hope?"
"She's fine, although she doesn't know what's happening to her sister, she was asking how she was," he spoke holding Joys cold hand.
"What did you tell her?"
"That she has a cold," he spoke with a sigh before getting up again.
"Nik she wants you here right now, and she needs you," Leah spoke and he looked at her upset.
"Make an excuse, I'd rather my daughter not know I've gone off to murder witches," spoke Klaus to his wife, attempting to walk away she grabbed onto his hand stopping him.
"We can't be reckless, Niklaus," she spoke not letting go off his hand and you could tell he was angry.
"How would you have me respond? Should I delegate my child's safety to someone else?" He spoke anger filling his words.
"Let me see what I can do," spoke a worried Elijah as he watched Joy carefully.
"And I will handle Marcel, Out of the three of us, I win most likely not to get killed on arrival, Whatever this is, it's as much his problem as is it ours," leah spoke to her husband and Elijah who sat on either side of Joy.
"Leaving me to do what exactly? You can't exactly expect me to not do anything," Klaus spoke getting angrier.
"Niklaus you must stay here and protect our daughter, she needs you now more than ever," she spoke watching him sadness in her eyes and he calmed down. "Do not let anything or anyone near her."
"Fine my love but however a word of warning, the son that you knew is gone so, whatever he is now, he's no ally," Elijah spoke watching her carefully.
"He's still my son, no matter what," she spoke before leaving a kiss on her daughters head before leaving the comping.
Marcel was stood in the cauldron where he gathered all the witches with the help of Vincent who watched them appalled.
"Listen up, Listen up, for five years now, we've had a truce. Stayed out of each other's business, tended to our own. But now, your problems are becoming mine. Someone is taking children," as Marcel spoke his heart ached as he watched his mom and he knew she would hate him, for ignoring her when she left. Before he continued his eyes found her and he gave her a sorrow filled look. "As you know, I have one nonnegotiable rule: we do not mess with kids. Now, you've seen that graffiti. Someone here's got to know who's responsible. Right? So just give me a name."

"We don't owe you anything. You're no friend to witches!" Shouted a random witch holding her child close to her.
"I understand why you don't trust him, I get it. But one of those kids is my daughter, And she's only six, seven soon. She loves to paint, catch fireflies, make up stories, and play games with her sister, and now all I know is that she's sick, really really sick. Right now, I don't care about the past. I'm just a mom asking you to help me. I just want my daughter to get better," Leah spoke staying strong her heart hurting with every word Marcel only watched her sad eyes.
"There's a girl named Lara, I saw her draw the same symbol on her window in blood," spoke a witch who watched her sadly.
"Where do I find this witch?" Asked a very angry Marcel.
"She's not a witch, she's what you are," she spoke the witch looking at leah and she furrowed herself brows. "A wolf."
"Thank you, thank you so much," spoke leah smiling at the woman happily before she turned to go back to the compound.
Before she turned to leave Marcel caught up to her walking with her, his head hung down in shame her eyes sad. As he watched his mom she smiled at him sadly.
"How are you and how is Joy?" He spoke asking his mom carefully.
"She's really sick Marcellus, she has a fever and she's always cold and most of the time she's asleep," she spoke sadly and he smiled at her upset.
"I'm sorry mom, I should have been there for you when you left instead I ignored you when you needed me the most, I'm a terrible son and I'm so sorry for it," he spoke and his mother turned to face him.
"My dear Marcellus, I could never ask for a better son I'll always love you with my whole heart, you, your sister and our family, I know you hate them my dear but they're our family," she spoke sadly knowing how much he disliked them.
"I know, and I love you too I really do hope Joy gets better," he spoke telling his mother.
"You could have killed him, why didn't you?" She spoke asking her son curiously.
"I knew Rebekah's and the whole families life was tethered to his," he spoke and she watched him with a light smile. "I would never let Hope or Joy grow up without a family."
"Marcellus I love you so very much, granted you're a little stupid sometimes but that doesn't matter because, you're my son and you have been since you where eight and I've loved you from the moment Niklaus saved you, my Marcellus I've loved you even when you couldn't read hamlet even with the help of Elijah,Marcellus I love you the most from the moment you made Nik and I feel whole," She spoke tears fell from her eyes, he chuckled at his mom wiping his face and a grin on his face.

