《The devils wife K. MIKAELSON》𝒯𝒽𝒾𝓇𝓉𝓎

Time is what she took, she spent four weeks away from everything that even remotely reminded her of Klaus Mikaelson, except their family of course. She had been watching her daughter and spending time with her and Marcel whenever she could. As much as she wanted to stay out of anything to remotely do with her husband today she was saving his life. She had received a call from a very distressed Elijah telling her, her husbands crazy ex girlfriend kidnapped Freya.
"Niklaus I swear to you if she harmed Freya in any way I will have no problem-"
"I know I know, can we just save her and then You can kill whoever you want," Elijah spoke and Niklaus watched her carefully as he hadn't seen her in a while.
As approaching the cabin they noticed the scent of Freya's blood.
"I can smell her blood, Elijah," Leah spoke with panic in her voice. "I'll track the scent, you and Elijah take the cabin."
"Stay safe, don't do anything stupid," Niklaus spoke and Leah quickly stopped Niklaus.
"Nik, whatever happens today promise me, promise me your crazy ex dies today."
"Aurora dies today, i promise you," Niklaus spoke walking closer towards his wife.
Instead of allowing thin to get closer hit her she sped away to where she could smell Freya's blood. The first few tries she couldn't find her in the boxes Aurora had in the ground. Even as she tried to hear carefully she couldn't hear her until she noticed blood on one of the flowers. Digging up Freya as fast as she could she noticed the dirt on her.
"You're okay, thank god you're okay," she spoke relief flooding her words as she hugged Freya checking for anything wrong with her.
"I'm okay sister," she spoke and Leah nodded carefully.
"Freya I need you to drink my blood so you heal faster and go home and please stay safe I'm going to kill the Bitch who did this to you!"
As she reached the cabin she listened to Auroras voice talking to both Niklaus and Elijah.
"The bullets their white oak Niklaus," Spoke Aurora, Leah hated the sound of her Whiney voice.
"We both know you won't pull the trigger," Klaus spoke with a malicious laugh.
"Yet you're wrong," she spoke and Leah heard a loud bang and with that she barged into the cabin noticing the bitch shot Elijah.
"Elijah," she spoke as she looked at Niklaus her eyes instantly filling with tears. "No no no no you're not dying, you can't."

"Leah you tend to my brother, I'm going to murder my ex," Klaus spoke walking out angry.
"Hey Elijah," she spoke her eyes watery and he breathed heavily.
"You need to be strong, for this family you must help Niklaus find his redemptio-"
Without hesitating she shoved her hand into his chest finding the bullet.
"Leah it is my time-"
"Shut up Elijah! We are family we do not leave each other behind, ahh found it, the bullet hasn't punctured your heart so I'm going to pull it out, it might hurt a little," she spoke pulling the violet from his chest and she sighed in relief when it was out. "You stay here, I'm going to help Nik kill his ex."
With that she rushed to where Niklaus was and heard the both of them talking. As she grew closer she grew closer she noticed Aurora shot Nik in the chest as she grew closer Aurora quickly sped to face her gun by her chest.
"If you kill me now Nik will never forgive you!"
Aurora only laughed and watched her bitterly, "he betrayed me, because he's in love with you!"
"He's hurt Aurora no matter how much you hate him if you've ever loved him you won't let him be in pain!"
"I don't love him, I wanted him because I couldn't have him, but after his truly sweet letter I knew he was mine, I'll even read the note to you if you like," she spoke with a smirk and klaus attempted to find the bullet in his chest.
"I don't want-"
"I HAVE A GUN IN MY HAND FILLED WITH WHITE OAK YOU WILL LISTEN TO WHATEVER I WANT YOU TO HEAR!" She said shouted and klaus attempted to stand but the white oak was affecting him.
"Fine, let me go to Niklaus-"
"SHUT UP! SHUT UP!" She said shouting at Leah who only watched Klaus worried. "I'll tell you what he wrote me before he left darling, I never meant for you to know me I never meant to let you in my darling Aurora, not the first time but certainly not the second, but there is a light in you it makes me wish I was the man you hoped me to be so we could forget what I am, my love I am chained to certain hunger and have damned another to my fate. You have seen what we do we hunt, we feed, we kill But what I am I cannot answer my family are the first; there is no name for it But I also desire deeply And I can love, as I love you. I just wish one day we could wed, as heavy as my heart I must leave today to protect you, I promise to love you with my whole heart until I die."

