"We've found, six one more to go," Leah muttered to Hayley as she flopped down on the couch.
A six year old Joy ran towards her seven year old sister who where in front of the tv laughing. Leah couldn't help but drift of thinking about her husband
"Look how much they've grown," Hayley spoke with a sigh.
"I know, they've grown up to be so beautiful," Leah spoke watching her with a grin as her phone pinged.
"I found a Malraux wolf, you stay with the girls?"
"I'll start mixing Freya's antidote," she spoke with a grin which mirrored Leah's face.
As she walked to the bar she noticed a dark haired woman sitting in the bar. She walked to her and grinned.
"I hear you're the last Malraux wolf around," she spoke and the girl who smiled backed away and Leah grabbed her arm.
"You better back away," she spoke her eyes shining bright yellow and Leah watched her.
"I really wish I could," she spoke hey eyes mirroring hers.
As they walked out the back the girl elbowed Leah in the face and she groaned getting up as she ran. Standing in front of her she sighed with an eye roll.
"There's no getting away from me child, and I really don't have time for this," she spoke knocking her out with a punch.
Rushing back to an abandoned warehouse where Hayley was with the coffins and compelled a baby to watch the little girls. She took some of the girls werewolf venom from her teeth and she groaned waking up in pain. Hayley quickly woke up Freya with a hopeful smile and she awoke with a gasp. Turning to watch look at Leah she only smiled at her. Leah and Hayley quickly turned to hug Freya who smiled at them nicely.
"We don't have time, I'll mix up an elixir and I'll give it to Rebekah and my brothers," she spoke and they both nodded watching her as she patiently until they heard a noise.
"Do you hear that?" Asked Hayley watching Leah and she nodded. "You stay with Freya and I'll go check it out."
Leah only watched as Hayley ran towards where the noise came from and Leah stood protecting a Freya who injected Elijah and Kol with something and placed something on Rebekah's hex.
"Elijah Hayley is in the next room, fighting some people, you go I'll stay and watch her," spoke Leah's bd he nodded eagerly walking towards her as he hugged his sister.
As Elijah saw Hayley he wrapped his arms around her naked body who just came back from her wolf form. He handed her her coat and she put it on covering herself as much as she could.
"Leah?" Spoke Kol and she grinned as he wrapped his arms around him.
"We've missed you guys," Rebekah spoke hugging both Leah and Hayley.
"Let's go home," Leah spoke as they all got into the suv and they headed home.
Everyone was excited to meet both Joy and Hope. As they arrived back it was late and they girls where asleep and in their beds. Hayley and Elijah where the first to go upstairs to do their business. Everyone took their own rooms and Leah checked on the the girls before heading back to the kitchen to pour some whine. As she sat on the couch she was relieved that she would finally be able to see her husband who she hadn't seen in six years.

"Hey what's up?" Spoke Rebekah as she came down the stairs.
"I miss Nik," she spoke with a laugh and she handed Rebekah a glass of wine.
"We'll get him back, tomorrow we'll leave in the morning and leave Freya with the girl, who might I say are absolutely beautiful."
"Thanks bex, I'm so excited which is weird," he spoke and she laughed with a grin.
"It's because you miss him," she spoke as they sat on the couch drinking wine and catching up on the tv shows and music.
Morning came quick the next day and before the two girls awoke Leah, Hayley, Elijah, Rebekah and Kol where out back to New Orleans to rescue Niklaus and Kol was hungry by mid day and noticed a bus.
As they all fed Kol chased a screaming man and Elijah was annoyed at how loud the man was.
"KOL WOULD YOU PLEASE!" He said shouting towards his brother and they all heard a neck snap and then Elijah grinned cleaning his hands with his handkerchief. "THANK YOU!"
"Can we go now I want to see my husband?" Leah spoke getting impatient.
As they all got back into the car they made there way back to New Orleans and Leah grew more and more excited. As they entered New Orleans Kol made his way to Rousseau's, Leah and Freya to the attic where Freya's magic worked faster And Elijah and Rebekah where going to distract Marcel.
"All clear, this is where you absolutely had to do a locator spell?" Leah asked Freya as they walked into the attic.
"Ah, well, when I first moved to New Orleans, I primed this space. Marked it with my magic, made it mine," she spoke talking back to her with a sigh.
"Sister, this dusty bell tower may be yours, but this is Marcel's city, and we're nothing but targets," Leah spoke with a sigh knowing Marcel didn't care about her.
"All the more reason to let her get to work," Freya said as she started doing the spell required. "I found him!"
"Great, let's go," Leah spoke walking out with Freya and under the tunnels since her husband was underground.
"Niklaus!" Shouted his side as she grew closer to where he should be but they couldn't see Him.
"We're here, This spell is strong, it's been reinforced over time, which means it's going to take time to break," Freya spoke with Panic and Leah watched not knowing what to do.
"We don't have time," she said speaking back to her and she agreed.
"I could try brute force. Overwhelm it. But I'll need someone to channel," Freya spoke and Leah nodded eagerly.
"I'll do it, what could be more powerful than another original hybrid," Leah spoke placing her hand in Freya's.
"Apne en vrata. Apne en vrata," Freya spoke chanting over and over again as as she attempted to do the spell opening the seal.
"Freya?" Leah spoke as her nose started to bleed yet she continued to chant over and over again.
"Whatever happens, don't stop until Niklaus is free," she spoke continuing to chant.
"Shall I do it now?" she asked Freya who shook her head.
"No not yet almost through," and with that she began chanting once again. "NOW!"