"Mom, I love you and I've loved you from the moment you wrapped me in your arms and I'll always love you, no matter what," he spoke and she kissed his cheek.
"I am so sorry for leaving you again," she spoke sniffling.
"I don't blame you mom, this time it was my fault," he spoke and she shook her head.
"No it wasn't it was mine," she spoke sadly and he shook his head as they reached the compound gates.
"Go look after my sister whilst I try to help by helping Vincent," he spoke and his mom nodded walking into the compound to check on her daughter. of
As she reached the room she noticed Hope laying with her sister and Klaus holding both their hands and laying on the bed with them holding their hands.
"How is she?" She spoke making herself known to her husband and he sat up as did Hope.
"She won't wake up and I want to play with her," Hope said on the verge of tears.
"Darling she'll be up soon don't cry," Leah spoke sitting on the bed wiping her tears.
"I miss her Aunt Leah, we always play and paint," she spoke sobbing hugging Leah and Klaus watched her his eyes sad.
"When she's better Joy and you could do all the painting you want," Leah spoke to the little girl in her arms who nodded.
"Hope, there's some paint and pens I got you in your room, why don't you paint your sister a picture," Leah said to a now quite Hope who nodded walking to her room.
"Nik-"
"Freya will be here soon to stir up one of her medicinal concoctions, Please tell me you have answers," he spoke cutting her off talking to her as soon as possible.
"Marcel and I have a lead, a young werewolf who got caught up with the Hollow," Leah spoke holding her daughter cold hand trying to warm it in her hands.
"A wolf involved in witch business?" He asked shocked at the realisation.
"Crazy, I know, I need Hayley to ask her a few questions, because she's their queen and because I've tortured a few of them in the past and they hate me," she spoke to him and he nodded agreeing Hayley should speak to them.
"Well, regardless of her excuses or loyalties, I expect Hayley will show this traitor the error of her ways," Klaus spoke with a grin and she smiled one that didn't reach her eyes.
"She will I messaged her since she's out on the bayou with Elijah and Marcel was going there too," she spoke and Klaus nodded at her with a smile.
Leah sat next to her daughter where Hope lay and held her hand and silently cried and her husband gripped her free hand her tears flooding from her face. He squeezed her hand in reassurance and she shook her head at him.
"Nik she's never been sick, why won't she wake up Nik, why?" She asked a light sob breaking from her chest.
"She'll wake up-" he spoke and she opened her eyes with a groan Leah's head snapping to her daughter.
"Hey, hey baby how are you feeling?" Leah asked watching her scared of her reaction.
"Mom, I'm still cold, have th-the birds gone?" She spoke asking her mother her voice weak.
"Yeah, They're gone, sweetheart," Klaus spoke with a small looking her his daughter.
"Where's hope, I miss hope," she spoke and Leah watched her with a sigh.
"Darling she's painting you a picture," Klaus spoke with a small smile.
"I want to paint too, it's no fair mom!" Joy said speaking sadly to her mom and she looked at her husband.
"When you're better, which will be soon, you and I maybe Hope too, we are going to share the biggest plate of beignets you've ever seen and we're going to paint all day long," he spoke kissing her head and she grinned at him weakly. "And you can tell me where in this big, wide world you'd like me to take you next."
"Mommy told me you loved New Orleans the most," she spoke looking at her dad playing with his big hand in hers.
"I did, once sweetheart, but putting your love in a place is a mistake, remember that darling," he spoke and she nodded before shivering.
"Dad, I really don't feel so good," she spoke before shivering and falling asleep again.
"Nik I don't know what to do, she keeps falling asleep," Leah spoke holding onto her husbands hand.
"Joy I know you can hear me. I want you to listen. The heart that beats in your chest is a warrior's heart. You my sweet daughter have the heart of a Mikaelson. Whatever hold this power has over you, it is nothing compared to your strength. Yours is a power greater than you know. Come on, Joy you need to stay awake," Klaus spoke holding his daughters small hand.
"Dad, Mommy? I saw them, the kids they are scared mom, Dont look at the blue lights, please don't look at them," she spoke and they nodded at her.
"Darling we promise," they spoke holding her hands with a sad smile, as Leah's tears streamed out face.
"Nik we have to save her," Leah spoke wiping her face violently.
"We will, we always save each other," he spoke holding her smaller hand in his larger one.