"Leah ignore her!" Shouted Klaus in pain.
"See Nik, it's not very nice to see your wife in pain is it? Maybe I'll shoot her next?" She spoke with a laugh.
This only distracted her as Leah kicked the gun to the floor instead of getting up she moved to Niklaus and sped away with him. Leah only groaned in frustration going back into the cabin where Elijah was standing calmly.
"Sister, what is happening?" He asked as she held the gun.
"She took Nik, she SHOT HIM!" She said kicking the cabin door.
"Sister I have no doubt you will find him," she spoke and he touched her shoulder.
"We must get home we need Freya to do a locator spell," she spoke panicked and he nodded following her to the compound.
As soon as they reached the compound Freya had waited for them, because Elijah had messaged her beforehand. She had cut her wrist and began to chant.
"Phesmatos Nas Ex Vira Sanquies Sanqinum," she chanted it over and over again until the blood travels to a place leah knew familiarly.
"I'm coming with you," spoke a pissed Hayley and Leah nodded making her way to Lucien's penthouse.
As they reached she kicked the door open to see her husband on the floor his arms shackled to a pole and she only watched him wide eyed.
"I will kill you," Let out her husband grumbling in pain.
"We have company," spoke a laughing Aurora.
"Hello darling Aurora," spoke an annoyed Leah who watched her husband.
"You clearly didn't think this through did you?" She spoke and Leah laughed while heartedly.
"Oh darling we did," she spoke with a laugh as
Hayley exited the lift. "old hybrid, young hybrid always kills old vampire darling."
Without thinking, Leah jumped on top of her and shoved her hand in her chest as Hayley pulled Klaus up and snapped the shackles.
"My love don't," spoke Klaus as Hayley held him up.
"See, he still loves me," she spoke with a laugh and Leah rolled her eyes and pulled her heart out his chest.
"What have you done?" Spoke Klaus watching her body flabbergasted.
"Let's get you home," she spoke with a laugh and hadn't cared and helped Hayley take him home.
Leah sat on the end of the bed where her husband lay drinking blood from one of his cups.
"Why did you come to you could have left me there?" He spoke once he regained most of his strength.
"Niklaus We're a family, granted a very messed up one, but we're family and we don't leave each other behind," she said and he watched her with a small smile.
"I'm sorry, I just want us to start again so could we?"
"Nik-"
"One chance and if you want to leave me I won't stop you," he spoke and she shook her head.
"I'm sorry but I can't, I told you I can't do this."
He took her hand in his and brought his head towards her.
"Who else makes you feel the way I do, who else can make you happier than I?"
"No one, and that's the problem Nik how do you expect me to love you when you can't love me?"
"I do love you, I'll never love anyone more than I love you and that's a promise," he spoke watching her. "We swore we'd stuck together, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, forever and always."
"And I intend to stand by you but not a couple, as a partnership."
"No! Leah I swear to you, I will chase you to ends of the earth to be with you."
"And I will hold you to that, for now I think time apart would do us well."
"Do you really believe that, do you believe our daughter won't look for me as she grows older?"
"Niklaus, I would never stop her from wanting to be with you, but we need time apart."
"As you wish, but promise me it won't be forever?" He spoke asking her and she grinned at him.
"I don't think I could stay away from you forever," and with that she kissed him one last time before her daughter began to cry and he held her.

This is the first time I’ve published anything, and basically the first time I’ve written anything more than mandatory school-stuff. The story will probably have inconsistencies, grammatical errors (not my native tongue, though that excuse is getting old), and potentially confusing (missing?) plot. I will naturally do my best to write something worth reading, but my main goal in writing this story is to have fun and explore the limits of my own creativity. My hope in publishing it here, is that I’ll reach someone who enjoy the story, and can push me forward towards writing more, as it is difficult at times to find the motivation to write just for myself. Additionally, I can’t really promise to have regular updates, as I have a full-time job that often likes to take the ‘full-time’ part literally, and a sporadic social life that occasionally surprises me (happy surprises mostly, so I shouldn’t complain). I’ll aim for once a week to start with, and take it from there. Happy reading! Cover photo by Jeff Hire (/photographer/gun4hire-58415), from https://freeimages.com/.