With that Leah left to where Marcel was with Elijah and stood between them.
"MARCELLUS STOP!" She shouted placing her hand on her sons chest.
"Leah leave us, it's between him and I," Elijah spoke worried about her harming herself.
"He's right, it's between us," he spoke his voice angry at his mother.
"And what Marcellus, you kill me as well, do you want to make my daughter an orphan, YOUR SISTER?"
"It's not your fight-" started Elijah and she was even more angered.
"YES IT IS! Marcel Joy and Hope need their father, they're little girls without their dad, as your mother Marcellus I am begging you."
"I had him as a father, it didn't turn out so well the girls are better off without him!" He spoke his voice angry.
"Leah get Niklaus and go!" Elijah spoke watching her every move.
"No I promised Hayley you two would be fine!"
"He's not going anywhere and neither is Elijah," Marcel spoke running toward him and attempting to bite him.
"Fine! YOU WIN!" Shouted Leah to her son who watched her ashamed. "Marcel I am begging you as your mother."
"WHY! For your family, they where my family too, YOU WHERE MY FAMILY!" He spoke shouting at her.
"You are still my son, you decided to leave me the second I left New Orleans, not speaking to me once," she spoke anger and sadness in her voice.
As Marcels got anger got worse, his fangs came out ready to bite Elijah but someone Stabbed him with the papa tunde blade. As Leah noticed it was Niklaus she smiled at him grabbing his arm as he almost fell. As Marcel fell to the floor they all ran towards the bridge where the car was, Elijah helping leah with her husband. As they made it back to the car Rebekah hugged her brother tears falling fast from her face.
"We need to leave now!" Leah shouted as they got into the car and quickly sped off.
Leah sat in the back with Niklaus who only smiled at her drinking the blood bag she gave him.
"I'm so sorry," she spoke crying moving his hair from his face.
"It's not your fault my love," he spoke as he lay his head on her shoulder throwing the blood bag out the window waiting for his energy to come back.
As they sat in the car Leah showed pictures of both Joy and Hope to Niklaus who grinned seeing his daughters happy. As they approached the white picket fenced house it was dark and Leah helped Niklaus into the home.
"Let's get you into bed," Leah spoke helping her husband to their room.
"I hope you're staying," he spoke and she chuckled.
"I thought you'd want to sleep alone tonight," she spoke earning a scoff from her husband.
"Well you thought wrong," he spoke pulling her hand so she was on the bed laying next to him.
"What are they like?" He spoke asking about both Joy and Hope.
"Well, Hopes seven and she's chatty, loves to be around people, friendly and loves chocolate, and Joy she's six, really really shy, she's also friendly and just like her sister she loves chocolate, but they both love art and sports," she spoke and he grinned wanting to know more about his daughters. "Do you want to see them?"
"Won't they be asleep?" He spoke asking her and she nodded.
"Yes of course but you can see them," she spoke getting you and he grabbed her hand, holding it in his as they walked to the girls room.
As he walked into the room, Leah turned on the light and he watched both his daughters as they slept silently.
"They truly are beautiful," he spoke watching them with awe.
"We can wake them if you want," she said and he shook his head.
"No let them sleep," he said and she nodded as they walked back to their room and heard Hayley and Elijah doing their business.
Laughing at how loud they where, Klaus turned to face his wife with a smirk.
"And my darling when are we going to do what they're doing?" He spoke with a smirk and she rolled her eyes with a smile.
"When you've rested and got your energy back, so hopefully very soon, because I miss you," she said biting her lip and he watched her beautiful full lips.
"I'm going to kiss you," he spoke his voice husky and she only nodded with a smile.
He slowly kissed her pouring all his emotions into his kiss such slowly moved down to her neck then her breast. Hours later they finished and lay on the bed both panting.
"I really, really missed you," she spoke and he chuckled.
"I missed you too love," he spoke before kissing her again.
"Do you hear that?" Leah said placing a hand on her husbands chest.
"It sounds like one of the girls are up," he said and She nodded at him.
"You stay here and I'll be right back," she spoke before jumping out of bed naked and putting on her husbands T-shirt and her shorts as quick as she could.
As she walked to her daughters room she noticed Joy sat up in a panic tears quickly falling from her face.
"Darling whats wrong?" She asked worries looking at her for obvious pains.
"Mommy I had a bad dream," she spoke hiccuping as she cried.
"Baby it's ok, it's only a bad dream," she spoke hugging her daughter who cried in her arms.
"Please don't go mommy, if you go the bad mans going to get me," she said putting her head into her mother's shoulder.
"No one will ever hurt you my sweet baby, no come on get back to sleep," she spoke placing her daughter on the bed and turning on the little nightlight that sat on the side next to her bed.
Almost seconds later Joy fell asleep and Leah went back to bed where her husband was. Noticing how he lay she walked over and sat on the end of the bed moving one of his curls from his face and his eyes opened.
"I knew you'd find a way to bring our family back, I had no doubt in you," he spoke as she lay next to him, placing her hand in his falling asleep.

This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.
